Fairy 58: Zack vs SS-Class Criminal III
"I don't understand what this ransom thing is… but like heck I will stand by, and let you and your men harm an innocent child!" Zack roared, reaching his limit of his rage, and send a supersonic attack, Sonic Slash, towards the masked man, who become startled seeing such an unknown use of magic, blasted from a sword.
Even if the red demon masked man, Damon became surprised seeing such sonic like magic. The masked assassin himself, shows his vast amounts of experience. And quickly dushed away with his monstrous agility, as the supersonic attack, Sonic Slash, missed him, and deeply craved into the ground, where he was.
"Ooh… what kind of magic is this~?" Damon curiously asked, before he summoned his second katana in his other
"Well, I supposed it doesn't matter, it is quite dangerous, if I didn't dodge it, surely, I be split in half~ But I doubt you able to use such strong use of magic fre-!?"
Before the masked man able to finished his words. Zack begins to used series of Sonic Slashes towards the masked assassin. Showing the might of his Quake Magic (Gura Gura no Mi), raining down pure destruction towards and around the masked man, known as Damon.
The shockwaves generated by the series of Sonic Slashes, ruined the forest around Zack and the masked man, Damon. Not only did the tens of meters between them became a wasteland of destruction. But even the aftershock made it hard for Damon to gain any kind of footing, making his footwork all useless against this magic.
However, in the end, Damon still managed to dodged the incoming attacks, with unstable footing, and cannot help his curiosity towards Zack's destructive magic of his, from burning so brightly.
And this curiosity of his burn even brighter, when he looked at Zack, moving around the earthquakes he created, almost as if he became one with the vibrations. To the masked man, Damon, it looks like Zack is not only unaffected by the shockwaves, but he even seems to swimming within them.
Using the fact, he became one with the vibrations to his advantage. Zack moved like fish in the sea towards the masked assassin, and raised Nightfall high in the air, and slash at the mask man. As sounds of metal clashing sounded, when Zack attacked the man, who madly laughed when their swords cross.
"What kind of magic is this!? What kind of magic, that allows the caster not only to be unaffected, but able to swim in like water!" Joy fills the man that trying to kill Zack, like a child that found a new toy (Zack).
However, as their swords locked against each other, Zack suddenly got a bad feeling, but it was too late, as sparks of lightning begin to form from the katanas locking with Nightfall, only to shocked Zack!
"Argh!?" Zack roared, and quickly used Gravity Magic, to forcedly grabbed him away from the masked assassin, Damon. And looked at the two swords, that still sparking with lightning, before lashes of lightning danced like whips, and lashed towards Zack.
Zack dodged the first one, and used Quake Magic, shaking the ground, to increase his speed away from the slashes of lightning hitting him. And even use Gravity Magic, as a shield, against the second rain of lightning slashes and lashes, from the two swords.
"Hahaha! How about this one!?" Unsummoning the twin lightning katanas, a flaming silver greatsword appeared in the hands of the masked man, Damon. Before he slashes the flaming greatsword against the body of Nightfall.
Zack, who block the attack, felt the monstrous strengthen slash of the flaming sword, and felt his hands aching, just blocking the attack from the man before him. And worse yet, Zack's eyes widen, feeling the heat from the sword, beginning to make it hard for him to breath.
And in that moment of cluelessness. Damon sends a kick in the opening that Zack left, sending him flying away, and clashing into an already ruined tree, caused by his magic from earlier.
But before Zack could regain himself, the sword of flames, slashed towards him again and again. Zack used series of Gravity Magic spells and Quake Magic moves, to dodged, swim away from the sword, that nearly cut him in half, each time they about to cut him.
Overwhelmed, experience, might, magic, and even techniques. Zack first the first time, what it meant to be powerless, against someone who is levels above yourself. And Zack knew, Damon, this demon masked man, is only playing around, not taking him serious at all. But knowing the truth, only made Zack frustrated, and hopeless.
Not to mention, longer they fought like this. Not only it be a matter of time before Zack is defeated. But Hisui might be found before he could do anything about that Shadow Wizard, who went on the same path, where he left Hisui.
"Oh my, what are you thinking about boy? We still in the middle of a battle!" Damon asked, before he unsummon his flaming greatsword, and took out a pair of greenish steel gauntlets, and sent a punch towards Zack.
But it wasn't a normal punch, as soon Damon punched towards Zack, Zack dodged, but a gust of wind blasted out of the green steel gauntlet, slamming into Zack, before they sent Zack flying into the air, and crashing into the ground.
Zack eyes widen, as he could taste something iron in his mouth, only to discovered it was his own blood. And turned towards the masked man, who stood still, almost as if a cat waiting for their prey's next move.
'I am being toyed with… aren't I?' Zack thought, as he looked at Nightfall, and thought of using his sword's true power, God Slayer Mode.
However, not only it takes time to activate that power. But the backlash of using Nightfall's God Slayer Magic, that coats his own magic systems into God Slayer Magic, is something Zack cannot afford to pay right now.
