Ikusa-Tsunagi

(Third Person POV)

Throughout the streets of the town, Alok and his cultists ran. 

"Where is Jerome and the others?!" He asked as they ran

"They're not here yet!" One of the other cultists said

"Curses!" Alok said

Suddenly, Hades and Silver appeared in front of the crowd of cultists. 

"Hades-san!" Alok exclaimed

Silver took a step forward, "Begin the ritual." He said, "Now." 

"I suggest you get a move on, Alok." Hades said, "Those two will be here shortly." 

"I think you mean we're here already." They heard a voice say

They all looked up to see Jason and Jellal standing on one of the rooms. 

Alok waved his hand at them, "Fire at them!!" 

The cultists raised their magic staves and charged up magic power as they readied to shoot. 

"Jason." Jellal said as he jumped down

Jason snapped his fingers. 

"Battlefield " 

Suddenly, a wave of magic power hit the entirety of the area. The dozens of cultists were frozen, Alok including. 

"What the hell is this?" Alok said

Jason has used his Battlefield spell to control the land, stopping everyone from moving, including Hades and Silver. As he did this, Jellal landed on the ground and began to wave his arms around, placing magic circles all around the area. 

Hades had his arms closed, "I can't believe I have to deal with this power again..." He said casually

Silver smirked, "You got stronger, eh, Jason?" He said, "No matter...." 

He swung the halberd in the air, causing three rifts of light. 

Suddenly, the ground beneath Jellal exploded with ice and darkness as he was sent flying upwards. 

"What?" He said as he landed on the roof

Jason narrowed his eyes, "Tch." He said before lunging at Silver, "You fucker..." 

"War Magic: Mounted Machine Guns "

As Jason landed next in front of them, he had two massive machine guns mounted on each of his shoulders. 

They then opened fire, shooting high-caliber rounds at them. 

Silver waved his hand, summoning a massive ice wall that blocked the bullets. The bullets hit the ice wall, exploding in a massive cloud of fire. 

"Oh?" Silver said, "Magic guns, huh?" 

Before anyone could do anything next, Alok raised his hands into the air. 

"You infidels!!!" He yelled, "You intend to ruin this sacred day for us?!?!"

He then released a dark aura as the ground began to shake. Jellal looked at this with a concerned face. 

"Jason!" He said 

Hades saw this, "He's finally gone and started it, huh?" He said, "I wonder what he'll do..." 

Silver looked at Alok, "This better be good.." 

"I summon thee, O God of Battle!!" Alok chanted as he released a massive aura

The skies above parted in a circle as magic power crackled in it. 

"Ikusa-Tsunagi" 

A massive foot then descended from the hole as they watched a colossal humanoid creature appear. 

This was Ikusa-Tsunagi, one of the Yakuma Eight-teen Battle Gods. A massive giant that wields a sword, capable of great destruction. 

"Here it is!!!" Alok said, "The catalyst that'll bring forth the new world!!" 

Hades merely looked up at the Battle God, "This was the ritual?" He said almost disappointed, "What a let-down." 

Silver chuckled, "I suppose that'll kill a town full of people, but I guess that's about it..." 

The colossal battle-god landed on the town, crushing several buildings in the process as he let out a massive pressure the shook the ground beneath it. 

Ikusa-Tsunagi then looked down at the cultists, a curious look on its face. 

"O, Battle God!!!" Alok said, "I command thee!! Bring forth the fate of the people of this town!!! Purify these infidels!! Bring forth the Black Wizard!!! Go Ikusa-"

Suddenly, Alok coughed up blood as he looked down. He saw the tip of a spear had been driven through him from behind. 

"Alok-sama!!" Several of the cultist cried out in horror

Alok looked behind him to see Jason holding the spear, giving him a neutral look. 

"Y-You...." He managed, "What are you doing?" 

Jason drove the spear further, twisting it as Alok clutched his wound, blood pouring out of his mouth. 

"What does it look like?" He said, "Killing the summoner of that thing...." 

"Oh..." Alok said, "You imbecile...." 

Jason scowled, "Huh?" He said

"Killing me will achieve nothing...." Alok said, "Ikusa-Tsunagi will carry out its orders.....until they are complete....." 

Jason then pulled the spear out as he took a step back, "Oh." He said, "I see.." 

Alok collapsed to the ground, "I must...." He said, "I must witness his arrival...." 

The cultists then looked at Jason, "You bastard!!" They yelled, "You'll pay-" 

Suddenly, they were engulfed in massive explosions that erupted from underneath. As the flames raged on, they all screamed in agony as they burned alive. 

"Idiots..." Jason said, "Battlefield is still active." 

Hades and Silver looked at this. 

"What a cruel act." Hades said

Jason glared at him, "You're one to talk." He said

"Meteor!" 

Jellal lunged at Hades and Silver and hit the ground, causing a massive shockwave that shook the ground. Both Silver and Hades had jumped away safely and landed several meters away, looking at Jellal who was clad in his Meteor aura. 

"Heh." Silver said, "Guess I'll deal with you before I reap what this battle god will sow." 

Jellal glared at him, "As if I'll let you..." He growled

Suddenly, the massive battle god drew its sword, raising it up in the air. 

Hades saw this, "So it's about to strike." 

"Hm." Jason said pulling a large cylindrical device, "It's a bit slow....." 

He then pointed it at Ikusa-Tsunagi, clicking a button. Suddenly, a green laser light was hitting the battle-god. It didn't do any damage, it was just a simple laser pointer. 

Hades noticed this, "And what does that intend to do..." 

"Shh..." Jason said with a frown, "It takes a while to mark...Hey, Felicity..." 

"Yes?" Felicity's voice was heard through Jason's badge, "I am on standby." 

"Yea, you got the ping from my marker?" Jason asked

"Of course." She said, "Eyes on target." 

"Let it rip." Jason said

"Firepower?" Felicity asked

"Hmmm....." Jason said, "Enough to blow that thing's top half off. We don't wanna hurt the town's citizens." 

"Roger that." Felicity said, "40% of my Cannons are now taking aim.....adjusting firepower.....calibrating trajectory speed.....ready to fire." 

Jellal looked over at this, "Jason what's this?" He asked

"Shut up." He said, "Watch the fireworks." 

He then smirked. 

"Fire"

After a few seconds, as Ikusa-Tsunagi began to swing its massive sword down, it was hit with several warheads that exploded on contact. The number of explosions and warheads hitting the colossal battle god was baffling as its top half was dwarfed by massive black cloud of flames and smoke. 

Jellal looked up at this as the battle god began to buckle, "What's this?!"

Jason laughed, "Oh, good ol' Nemesis firepower, man." He said, 

"Never fails to impress."
