CHAPTER 43: Desserts

Zero's Point Of View

After making the tools, I was preparing for tomorrow before sleeping. Then the day come so we went to the Restaurant. "So Zero, have you prepared your needs?". Rose asked me with concern. "Yes, I already prepared them". I replied to her to ensure the preparation. Then I put the apron on and net for sanitary purposes. "Are you sure you can prepare a food?". Rose asked me. "Yes". I casually said replying to her so she looked at the other girls who have lived with me until now. As they nod without delay in reply to her.

"Yes, he can cook since he always cooks for us". Kitsune replied to her. "Eh!! He did, How admirable". Rose stated with great admiration. Thus, making me a bit uneasy for a moment as I saw her approaching Father. "Well, is everyone ready?". Chef Ram asked at us. "Yes Sir". We said in a sychronized manner. "So what does Zero needs as ingredients?". He asked me with his note in his hand. So I heaved a deep breathe as I thought of the ingredients I needed. "Please gather these, Eggs, sugar, milk condensed and evaporated kind, honey, and any kind of fruits, cookies and water". I said to him s he listed everything I have ordered after that he left with Rose.

So I immediately take out the Ice Shaver, Styrofoam container, a Blender powered by a magic stone, Llanera a small oval shaped metal container and scoope in my Item box. As the Father and daugher came back with the ingridients that I have asked them earlier. "What was that thing?!!". Rose asked upon seeing the. "Ah those are the things that made by Zero himself". Eugene says to her that shocked her. "You mean he invented those?". Rose asked her that she hust replied with a nod that meant Yes. But for me to be told that I invented those are exaggerations since I just make them with the idea from another world.

These creations aren't mine. They were invented by someone else, I just modified some to suit this world. "So how thus these tools work or used?". Rose said as she curuisly listened. "I don't know either". Eugene honestly stated thus making her a bit disappointed I they both looked at me. "Just see it for yourselves later so that both of you would learn to use it, deal?". I said to them that made them smile. "Deal!". They said in sync to each other agreeing to me. "So now let's start!". I said that made the others excited about it. "Why wereall of yoy seemsto be so excited?". Chef Ram asked Kitsune. "It's because his cooking methods were so peculiar but results into a bizarre flavors so for him to make a dessert is so trilling". Kitsune answered him thus making an impression of me. "Ah Valerie can you please make one block of ice". I said to Valerie thus she became active. "How big is it?". She asked me. "Just as big as that container as I pointed at the Styrofoam container.

As I sliced some mangoes and minced their meats putting them into the blender putting some sugar and condensed milk in a trial and error making and blending them together."So that's how this tool works, What was it calle?". The Chef says.. As I also make some variety. "This is called Blender as the name suggests it can blend the mixture of two different ingridients as finely as possible". I said to him.

"Splendid! so what was that dessert you just made, can I take a bite of it to assest it's taste?". He said but then I disagreed to him. "This is called Ice cream but we will need to make it freeze for sometime in this container to cool it". I said to him that made him interested. "Okay I see-". He didn't finish saying something when his daugther interrupted. "Cool, so what does this thing do?". She intercepted. "Well this, Container can Freeze a food or ingridients to slow their rotting and be edible for a sometime but this time well place this here". I explained to them. "Eh, so we can't eat them right now?". Merleona muttered with disappointment.

"Into another recipe". I said thst made them curious for a moment. "What was it this time?". Rose asked "Just let me do it first and you'll see". I said to them so they let me do the procedure. First I put some mango slices in thehlender. Folled with some sugar and cookies. "Isn't it the same as the first one? you just added some cookies". The Chef stated but I lift my finger and signed a relax palm. "It's different okay, just add the shaved Ice". I said as I put the ice in top of it. Then blended it all in the blender as it make sound.

"Isn't it too noisy?". Rose said to me. "Well yes it is, it's because of the pieces of ingridients being crushed". I said to her as it stopped so I turned it on once more. And gave them the finished product. "Then here you go take a taste test". I said thst made them do right away. After taking a bite they looked at me with glistened eyes. "It's refreshingly soothing". The Chef said to me. "Yes! it is to blend the flavour of milk and mango in a finely and those moats of cookies that enhances the creamy texture of the drink". Rose said that caught the attention of the other girls who seemingly focused over something. "Eh!!! That's very unfair, let's us take some too, we were so looking forward to tasting it!". The food-loving Merleona exclaimed as she aimed to grab Rose's share.

"Okay fine, Let me make some more". I said so I make another batch since I just made a little portion of it just for a taste test but knowing Merleona it won't make her feel better if she haven't take a second serving.
