"Old man, move aside.." standing on top of Erza's hand, I looked down upon the old man who stood before the army of dragons, standing rall.
"We created Nirvana, it can't be controlled. Please, turn back." The old man said to which I smirked slightly, although it couldn't be seen behind the armor.
"Let me kill this ant." Levi said his bloodlust growing, the fact they were now dragons truly had a huge impact on their minds. This transformation came with a transformation to their personality.
"You're not his match, you stand before a master of illusion, a master who can turn imagination into reality on a high scale," I said stunning those who heard my words,
"Plus, he isn't alone... looks like there are many who gathered to combat us," I said while looking at the army from the many empires we visited gathering. It wasn't only the empires we visited, but also empires from all over the continent, even those that couldn't land support during the war with the dragons due to how far they were.
"Are you willing to lower the population of the world for world peace? As things stand, you have to kill hundreds of thousands of humans just to reach Nirvana... at that point, what makes you better than Acnologia." A young soldier said, while I calmly looked at all of them for some time.
"Humans have the highest population on earth, for the greater good what impact would your death hold... it's best you all die. kill them." I said calmly, and with those words, the dragons shot forward. Roubaul, the last survivor of those who created Nirvana, made his move, creating an army of dragons. These dragons were all illusions, but they were all alive, with personalities of their own. They even outnumber us by 1 to 1,000.
"You were not joking," Erza said amazed by this guy's level of power, luckily he didn't have Dragon Slayer magic. Even so, illusion magic pushed to this scale could create the illusion of dragon slayer magic, allowing him to even be able to kill dragons.... but his magical power was weak compared to us.
I pointed toward the army of dragons before me, creating a small black-red flame that flew forward at a slow speed. A speed that everyone could follow, a speed which everyone was sure they could easily dodge... but when it came into contact with a dragon, that small-looking flame exploded in size, swallowing all of the illusion, erasing them.
"Go," I said with my arms crossed, and so the army shot down, and a bloodbath quickly followed. The army put up a fight, they had dragon slayer weapons, and they had magic of all forms to combat us. But I pulled away every dragon that would be killed, I would not allow any of my people to die... not for a 4th time.
Roubaul tried his best, creating an illusion of dragon slayer weapons or gear that would support everyone, he was the MVP in all of this, allowing the army to do the most amount of damage to my 2,000-strong army. But to every 20,000 soldiers that fell, 1 dragon was pulled back by me to avoid death.
"Hear me Gods above, governors of the world, I offer to you these sacrifices, descend to our mortal plane, and save us from the evil known as the Scarlet King." Above Nirvana, a priest held his hand together, and oddly there were no sacrifices around him... that was unless you look at the current battlefield where dozens of thousands of soldiers were dying.
"Something is happening," I said while looking at the sky, there was a reason why didn't jump right into battle. I was on guard against traps, and as expected, something happened, as the sky began to open up. Not just the sky, but also the earth began to open up.
Chains from the heavens fell, and chains from the Earth flew out, everyone froze in shock at the sight happening, while I quickly created flames that burst forward, but as the chains and flames touched, the power to seal and the power to burn it all clashed.
But I was quickly forced to summon more flames, for more chains appeared, and a seemingly endless rain of chains shot toward me. I moved, trying to burn it all to ashes. I had to use my arms, my feet, and my mouth to combat every incoming chain... but there were just too many. By Many, I meant billions, billions of chains were rushing after me. My sword which I summoned was quickly teleported out of my hands by a mage... who was then burned to ashes along with those near him.
One arm could hold back 100 million chains, but the huge amount of chains was just overwhelming, with such high numbers, I quickly found my arms chained up, along with my legs, and neck, before my whole body was chained up.
I wasn't alone, as the dragons and the whole space were chained up, the army was swallowed, and the whole land was swallowed along with Nirvana. For a moment, chains filled the space before the chains melted, turning into a temple. Standing before the temple, the only one the seal didn't target stood... Roubaul, who was horrified by such a sight.
"Guard the seal." the voice of the gods boomed across the air, forcing Roubaul to his knees in respect...
Within the dimension of the gods, all lesser gods and greater Gods who were gods of sealing were slaughtered, so that they could seal away the ant below. But with the ant sealed, it would be 1,000 if not more years until the ant returned, enough time for the magical energy within Earth land to recover, and for the gods to truly plan their return, and punish the ant..
