CHAPTER 50: The Invitations

Kitsune's Point Of View

I was looking from the window reminishing what have happened when I came to know Zero. So many things have occurred in that short time. I was in my deep thoughts when I interrupted when I see a messenger bird. It was coming into my direction so I extended my arm to let it land in my arm. As I see a rolled up piece of paper in it's beak. I took it immediately and so upon doing it's job it flew away to return from it's owner. Thus, I immediately run down the stairs for the other's to get informed avout the letter.

"Guys, there's a letter for us!". I said upon seeing them. "From who?". Valerie asked immediately. "It was carried by a messenger bird so it's definitely from the Queen". I said thus catching their attention. "Did you read it yet?". Eugene asked me so I shaked my head. "No, not yet, I feel reading it together was a good idea". I replied to her. "Why was that letter important?". Angel asked as she was clueless of it. "You see Angel, this is a letter from the Queen". Zero said to her made her surprised from hearing it.

"T-The Queen? B-But why?". She said asking with her voice stuttering. "Well, before you came here we became acquainted to the Queen and Princess". I said that made her tremble in shock. "The Queen, is it fine to go with you?". She asked. "Yes, of course it is you're with us so taking you with us was a given". Zero answered her. "B-But it's, The Queen?". She muttered with nervousness that made Zero pat her head. "Don't be nervous, She maybe the Queen but she's also Kind and a Loving Mother". He said as he continues patting her head that made me a bit h

jealous and irritated for some unknown reason.

"Then let's see what was stated in the letter then". Merleona said with her rare composure and seriousness. So then we all agreed to open it. I we read the content.

Dear Zero and Company,

You were formally informed that you and your companions were invited as a Guest for a ball. This ball was to celebrate the Coming of Age for my daugther Luna Von Vladimir. Please be informed to dress formally for the event. We will await your presence from the said event. The party will be a week from today. Until the next time we meet each other.

As we finished reading the invitation we were so clueless that we would be invited into such a party. "So what would we wear for coming in their?". Merleona asked that made us girls shrugged for not being able to think of something. So we looked at Zero as he touched his phone like seeing something. For we were so confuse we can't ask him either becausr he might be distracted so letting him be finished is very understandable approach at him for the moment that he was doing something he was focused.

Zero's Point Of View

As I hear them complain I immediately took my phone and opened it. Searching fora Formal attire for such a celebration. So then I made them look at it. "So what dress do you want to have?". I said thus they began looking for their dresses. "I want this one". Merleona said as she picked the red colored one. "Then this is for me". Eugene says as she picked a long sleeve white dress. "This one". Kitsune says as she picked a crop top dark violet dress so I look at Valerie.

"I don't want to wear such clothes, I can't look where I was stepping". She uttered so I look up for her. "Is this fine with you?". I asked as I made her look at them. "Yes this one, I liked it". She said as she pickeda light green colored dress as the bottom part is below the knee level. "Then it's decided". I said but a shy voice talked. "Uhm, I didn't know what to wear". Angel said as she was shyly talked at us with her cute blushy cheeks as she plays with her fingertips. That made us think for her insted

"Ah that's it!". I said upon realization regarding Angel's dress. "Did you finally sort out something?". Kitsune tht made me immediately. As I immediately typed Cute Anime Kid Dress. Then browsed about it after that I decided to take her to look at it. "Do you want something like this one?". I asked her but upon seeing it he eyes twinkled. It was a light pink colored sleeveless cotton fabric. "Yes please, but please a different color". She said with a favor. "Is this good?". I said as I change its color in the screen with a sky blue color but the same look. "Yes I love it! Blue is my favorite". She stated with happiness as she jumped that she accidentally hit the vase breaking it.

But then she stopped for a moment. "Ah, sorry I was so delighted that I didn't thought of anything". She said with her eyes wanting to tear up. "Don't be nervous we won't hate you okay". Eugene said as she extered her arms into her to hug. "Reverse". I said that reversed the state of the Vase. "See". Eugene said to her but she was so surprised. "Big Brother, you can also do that?". She said that intrigued us. "Also? did you see someone using this one?". Kitsune asked her that she nod without delay. "It was used by a short old man in the village". She said that interests me. "A dwarf is it". Merleona says to us. "Is he a friend of yours?". I suddenly asked that made her remember.

"Yes he was". She said with troubled tone in her voice. "Is there a problem?". I asked and she looked at me as her eyes horrified. "He was in danger!". She muttered with nervousness. "Why?". I said to her. "They'll accuse him of hiding for sure even though he didn't". She said as she became frustrated in the thoughts of horror.
