Magical Convergence Cannon: Jupiter

Earth Land ,Ishgar, Kingdom of Fiore, Magnolia.

August, x784.

It took a few minutes for the walking building to travel down the river to a point where it was standing opposite the location of the Fairy Tail guild hall. In that time, most of the town's residents did everything they could to clear the area around the building.

Meanwhile, the Fairy Tail wizards, and Juvia, stopped whatever it was they were doing to watch the building approach.

Eventually, when the Phantom Lord HQ reached its desired location, Jose's magically enhanced voice echoed over all of Magnolia.

{"Hand over Lucy Heartfilia."} Jose's voice rang out from the Phantom Lord HQ's speaker system. {"If you don't, believe me when I say you won't be able to handle the consequences."}

"Holy shit!" Alfonzo exclaimed in response to Jose's declaration. "Is this guy trying to get demoted to third-rate villain status?"

With that, the area fell silent. And since Alfonzo used his magic power to amplify his voice, even the Phantom Lord wizards in the Phantom Lord HQ heard it. A moment later, however, the silence was broken by someone else who could not read the mood.

"Pfft! Hahahaha!" Elicia laughed loudly after no longer being able to suppress it. "Silly Fonzie, he was demoted to third-rate villain status when we went to Oak. Man, if you had heard the stuff he was saying then, you would think this was cute."

Hearing that, Alfonzo widened his eyes in surprise. Then, he looked in the direction of the walking building with a mock apologetic expression on his face.

"Ah… I'm sorry." Alfonzo said, slightly bowing his head. "I didn't know you achieved your dreams. Please forgive me."

Finally, all the wizards from Fairy Tail could no longer hold back their laughter, resulting in the whole area echoing with the laughter of an entire guild.

Meanwhile, Jose was gritting his teeth in anger. In fact, the whole Fairy Tail guild knew it. They could hear it through the magic speakers, after all. However, instead of getting tense due to Jose's anger, they laughed even harder.

{"Enough!"} Jose shouted through the speakers, causing some feedback that annoyed everyone that heard it. {"You Fairy Tail fools have mocked me for the last time. Deploy the Jupiter Cannon!"}

With that, the laughter immediately died down. At the same time, a section of the building's front slid open. From that opening, a large metal tube extended outward. Then, once the tube was extended as far as it could go, it started to extend even further like a telescope. Eventually, all the segments were extended and the Jupiter Cannon, Magical Convergence Cannon: Jupiter, was revealed.

"Is he crazy?" Cana asked, finally putting down her barrel of alcohol. "That thing will destroy more than just the site where the guild hall was built, but the shockwaves will decimate a good part of Magnolia."

"It looks like he doesn't really care." Ur said, approaching the group that was separate from the rest of the guild. "I think Alfonzo and Elicia's mockery sent him over the edge."

With that, Ur glared at Alfonzo and Elicia for making the situation worse. However, the nonchalant expressions they both wore made it clear that they were not impressed with Phantom Lord's magic weapon.

"He's pretty stupid, isn't he?" Elicia asked while looking up at the Jupiter Cannon's barrel.

"Yeah. Even dumber than his Dragon Slayer." Alfonzo replied with his arms crossed and a bored expression on his face.

Hearing that, Makarov, Cana, Ur, and Mirajane, who was no longer sitting on Alfonzo's lap, looked at the duo with confusion.

Seeing the expressions of the others, Alfonzo sighed in exasperation.

"You guys forgot too, huh?" Alfonzo asked.

Before anyone could ask what he was talking about, however, Jose's voice interrupted them.

{"Now that you can see what is in store if you continue to refuse me, Hand over---"} Jose said after noticing that most of Fairy Tail had stiffened after seeing the Jupiter Cannon. Before he could increase the intimidation factor, however, he was interrupted.

"For fuck's sake!" Alfonzo shouted in annoyance. "If you're gonna shoot, just shoot the fucking thing! We don't have time for your fucking monologue. You're just delaying the inevitable ass kicking you and your whole guild are about to catch."

Once again, the area fell silent. While the members of Fairy Tail were looking at Alfonzo in disbelief, and Jose's teeth could once again be heard grinding together through the speaker system, Alfonzo and Elicia maintained their nonchalant, slightly annoyed expressions.

Feeling the gazes from his guild mates, Alfonzo turned his head back.

"It looks like you all forgot, too." Alfonzo said while shaking his head. "Panic really is the greatest enemy to logical thinking."

Eventually, Jose calmed down enough to give his next order.

