Chapter 72: Talks with Guild Mates (2)

~Rou POV~

Just when I thought things will end after some sightseeing is when I hear something surprising from that old dragon causing me to freeze up.

When Natsu was content was when I hear Atlas Flame offer something to which I was surprised, "In that case young Dragon Slayer… it would be an honor to teach you my Hell Flame Dragon Slayer Magic. You are Fire King Dragon Igneel's son you are a friend to me. I wish to pass this on to someone who will make use of it."

Natsu for his part looked surprised but then smirked with him shaking his head surprising me furthermore, "Nah. For the time being uncle I have friends to return to back home. But I'll take you up on your offer in the future."

"U—Uncle?"

This is probably the first I see Atlas Flame stutter in surprise but regardless shook his head as he actually has a request for us, "I-I see. In that case, would it be alright if I request a small favor from both of you?"

Hmm…?

Getting our attention immediately Atlas Flame began to talk to us about a small favor for him to do as were here as he lays down, "I request that you take one of my people to learn about the world. She is a human that the Giants took care of growing up our way of life. She's learned from us but nothing about the world."

Now where have I heard about this background from someone…

That was when it clicked in my head as I see a teenage girl coming over as Atlas Flame introduced us to her, "What I wish is for you a lot to take this young one to the world and learn about the human world. She's been sheltered here her whole life I wish for her to yearn to learn about the world."

The teenage girl in question is a pale-skinned young teen of average height with long, dark red hair, which is usually worn in a pair of massive waist-length braids that are tied together behind her back.

Flare Corona.

I forgot that she actually lives here but should be a teenager at this time before growing up in the 7 years as a young woman. She shyly motions over stammering a bit fearful of us, "I—I sorry… but-t is our-r lord ok with you taking us to learn about-t the w-world?"

Right…

At a young age, Flare was found and raised by the giants of the Sun Village. Later on, as a blessing of the Eternal Flame, Flare received the ability to manipulate her hair in any way she wished.

That might've actually been a time when she was taught Magic from Atlas Flame since she has talent in Hair Magic. However, as time progressed Flare noticed the obvious difference between herself and the giants and decided to leave and travel to meet others the same size as her.

Her lack of knowledge about the outside world made her fearful though, and upon meeting the members of Raven Tail she joined them happily, oblivious to their malicious personalities and unnatural hatred towards Fairy Tail; something she assumed was just natural and common for people outside her village.

Natsu was confused but replied with a happy grin on his face about Flare, "Really uncle? In that case nice to meet you then! I'm Natsu Dragneel and this Happy. Nice to meet yah!"

Happy in his iconic flying wings replied happily enough, "Aye, sir!"

Laughing at this seeing her step back I calmed down as I walk towards her with calming aura around myself to make her feel safe, "I see so this is who old friend? In that case, it's a pleasure to meet you miss. I'm Rou Ake and we're members of Fairy Tail and an old friend of Atlas Flame here. It would be an honor to teach her."

Flare then introduces herself feeling a bit more confident and happier with us helping her out in this endeavor, "Oh…! Do you know our lord as friends? In that case, it should be fine to trust you all yes. I'm Flare Corona please take care of me."

That, it seems like Fairy Tail is growing more and more each and every day.

Raven Tail…

I should probably do something about them soon enough here in the present or in the future to take care of such pests. But for now, I'm not in a complete rush for that mess.

Guess it's time to return home but not before getting some Ale mead from Sun Village they hit the good stuff greatly for a buzz in my throat.

"Ahhhh!"

"That's the good stuff!"

"This Sun Ale is good!"

Returning back after 3 days of traveling Sun Village to the guild and returning some of the good stuff back, I managed to get Mavis to teach Flare everything she could about the guild.

And adding the fact she brought her into her friend circle with the girls it would be best be them to properly teach her how the world works from their experience.

Natsu and Happy took a job like usual I took this time to drink a bit since I know for a fact that alcohol doesn't work for me anymore unless it's the strong stuff like Ale mead from the Giants.

They give me the right buzz since they have larger organs than humans so usually a small pike of it is enough for a human to get drunk immediately unless they are a heavy alcoholic of course.

And never letting Cana ever go near my Ale cellar in our old home that Future Levy kept safe and clean after her departure from this world into the afterlife.

