Chapter 73: Talks with Guild Mates (3)

The Fantasia Parade or the Harvest Festival is going to be beginning soon enough since Fairy Tail got the job request from the Mayor of Magnolia.

The Harvest Festival is an event held in Magnolia Town. It is hosted by the Fairy Tail Guild and it occurs once a year starting on October 15th.

The Miss Fairy Tail Contest is a beauty contest among all the women of Fairy Tail. The winner of the contest gets a reward of 500,000 Jewel. Members of the guild, citizens of Magnolia, and visitors from other towns gather at the Fairy Tail Guild building to see the show.

I just can't wrap my head around Mavis going off and showing off her body for the world to see for extra cash…

She knows I can't hide a whole population of dead bodies or my anger might go through the roof.

"Hahaha!"

Laughing at that bad joke she wanted to have fun and fun she shall get just hope she gets used to turning into stone but then again, I wonder what Lauxus and his group are going to do?

Not once I have seen that brat promising the pain he would get with my Fist of LOVE. He needs some personal teachings right away.

Currently, I'm back at my home as Mavis has been spending some time hanging out with girls as she seems to finally have some girl talk with others than with Rita or a few of our guy friends we had.

*Knock*

Listening to knocking sounds at my door I raised an eyebrow at this as I went towards the door opened it and greeted the guest, "Hello there to what do I owe – Cana fancy meeting you come to me here."

The person who came to me is Cana a tall and slim tanned-skinned young woman with an ample bust. She has mid-back-length brown hair with varying shades of color, having been seen as bright brown, black, and, ultimately, plain brown. Two shoulder-length strands of hair frame her face, with the left one starting from a prominent, high fringe.

She possesses a very voluptuous figure, with large breasts and curvy hips, which, over time, steadily become more defined. Her black Fairy Tail stamp is located on the lower left part of her abdomen, right above her hips. Cana's fingernails, while usually shown to be cut back and uncolored, are sometimes kept long and adorned by nail polish of different colors.

And the reason why 30% of the Guild Money budget going down her throat about wasting Makarov's money.

Poor guy…

She should've been running him dry sooner.

But returning my attention to Cana suddenly appearing I gestured her inside asking her a question about her appearance, "Come in. Come in. Are there any reasons why you came here to me today?"

At this Cana sighs as she began to reply taking a seat at my table for her reason being here today, "Yeah… Mavis told me you might help me with my Card Magic. You promised to help out when you have the chance remember?"

Ah…

Right, I did promise her that when I came back didn't I?

Guess it must have slipped my mind as I sat down to discuss with her with an embarrassed blush on my face, "Oh right! Shoot. I'm sorry I kind of forgot about it I apologize for not talking about this sooner. Ahem! Now that we do what do you want to discuss?"

Listening to my words Cana gets straight to the point about getting stronger using her primary Magic Card, "Sigh… I wanted to ask how powerfully you make your cards. From what I hear from Mavis she says that you play around with that Magic style. But you are totally one-shot Twilight Lord with one card. I was hoping you would tell me your secret?"

Smirking at this I took out one of my Magic Cards revealing to be Enchanted showing off getting her attention, "Well… while I use the normal standards of Magic Cards. I create my own blank cards and use my Enchants to boost their effects. Here's this one."

Giving her my Enchanted Magic Blank Card Cana looks over it observing it from all over as I explain my Enchants on it, "This one is boosted with the effects of Maximize allowing the Magic Spell to be at their maximized output but in return, you use up all your Magic Power to do it."

Cana looked at me crazy which is normal.

Because when a Wizard loses their Magic Power in one spell it causes Magic Deficiency Disease a term that refers to when a Mage is rapidly deprived of their Ethernano, causing them to contract an illness.

Magic Deficiency Disease causes the recipient to fall ill from the rapid loss of their Magic Power, which can either be from using a massive amount all at once or having it drained from another person.

In dire cases, the disease can cause death if deprived enough of their Ethernano. Cures for this disease include potions and medicines to replenish Magic.