{"Fire! Fire the Cannon!"} Jose roared hysterically. {"Make that brat pay for not giving me the respect I deserve!"}

With Jose's order, A bright light appeared at the tip of the Jupiter Cannon's barrel. Seeing this, the Fairy Tail wizards tensed.

The first to break out of their state of tension was Erza. Dashing to the front of the group, she [Requipped] into her most defensive armor, the [Adamantine Armor]. Now standing in front of the guild in a dark colored armor made of adamantine plates and a skirt made from adamantine, Erza held a shield in each hand that could be combined together to create an even large shield.

"Seriously, there was no need for all that." Alfonzo said in an exasperated tone.

"Huh?" Erza asked, looking a little upset that Alfonzo and Elicia were taking this so lightly.

"Just step back and watch, Erza." Elicia replied with a shrug.

At that moment, everyone could feel  that the magic power gathering at the tip of the magical cannon's barrel was about to reach its critical point.

{"Now, you fools will pay for insulting the strongest guild in Fiore, Phantom Lord!"} Jose shouted maniacally.

"Moron…" Alfonzo said as he raised his right hand.

At the same time, the metal barrel of the Jupiter Cannon curled upward with Alfonzo's hand movement. Eventually, the barrel was pointed at the upper most part of the building. The place where Alfonzo could feel the largest magic power signature. More than likely Jose's.

{"What is this?"} Jose shouted in astonishment. {"Cancel the firing sequen---"}

*Boom!*

Before Jose could finish, however, the Jupiter Cannon fired. And with the barrel bent, it fired on itself. On top of that, due to the barrel being bent, it was unable to stand the stress from firing the compressed beam of magic power, resulting in the barrel exploding into thousands of pieces that rained down on Magnolia.

Before the shattered pieces of the Jupiter Cannon could do any damage to the town, however, they all started to levitate towards Fairy Tail. Then, when they were half way between the walking building, that was now missing its top floor, and Fairy Tail, they stopped.

"These are yours." Alfonzo said with a smile. "Make sure to take them with you when you leave."

Gesturing with his hand once again, all the shattered pieces of the Jupiter Cannon were sent flying at high speed at the walking building.

*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*

A moment later, the sounds of impact, broken walls, and pained screams could be heard all over the walking building.

Meanwhile, the previously worried and scared members of Fairy Tail all looked at Alfonzo as if he had grown a second head. Once again feeling the gazes on him, Alfonzo looked back and tilted his head.

"Why did you all even think that a magic weapon whose barrel was made of metal would be able to hurt anyone while I was here?" Alfonzo asked in a confused tone. Then, he shook his head and looked back towards the walking building. "Anyway, I've gotta go have a little chat with Jose Porla. I'll see you guys later."

With that, using his [Electromagnetism Magic], Alfonzo began floating towards the opening the barrel previously came out of. But before he could get too far, He felt threads wrap around his torso. A moment later, he felt a soft body press onto his back and a pair of arms wrapping around his neck from behind, while a pair of legs wrapped around his waist.

"I'm coming too, Fonzie." Elicia said while rubbing her cheek on Alfonzo's.

"That's fine with me." Alfonzo replied with a shrug and a smile.

Once again, the wizards of Fairy Tail looked at Alfonzo and Elicia in bewilderment. Then, an uproar started. Meanwhile, Erza and Mirajane exchanged glances before they were both covered in a flash of light.

In the next instant, Erza was clad in her [Black Wing Armor] while Mirajane was donning her [Satan Soul Take Over]. Then, as if it was planned, they both took off at the same time and followed Alfonzo and Elicia towards the building.

"No Fair!" Natsu shouted from within the crowd of Fairy Tail wizards. "I wanna go, too. Happy! Let's---"

"Natsu, you should stay and guard Lucy." Alfonzo said from the air. "If you do, I guarantee you'll get a pretty fun fight."

Hearing the words fun fight, Natsu's eyes lit up for a moment. Then, his expression turned rather conflicted. He really wanted to rampage in the big building. But at the same time, he wanted to protect his friend. Then, there was the mention of the fun fight Alfonzo talked about.

Eventually, Natsu made his decision and ran off in the direction where he could smell Lucy's scent. In fact, as soon as everyone noticed the Phantom Lord flag on top of the walking building, Reedus used his [Picto Magic] to animate a giant boar, threw Lucy on top of it before jumping on himself, and ran towards one of Fairy Tail's safehouses as fast as he could. So, Lucy was not currently with the rest of the guild.

