Chapter 25: Knowledge
~Rou POV~
"Whew…"
Sweating a bit as I wipe the beads of sweat off my body, I have been rather busy as of late making sure our Guild base is safely enchanted making me work a lot.
But it will be worth it once Mavis knows this place can act as a recovery center for those baring our Guild Emblem to receive this effect.
Still, it's amazing after a few months of getting recognized by the legal guilds.
Working on the First and Second Floor of Fairy Tail with enchants has its work cut out for me but if it's to make them feel more welcomed I don't mind.
After the first beginning of Fairy Tail with Mavis having our little adventure we finally began to gather some members after what we did here in Magnolia spread like wildfire of our joint efforts that gathered some attention.
So, the Guild is busy as ever, but the rumors though are very concerning…
I smell an upcoming War is coming as I try to use my Archive Magic to tell me if such an event occurred which it did.
The Second Trade War is merely on the horizon about 2 months from now to July is when it really begins.
Around this time, many differing feudal lords began to struggle over the trading rights of the country, wherein it culminated in the Second Trade War beginning, even including mercenary Mages and Guilds taking sides in the battle.
But that won't happen till another 2 years into the future when Wizard Guilds will have to participate in the year of February X688.
I recall the war lasting 4 years before it finally came to an end.
Sigh…
One threat down and an extremely bigger one came knocking down on us when we finally created this Guild.
I swear Fairy Tail is a curse having to deal with threats bigger than the country of Fiore or is it Kingdom?
Shaking my head though it's still a long way ahead to be concerned about that right now since I have free time to help Mavis out with the paperwork alongside Precht to make things easier for her.
That and I need to be sure everything is in an orderly fashion and well prep supplies for the upcoming Second Trade War since most items are going to be off limits once the Feudal Lords start their War.
"Hey Rou!"
Hearing the voice of Precht I looked down as I replied making my Enchants, "Yeah Precht! Need something?"
He nods as he replies as I work on making the Enchants on the Guild's First Floor, "Yeah. Need to check up on how the Enchants working on the Guild!"
Smiling replying to Precht as I jump down from the second floor, upside down as I land on my feet making this quick, "Sure. The Enchants I made is basically fast recovery so long as the people here use their Magic. But otherwise, a work in progress how's the request board?"
Precht jabs his finger at the group of wizards happily taking jobs as he curt a response, "Well so far. Enough to keep us out of any budget reserves with the number of people in Magnolia supporting us."
Nodding my head at this it was because of my effort saving the Elder of Magnolia at the time making it possible for the people to easily trust us.
Have to say hard work is good work.
And since I have the time it's about time I do something about that Dragon Skeleton and absorb its Magic ability for myself.
Waving to Precht saying I'll be at my private lab busy with my Alchemy and Magic studies he nodded warning me to not stay cooped up inside.
Like that, I went towards the Basement level of our Guild and enter a secret pathway that can only be opened by me or Mavis as we both use it in our spare time experimenting and learning new Magic.
Hell Mavis is still trying to study the Law spell Zeref gave to her when we trained and thank god she didn't use it otherwise I wouldn't know what to do.
Anyway as I entered deep down the pathway lit up with Lacrima light walking down the stairway I finally reached my personal safe haven.
And finally seeing the bones of the Dragon that was once on top of the Kardia Cathedral along with my own private plant plantation of herbs I need for my medicine.
Since I have the time how about I see my progression going?
Ah…
My small plantation under the Guild along with keeping the Dragon Bones that was on the Kardia Cathedral my secret area.
But that wasn't what I was here for today oh no.
I'm here to finally experiment with some of the bone marrow of the Dragon so that I can gain its magic gradually over time or not.
That is today's question, isn't it?
Magic is a supernatural force that occurs regularly in everyday life, is used as tools, and is bought and sold all over the world. It is also the main form of art or combat utilized by Mages.
It is possible for Mages to transfer their Magic Power to another. The more magic they receive, the stronger the spells they cast become, capable of feats that would be impossible when done alone.
It was also stated by Bluenote Stinger that it is possible to take over another Mage's Magic, even after they are dead. This was never shown as the Dark Mage was stopped by Gildarts Clive before he could initiate the process.
I'm going to need Dragon Slayer Magic from these dead bones of one.
Dragon Slayer Magic…
When one thinks of this one would assume many things about this so-called Ancient and Lost Magic.
