07-The Arrival

Magnolia is one of the major city located in the Kingdom of Fiore.

Magnolia has a population of 60,000 inhabitants, and is a merchant city that has been prosperous in Magic since the ancient era.

Such reputation was supported by the fact that the town, houses the strongest guild in Fiore, Fairy Tail.

Currently, in the Magnolia station, Orzel and Hana who had just arrived in Magnolia were looking at the city map present in the station.

Only Orzel was looking at the map.

Hana was looking around the station with a pink colored bunny bag on her shoulders, which contained her clothes.

Orzel could have stored it all in his space ring, but Hana insisted on carrying it on her own.

'We should stay in a hotel for now, and then buy a house near the guild.'

'Joining the guild can come later.'

'This Hotel Latham sounds good place to stay at.'

"Hana, let's go to a hotel now."

Orzel looked at Hana who was busy inspecting the station.

The Magnolia station was much bigger than the Oshibana station, so it wasn't a surprise that Hana was eagerly looking around.

"Daddy, Where are we now?"

"We are in Magnolia right now, It will be our home for the upcoming years, so remember the name alright."

Orzel picked Hana up in his arms before moving towards the exit.

"Magnolia is a big city in the Kingdom of Fiore."

"And Fiore means flower."

"Hana's name also means flower."

"So it could be considered Hana's kingdom."

Orzel smiled at Hana who was shocked listening to his statement.

"Hana has a kingdom!"

"Does that mean Hana is a princess?!"

Hana had her mouth opened wide, she really believed what Orzel said to be true.

'Kids are really easy to fool.'

Orzel was amused looking at her reaction.

"Yes, Hana is daddy's princess."

Orzel smiled and patted her head.

She really was his princess.

After some time they were now standing in front of Hotel Latham.

It was a tall building with five floors.

The exterior was composed out of bricks and wood with a miniature sign hanging on the front reading "HOTEL LATHAM".

Hana's eyes were glowing with excitement, since it was her first time seeing such a tall building.

Orzel didn't say anything and went inside with Hana in his arms.

He wasn't much surprised since he had been to bigger and better buildings before.

This one could be considered average.

The interior of the hotel consisted of a lobby with a front desk, three red couches on the side to wait at with a table in the middle and a large staircase to go upstairs.

Behind the front desk, a middle aged man could be seen standing dressed in formal suits.

He was the receptionist.

"Welcome sir, How may I help you?"

The receptionist bowed a little when he saw Orzel approaching,

Not many people could be seen in the hotel lobby, most of them were staff members.

"Hello, I would like to rent a room for some time."

"Yes, it will be 20,000 jewels per night for a single night in single-bed room and 30,000 jewels for a double-bed room."

"The room services are included in the pay."

The receptionist didn't dare to be negligent since Orzel looked to be someone important and a strong mage cause of his temperament.

A strong person was respected wherever they go.

"I'll take the single-bed room."

Orzel didn't care about the respectful receptionist and wanted to enter to enter the room fast since Hana was quite sleepy and had been yawning for some time.

"Yes, How should I register you as?"

"Orzel Demonio."

The receptionist finished the registration process quickly and handed over the room keys to Orzel.

"Here are your keys, Your room is No.302."

"Thanks."

Orzel didn't say much and went towards the large staircase after paying the rent.

'Whew.'

The receptionist sighed in relief when he saw Orzel walking away.

He was quite nervous in front him but he was a professional in his job and didn't show it in his face.

"Wonder which guild he is from."

The receptionist was confused since he had never heard about anyone like Orzel.

Orzel didn't know what was going on with the receptionist.

He didn't care anyway.

Orzel didn't have to search for long and soon found room no.302.

He opened the door and Hana who had nearly fallen asleep had her eyes snapped up open when she saw the bed in the room.

"Big bed!"

She jumped out of Orzel's arms and into the bed and started jumping on it messing up the sheets in the process.

Orzel just let her be and took a look around the room.

The room's floor had a green and tan checkered floor design, a single bed with green sheets and table with a lamp on top.

The room had glass door which connected to the balcony and another door which connected to the bathroom.

A standard hotel room.

"Oy, Hana do you wan-"

Orzel saw Hana was already asleep on the bed.

He just smiled at her before joining her to sleep.

The next day.

Orzel had decided to look for a real estate agent to see some houses.

He wanted to have his own house before joining the guild.

"Daddy! Let's go around the town."

Hana had other plans though, she wanted to play around the town since Magnolia was much bigger than Oshibana.

Hana was very excited and wanted to go out immediately.

"Alright."

Orzel wouldn't deny Hana's wishes anyway.

So, they decided to roam around the city.

It would be good to familiarize themselves with the city.

'The house could come later.'

Orzel readied Hana before going out while carrying her.

He didn't want her to get lost in a big place like Magnolia.

For the rest of the day they just went around and had fun at different tourist sites of Magnolia.

Hana specially liked South gate park and Magnolia cake shop.

Orzel had to buy a lot of cakes before Hana was satisfied.

He was worried about her teeth but he could take care of that with some basic spells.

It wasn't until the sun was set that they were finally done playing around.

Hana was tired from all the running around and was now sleeping in his arms.

'Tomorrow let's get the house first, and then go to Fairy Tail.'

'I remember the anime was quite famous for its fanservice.'

Orzel was worried that Hana might be badly influenced when she grew up.

He didn't care about what she would wear in the future, but about how some bastards might ogle at Hana.

Who would want their daughters getting lustful looks.

'If anybody dares..'

Orzel's eyes were extremely cold and he was unknowingly releasing his magic power.

This caused the surrounding people to fall unconscious one by one.

"Oops!"

Orzel came to his senses and stopped channeling his magic.

Good thing the victims were just unconscious and not dead.

'I gotta control myself in the future.'

'I don't want to accidentally kill people.'

But he didn't mind killing someone who had ideas about Hana.