Taking another swig of my mug of ale down my throat as I keep myself calm, "Ah… this right here is the good stuff in Sun Village boys. It doesn't take a weakling to stand this much alcohol to make you drunks well drunk."

Currently, I'm sitting down at the table with my fellow drinking buddies Makarov, Macao, and Wakaba as they all enjoy the Giant Ale but aren't completely drunk probably because they are used to drinking.

The one to reply first was Macao getting a good drink of Giant's Ale complementing it, "Oh shit. That's the real good stuff Rou. Feeling the buzz but not enough to take me out. You got to not hold this stuff back."

Wakaba smacks his friend over his back as he commented on the drink with my new drinking buddies, "Yeah man this really good stuff! Think you can ask your friend in Sun Village to trade more of this Giant's Ale?"

Shrugging at the question I gave my honest reply to him pondering the thought about it in a halfhearted tone, "Maybe. I happened to be good friends with their Lord or Eternal Flame taking in Flare that joined. Poor thing is afraid of everyone hopefully my loving wife Mavis helps her more than I do. I'm not suitable for it. Heck even Makarov here is more suited to it than I am in the matter."

Wakaba merely shrugs off my comment as Makarov takes another mug with no issue replying to me happily, "Ah… this is good. But to your question young man, you don't sell yourself short being a good instructor. But then again I do have the experience you whippersnapper lack."

My eye twitched at that comment.

But his true though that I lack the experience to counter his words.

I mean at least HIS the old man in this situation.

Shrugging off his words though Macao asked me an interesting question as I raised an eyebrow to his question, "Say Rou, right? Are you and Mavis like learned people? You know got to learn in schools with backing or noble background?"

Stifling a laugh I took a bottle of Giant's Ale pouring another drink as I reply to Macao's words while pouring for him, "Not exactly per se. I and Mavis have been together more than you both would know. But I truly met her when we were, I think 4 or 5 years old with her old guild – actually nah. I won't say more than that. It's a private matter."

Feeling somber I shut up those thoughts as Wakaba nods in understanding holding his hand up as Macao frowns and flinches, "Sorry man. Didn't mean for you to spill something bad happening to you."

Shaking my head in understanding I replied with a smile on my face taking another swing of my mug of Giant's Ale, "Nah. It's no problem man. But returning to your earlier question though Mavis and I had 7 years to learn from our library and our home island what about the outside world? It was only then settlers came around on our island that we took the chance to leave and learn about the world. And after that, we became a duo, and then lovers. All we're missing is a wedding and baby on the way."

Macao nods in understanding, Wakaba shrugging it off not caring about it, and Makarov nodding about my plans for my future with Mavis.

Macao merely grinned happily as he suggests that I teach his kid what I knew to learn about the world, "Yeah… say Rou I have a kid name Romeo and I take missions all for him to be in those schools. Think in your spare time can you teach him and provide more options in the world? You wouldn't happen to take any time off to teach him any experience you have, right?"

Smirking at that I do recall not everyone here is educated in a way.

Schools seem like to only provide those who have financial aid to pay the bills or those stuck-up nobles who need to have their kid learn about education about the world.

Times like these really make me glad I took Edwards' memories of his Gate, my own school education, and a fundamental understanding of how modern education knowledge.

But then again why would those in power would allow those to usurp their monarchy if those who were against them would be smarter than them?

It would change the whole class system of how the world as of Earthland today changes completely.

Nodding my head, I replied to Macao if I had free time but considering his already in school, he won't need me, but some fresh hand experience is always important to learn after all.

Just another day and life in Fairy Tail.

But I should do something about researching Spirit Arts and Curse Energy soon enough along with finding a way to break down the DNA genetic code of how to properly use Dragon Seeds from Natsu and Erza.

Got their hair strands during the Tower of Heaven without them noticing and started small-scale research of dealing with the Dragon Seed influence.

Although that could be researched at another time.

Then again I should probably just hurry and create the Dragon seed of a Sage Dragon Slayer from Erza's hair strand, alone as my base then use my Philosopher Stone on it to transmute it into a Dragon Seed or possibly a fruit to devour easily with Copy Magic from that owl thing when I downloaded his Magic from Archive.

Could save me the trip being crystalized into a Lacrima in the Edolas Arc.