Well…
In my past life, I know of a few means to unlock or obtain Dragon Slayer Magic.
Dragon Slayer Magic is a Caster-Type Ancient Spell and Lost Magic utilized by both Dragons and Dragon Slayers that was created by Irene Belserion for use in the Dragon King Festival.
Dragon Slayer Magic is a type of Lost Magic that allows its users to transform their physical bodies into a Dragon.
As a result, the user can transform their body with features of their respective element, utilizing both offensive and defensive styles.
A Dragon Slayer is immune to the effects or hindrance of their own element, even if it is reflected back at them with greater power, and can consume external sources of their element to replenish their strength.
However, a Dragon Slayer cannot consume the element that they produce themselves, and elements must be consumed through the mouth.
It is known that Dragon Slayers have been able to consume elements other than their own, allowing them to combine both elements into one inside their bodies and use them to increase their abilities.
Dragon Slayer Magic is the only way to kill, or even hurt Dragons, who are shown to be mostly unaffected by other forms of Magic.
There are five natural ways one can learn Dragon Slayer Magic, outside of unnaturally being enchanted with the Lost Magic through a Dragon Slayer Seal:
The first way is one must be taught by an actual Dragon. The ones who learned their Dragon Slayer Magic through this method are referred to as First Generation Dragon Slayers.
The second way is one must have Dragon Lacrima implanted into their body. The ones who learned their Dragon Slayer Magic through this method are referred to as Second Generation Dragon Slayers.
The third way is a combination of the first two methods: ones who both learned their Dragon Slayer Magic by receiving the teachings of a Dragon and also having Lacrima implanted into their body. The ones who learned how to perform Dragon Slayer Magic by utilizing both methods are referred to as Third Generation Dragon Slayers.
The fourth way one can learn Dragon Slayer Magic is through self-taught.
The fifth way is for them to consume a Dragon's flesh or an actual Dragon Slayer. The ones who learn Dragon Slayer through this method are referred to as Fifth Generation Dragon Slayers.
That was the main reason I kept these bones of the Dragon for this moment of eating the bones.
Of course, breaking them would be hard since not even Magic could do the job I mean they are magic resistant even to the bones it's ridiculous…
*Zzzz*
*Creak*
But they aren't Alchemy-proof.
Breaking a small portion of the bone and destroying it into small pieces of crumbs will take a while to see if this process works but slow and steady to see any changes in my Magic Power or if the knowledge process is instant to learn.
But…
Sigh…
Placing the bone pieces aside I have to figure out how to deal with the turning into a dragon problem and mental issues of it first.
One step at a time, just one step at a time.
There's no need to rush for power I have time to understand it through the use of experiments to see how and what weakness of the Dragon's skeletal structures.
Regardless though the Enchantments I placed on the guild should hold strong for a long while at least.
At least I hope so…
After all, everyone created a home for our future members to return to with all the love, sweat, and tears going through it.
I'll make sure it last as long as it can.

~Third POV~
[X???]
"Ffffzzzz…."
The sounds of burning fire were left of what remained of the original Fairy Tail that was once the center of town to now a destroyed state of its former self…
Everything of all the spells collected and memories gone in a flash under the dragon attacks as it was long since abandoned leaving behind a former shell of its glory…
"ROOAARR!!!!"
The roars of dragons terrorizing the lands could be heard with the former state of Magnolia reduced in shambles.
Deep underground in the Fairy Tail Guild lies Mavis Vermillion unconscious state of a child cursed 13 years old in her ghostly form standing by appearing to have dead eyes of defeat on them not wishing to see the outside world after the release of the dragons…
*BDMP*
*SHIII*
Soon enough a small blue wave of the Space Between Time effect of Rou's existence changed the course of history…
The Ghost of Future Mavis's eyes shot wide open sensing the change immediately going up to see in disbelief at what's occurring in front of her eyes.
The once-destroyed Fairy Tail guild soon reconstructed into its original form with red runes and enchantments swirling around as if it hasn't been activated in a very long time now…
Confusion was evident on her face as she didn't realize that her Fairy Tail emblem began to faintly glow as Enchantment runes began to unwind around giving off a red color as her eyes widen at the news, "One of my fairies is near the temporary old guild base? But I don't recognize these Enchants…"
Unaware at the time Future Mavis didn't realize her body was that of an adult no longer of a child due to the results of the past changing…