A few moments later, Alfonzo and Elicia stepped into the opening in the Phantom Lor HQ's external wall. When they did, the first thing they saw was a giant, rechargeable lacrima that was clearly powering the entire building.

"I want it…" Alfonzo muttered. "I don't know what I'd use it for… But I'm sure I could find a use for it."

"Then, let's just take it." Elicia replied with a shrug. "It's not like Phantom Lord will need it after today."

"I'm afraid I can't let you do that." A male voice said from the other side of the lacrima.

With the voice, the sound of footsteps could be heard. And it was clear that they were walking around the lacrima and making their way towards Alfonzo and Elicia. Once the owner of the footsteps had walked around the lacrima and was finally in view, Alfonzo and Elicia saw a young man with two toned hair wearing reddish-orange shinobi attire and a katana on his hip.

"Oh, it's Totomaru of the Element 4." Elicia said uncaringly. "You don't have the firepower to stop us."

"We'll never know unless we try." Totomaru said, drawing his sword from its sheath.

Just before Totomaru could rush forward, however, Erza and Mirajane flew in through the same opening Alfonzo and Elicia used. While Mirajane landed next to Alfonzo and Elicia, Erza's eyes lit up when she saw the sword wielding enemy in front of her. So, she increased her speed and flew straight towards Totomaru.

*Clang!*

Hastily, Totomaru raised his katana to block Erza's slash. However, since he was not properly prepared for the attack, he ended up sliding backward due to the force behind it.

"I hope you are as good with that sword as I think you are." Erza said, readying her stance. "for I shall be your opponent."

"And while you do that… Yoink!" Alfonzo muttered as he raised his hand toward the lacrima.

With Alfonz's hand gesture, the pipes connected to the lacrima, that no doubt moved its energy around the structure, were disconnected one by one.

"No, I won't let you do this!" Totomaru shouted as he charged towards Alfonzo.

"I said… I am your opponent." Erza said as she appeared in front of Totomaru.

"Out of my way!" Totomaru said as he slashed his katana horizontally.

With little effort, Erza raised her own sword to block Totomaru's slash.

"[Blue Fire]." Totomaru chanted just as the two blades were about to collide.

*Clang!*

At the same time, just as the blades collided, Totomaru's blade was covered in a frost blue flame, which immediately started to cover Erza's blade in a thin sheen of ice.

Before Erza could even tell what was wrong, her instincts flared and she kicked Totomaru in the abdomen, causing him to fly back in the direction he came from.

Landing on his feet a little ways away, Totomaru quickly fell to one knee and coughed up a mouthful of blood. Meanwhile, Erza inspected her sword, surprised to see that part of her blade had been frozen over.

"How curious." Erza said with intrigue flashing in her eyes. "I've never seen acold flame before."

"Oh, I have." Alfonzo said from behind Erza. "I think it was on my first S-Class quest."

"Anyway, it's time to stop messing around, Red." Mirajane said, some of her old mannerisms reappearing. "We don't have all day to watch you play with this guy."

"Okay, I understand." Erza said, turning her attention from her partially frozen sword to Totomaru.

"You'll pay for looking down on me." Totomaru said as he stood up. "I am Totomaru of the Element 4…"

"Yeah, I said that like two minutes ago." Elicia muttered.

"… an S-Class wizard of Phantom Lord. [Rainbow Fire]."

With Totomaru's chant, his katana was covered in a rainbow colored flame. Then, he started charging at Erza once again.

At the same time, Erza extended the wings on her armor and rushed at Totomaru at a much higher speed than she had shown today.

"I never look down on my opponents." Erza said as she flew. "And I'll prove that right now. [Moon Flash]."

*Clang!*

In the next instant, Erza and Totomaru flashed past each other. Then, they stopped, still in their post attack postures. A moment later, Totomaru's katana split in the middle of its blade and clattered to the floor while an X-shaped gash opened up on his chest.

"Damn… I lost." Totomaru muttered before falling to the floor in a pool of his own blood.

"That's pretty much how I expected that to go." Alfonzo muttered while looking down at Totomaru. "Still, the guy wasn't weak. But Erza was just that much stronger."

Elicia and Mirajane nodded in response. Then, Elicia took a few steps forward, creating bandages as she went.

"Well, we better take care of this guy's wounds, don't need him dying on us." Elicia said. "The only one who deserves death in this building is Jose Porla."

With that, both Alfonzo and Elicia's auras darkened while they both wore smiles filled with malice.