Within a unique space, dragons and humans could be seen fighting. Erza using her knight magic slaughtered thousands of soldiers, but the soldiers just reformed, enraging Erza. These humans were sealed off from death, meanwhile, the dragons were open to die, forcing them to slowly fall back, and towards the center of the space where the chains which were wrapping around me like a cocoon stood,
"Ryu! We are going to be slaughtered here! Do you want your people to die here?" She roared knowing this would be the motivation I would need to shatter from the cocoon... and she was right, as the chains after a second suddenly began to heat up. To them, the cocoon wasn't bigger than a bus, but for me, I was within a pocket space,
I let out a roar while grabbing my neck, ripping off the chain around my neck, with a bit of my magical power free, I let out a Dark Phoenix Breath, which burst into the sky, the breath moving to my will to combat the chains holding me.
I didn't stop breathing out, and my armor was shockingly also absorbing this armor. It was like my armor was poison, slowly covering the golden chains, and silver chains began converting to scarlet.
But as I destroyed more and more chains, more chains came to replace the destroyed chains. But I didn't stop, this wasn't a reason for me to slow down. The longer I spent within this seal, the later I would be to save my people.
My flames moved as if they were alive, and oddly they were starting to grow stronger. In the past, these chains of sealing were able to combat my flames, but slowly my flames were growing, growing immune to the power to be sealed.
Realizing I needed more firepower, my eyes glowed, and every chain I looked at caught on flame. The pocket space was quickly swallowed in black flames and the black flames only grew more effective against the chains with every second that passed.
Soon my whole body was free, allowing me to shoot flames from every body part of my body. In the past, I would have shot them from the legs or arms... but I was shooting it from every hair on my body, from my stomach to my little brother. No inch was left without black flames shooting off my being.
Slowly, bit by bit, the black flames reached the wall of this pocket space, it began to melt, and the melted chains fell on top of me as I walked out. I appeared before the now silent world, the soldiers horrified by the world which was now burning hot by my appearance.
I looked at my hands, frowning at the fact I had red chains around my arms. I looked behind me and saw that the melted chains were absorbed into my armor, transforming into a piece of clothing around my shoulder that rained down to my lower body,
"You have all caused enough problems," I said turning my attention back to the soldiers, and with just a look, they were burned alive, erased from existence... at least that was what I thought, but this didn't seem to be their real body... no, this was their real body, but they were sealed here in such a way, that they couldn't die unless the seal was destroyed.
I watched as they reformed, horror on their faces as it was the most painful thing they went through. I looked at them for a moment, before looking at the seal we were trapped in. I frowned, although I could break this seal, in doing so, we would appear in the void. I should be able to survive there... right? There was a good chance even I would die within a void. A place without space or time... although that made no sense to me, I had no time to think about that now.
I couldn't risk it, as everyone here would die, and Nirvana would die. I looked at all of the dragons, luckily all of them were alive, just some who were injured. Acnologia wasn't here, I wouldn't carry around his knocked-out body. It was troublesome, so I just threw him to the side to wait for me.
"We can't die, man we must fight, or else this world be hell!" A soldier screamed while shooting forward towards me. I stopped Erza who was about to stop the soldier, while I stabbed forward, my palm stabbing straight into the soldier's forehead... and with a blink, his blood and soul were devoured, leaving him dried.
"I can't kill you, but there are fates worse than death," I said while waving forward, pulling all of the soldiers toward me. With a thought, my flames turned into blades, which cut open their bodies, but they were not burned out of existence to my will, instead, their souls and blood were sucked into my body.
I was covered in the cocoon by thousands of soldier blood, a cocoon which quickly hardened, before it shattered, revealing a scarlet demon. Erza and everyone else froze at the sight of this demon, for this demon seemly had no skin. Its sharp white teeth could be seen by everyone, with no lips to hide them.
It had no eyeballs on its head, instead, all of the eyes were on its chest, dozens of eyes looking around. Those who looked into those eyes felt like they were going through hell, an unimaginable level of fear and horror swallowed them, but luckily for them, before the eyes could turn to look at them, the eyes closed.