But then I explained further my reasoning for why I went this pathway to her as she listens more closely, "While it's crazy and guarantees to cause me to get the Magic Deficiency Disease the payoff is big enough to try. The Magic Card will be able to absorb any Magic Attack inside the pocket dimension with the Card Conversion Spell since it's useless to the Caster if they are hostile towards you… but if it were an attack through itself…"

Cana's eyes widen lightly getting the idea as she leans back her arms crossed contemplating my idea but bites her thumb pointing an issue, "Yeah… if I use all my Magic Power like that it would be a big gain for one card… but I don't know enchants nor would it be cost-effective. Buying new Magic Cards is easy but each time and medical cost though…"

Right.

Nodding my head I decided to give her my secret as I took another card from my Requip space with my Archive screen popping up, "You would be right. Even without Enchants just doing it manually is hard enough. I devised my own cheat system to never pay another Magic Card again. Look here this card is the exact same copy from the Jupiter Cannon attack but maximized."

Cana's eyes widen at this and cried out in pure shock looking at my card, "WAIT WHAT!! YOU STILL HAVE THAT HOW?!"

Showing her how I placed the card on the screen as it began to convert the magic into data Cana watches as I explain, "Since Archive Magic allows to turn Magic Power into data. I thought hey why not I try to convert my magic cards into data… and reverse it to create more digitalized cards of the same effect using my Magic Power to store them?"

Cana's eyes widen as she saw the card I traded into data and reverse the process taking out the original and two more copies of the same card as screens as I replied, "Of course, it reuses my Magic Power but with Archive Magic I can transfer just enough and restart the download process needed. Effectively it will rely on the caster to fuel it but all you need is imprint it with the original and you have infinite Magic Cards that rely on your Magic Power."

Cana looked at me mouth agape as I returned my Magic Cards away as I talked further if she was interested in learning Enchantment, "If you are, interested I can lend you some tips on how to use Enchant to boost your Magic Cards and Deck. I happen to be quite the High Enchant class myself to help you out."

She blinks at this for a bit before she finally replied to me about my method of using Enchantments on herself, "I… sigh… are you sure you're fine with me learning your magic though? I mean isn't important for most mages to keep their trump cards to themselves yah know?"

At this, I laughed at her reply as I made my rebuttal against her words wiping a tear off my face of how funny it sounded to me, "Hahaha! Sure, in most cases, it would be but for me, if it means helping another member out then I don't mind. Besides, I'll teach you some supporting and debuff enchants to your cards. Trust me it will be fun."

Cana smirks at this as she agrees to let me teach her my style I couldn't help but be glad at this outcome and that someone like her coming to me to learn.

Out of all the Fairy Tail mages Cana's potential is big if given the right time to train her craft and I will guide her to what she wants correctly that's for sure. After all, she's Gildarts kid and that fucker is strong.

As noted by Mavis, Cana possesses high amounts of latent Magic Power. When using Fairy Glitter on the Magic Power Finder, she was capable of surpassing Jura Neekis' own score, overloading the device with her power as she did so.

More testament to her power is when she was able to use Fairy Glitter multiple times in an attempt and succeeded in freeing Mavis' body from a Lacrima.

And if she learns other forms of magic like support or anything else I can guarantee that her potential will shine brightly if given the chance to grow.

"So…."

Getting my attention she had a sheepish smile on her face that I suddenly felt a chill crawl down my spine, "Mavis said that you happen to have a personal wine or Ale cellar. Is it okay if we take a quick drink to get –"

"Enchant: Sleep."

*THUD*

Like that, the poor drunk girl was knocked out cold as I hear Mavis coming inside with a cheerful smile on her face, "Hey Rou! I got invited to try out the Miss Fairy –what happened to her?"

She paused looking at Cana knocked out cold by my Enchant Sleep on her as Mavis eyes me before getting the picture, "She asked for booze."

Hearing that I instantly replied back to Mavis of her reply, "She asked for booze."

With a sigh escaping her mouth she used Telekinesis Magic to send her home talking to me as she left, "Sigh… I'll go take her back then. I heard you agree to teach her, but that sleep enchantment might take a while for her to wake up. By then I'm assuming you'll relocate it?"

Nodding my head as I replied with a popping sound at the end of my word, "Yup!"

Like that, she left as I was left as I'm left to my own devices again. Just to be sure place multiple traps for my wine cellar and treats.

Explosive Magic should scare off those buggers if they value their hands. Hehehe…