If he was alone, sure, he be willing to pay the price, of using God Slayer Mode. But he isn't, and once the backlash hits him. Even if he were to defeat this masked man, Zack is not sure, he could save Hisui and defeat the Shadow Wizard, with a weaken state of body and magic.
'Meaning… I have no choice… to use 'that' don't I?' Zack thought, and took a deep breath, before he stood up. And looked before the demon masked wizard. And Zack gathers massive amounts of magical power inside his body.
Damon senses the magical power inside Zack, and frowned feeling something at mist. Using the gauntlets, that can create winds, he blasts himself towards Zack. But suddenly he used the wind magical gauntlets to stopped himself, as Zack stabbed Nightfall into the ground, as a powerful earthquake, blasted all around Zack.
Damon managed to dodged, by flying into the air, with the wind gauntlets, and safety avoid the shattering of the ground, and the destruction crated by the supersonic shockwaves that blasted all around Zack.
But a frown once again appeared, as his intuition, that formed through countless life and death situations, is ringing in his ears, something big is going to happen.
And then it happened, as Zack's magical power rapidly increased, those shockwaves just now, was just done to gather time for Zack's true purpose.
And that was to unleash his current strongest spell.
"Annihilation Blast!!"
Zack roared, and unleased the gathering Ethernano inside him, and used Quake Magic (Gura Gura no Mi), but instead of his usual Sonic Slash, that must be used with a sword. Zack gathered his Quake Magic into his fist before he punched the air before him.
The atmosphere before Zack's fist, begin to rapidly ripple at a fast speed, faster when he uses it for supersonic attacks, like Sonic Slash. The rippling air begin to gather hot air, smoke gathered before the air.
It is something that Zack discovered, when he was trying to see how fast he could spin his vibrations, he could create though Quake Magic. it was something that almost killed Zack if it wasn't for Erza saving him.
It was something even more deadly then the supersonic attacks, that created by the shockwaves, from the rippling vibrations he can create all around him. And this spell, this power created from the usage of overheating vibrations on the smaller level, until they blowup, is something Zack called Annihilation.
And right now, before Zack, the overheated atmosphere before him, created from the smaller level vibrations. Blasted towards Damon, like a cannon of mass destruction.
Powerful heatwave assaulted the earth, before a strong physical force, shattered into the earth before it, completely annihilating anything before it. Like an explosion, everything between Damon and Zack became hell itself.
Damon, the SS-Class criminal, but in reality, as strong as a Saint Wizard, an SSS-Class Wizard. Looked at the mass destruction blast heading his way. Fear could he felt, as he looked at the storm of flames and physical force heading his way, completely annihilating anything before its path.
'Annihilation… he call it…? A fitting name… shame, I have to use 'that' already.' Even so, against thew overwhelming force, that could kill him. Damon, the leader of the Nine Hands, remain calm, and unsummoned the wind magical gauntlets around his hands. Before the robes and the mask on his body shine with light and replaced with a blackish red sinister armour.
Using nearly all of his magical power, several force shields appeared around the armoured Damon, as the blast of destruction hit him. the first layer of the force shield shattered, the second the same, and the third, all shattered if it was made of paper.
But the fourth force shield did last longer then the other three. But still shattered in the end, until all eight layers of magic barriers shattered one by one, slower then each time, by a second each. But it is enough to weaken the force of destruction, as a 3m high tower shield appeared in Damon's hands, blocking the attack, but also shattering the magic shield in the progress.
'Oh my… this combo, is used to block even a full-on attack of someone on the level of a God of Ishgar level… to think, a mere kid will shatter them? No… If I was hit by that magic point blank, I will die… hahaha, where did this monstrous kid came from!?'
Maybe it was because he was close to death, or maybe the joy of facing such a monstrous enemy. Damon forgot about his promise to let Zack go, if he managed to land a hit on him. And summoned a giant hammer, with an icy frosty aura all around it.
Damon madly with his ominous dark red armour still one, appeared right next to Zack, who seems not right himself. And swung the hammerhead towards him. Zack bites his lips, before he uses both his Gravity Magic, to slow down the force of the icy aura giant hammer. And Quake Magic, to create a rippling shield before him, that withstand the force and weight behind the hammer.
However, even if Zack managed to block the icy hammer. But the coldness from its icy aura, did not. Lucky enough, Zack just uses Ice Magic, to increased his resists against the coldness of the icy hammer and withstand the icy aura with his body and magic.

Before you question, did I make up an exploding element to Gura Gura no Mi Devil Fruit powers? Then the answer will be no, I didn't.
I actually was researching the possibility of Gura Gura no Mi online, and read an article, that stated, it is possible to created vibrations on smaller level that will not only overheat into flames, but also into a form of an explosion.
Of course, it been over a year since I looked that up. So, I don't remember, who or which site stated this. But it is nice to know, it is possible to create explosive attacks with Gura Gura no Mi, besides the usual supersonic attacks, or earthquake attacks.