Their attention was drawn to the head once more, there a scarlet flame floated, being a crown of flames. My size had grown, easily bigger than dragons. Dragon wings slowly grew from my back... no, they were not purely dragon wings as they seemed to be a mix between a phoenix wing and a dragon.
This was the fusion of 4 races. Demon, Dragon, God, and Phoenix... but it took on a more demonic form.
Slowly its size began to shrink, while the red skin-like armor disappeared, and there the young man appeared before them all, looking at them all with a deep sigh.
"We are trapped here, if we try to destroy this space, we will appear within the void," I said while sitting and looking at all of their injuries. I looked at my palm, but I only summoned black flames,
"What should we do?" Everyone grew unease, I looked at all of them before looking at Nirvana, a moving city. Although it was a weapon, Nirvana carried a city on its back, I looked back to my palm for a moment, remembering one of Irene's skills. How she was able to enchant her injuries onto someone else... could I burn away someone's injuries?
"Go." Flames unseen by anyone moved to my will, and after a moment, all of the injured dragons found their injuries erased from existence. Even so, none of them felt pain.
I pointed towards the sky, and I tried to open a portal out of there... and that was of course not going to work, instead, I could do something like open a mirror that would show us the future.
The mirror reflected the city, I had it go hundreds of years into the future, causing my forehead to be covered in sweat at how hard this was. I pushed with everything I had, going beyond who knows how many years when we saw a glimpse of Nirvana returning to the outside world thanks to someone breaking the seal from the outside world.
I fell to one knee, sweat covering my forehead. I looked at everyone for some time, before speaking.
"You all saw what would happen. We would wait." I said making everyone's eyes brighten in joy, but their joy was washed away by someone.
"That was a good 100 or so years away... even dragons can't go that long without food." An old dragon said with a sigh, to which everyone's face paled realizing that their only food source was each other, or the humans I had just absorbed... no, they would lose any benefit they gain from eating the humans since they would reform.
"I'm rich with magical energy," I said calmly while using my arm to cut off my arm. I would use my sword, but it fell when I was facing the chains. At speeds far greater than in the past, my arm regrew in seconds without the need for magical energy.
"I will be your food source," I said making all of them uncomfortable by such a thing. Erza was the first to reject this.
"What would you eat?" Erza asked to which I shrugged.
"I can go through rebirth after death from hunger or whatever. Plus, I should be able to go into deep sleep until it's time to give you all the food. It would help me save energy." I said lightly as if this wasn't a big deal.
"No, do you think we would accept this?" Erza roared in rage,
"You followed me, and it's because of me we ended up here. And as your king, I have to put you all first." I said calmly,
"... there is a better way around this," Levi said to which we looked at him in confusion.
"I heard a few dragon slayers had sealed their souls inside a dragon slayer... we can do this, we just need to seal ourselves inside you, we just need to change the seal a bit since you don't hold all of our element," Levi said to which I closed my eyes for some time, before I nodded...
Time passed, and it didn't take long for the seal to be completed. It didn't take long for them to be sealed inside me, but they were able to leave and return inside me whenever they wanted. My magical power was also able to be converted into food for them to feed off. With 2 thousand dragons eating my magical energy like they were, it would boost the quantity of my magical energy as every time it recovered, it would not only be more than before but also be stronger.
After a good few years within this sealed pocket space, one could hear the chant of dragons, dragon swearing their loyalty to their overlord. The pocket space had transformed, Nirvana had turned into a huge dragon, with a dragon city on its back. On the neck of the dragon, dragons kneeled before the Scarlet King.
"Praise the Scarlet King, rest my king. When you awaken, the world shall know peace." Erza standing in front of the dragons said with a lowered head, all while my eyes slowly closed, entering a deep sleep to save energy.
"Let's go, we saw the person who would come here. let's give them some motivation." Erza said with a grin...
{A/N: This is the end of Arc 2... next few chapters will be filler. Chapters that would be simpler for me to write.
Also, Mc can't use his black flames to break matter down into atoms and reform it into food. His flames hold no life force to do such a task.
His armor gained that scarlet cloth as a sign of divinity, while the chain around his arm is a sign of new powers the armor gained.
MC's recovery speed had improved greatly, allowing him to regrow limbs in seconds without the need for magical energy. I think that's everything I didn't care to explain in this chapter.}
