Waking up, I found myself in a hospital bed. From my surroundings, I could tell that I was in Neo York City Central Hospital.

To my right were a bowl of fruit and some flowers.

It didn't take long for me to notice that I couldn't move my legs, not one bit.

Hell, I couldn't even feel my legs, but at least my shoulder seemed fine.

'Shit shit, me and my "what's the worst that could happen" getting shot by a mystery man and not feeling my body from the waist down, that's the worst that could happen'.

'Fuck I really should have tested it on someone else. Well too late now. Hopefully, I'll be able to recover quickly and get back to training. For something so bad to happen I surely must have gotten the karma of a serial killer, the karmic value I got must be something like [-500,00].

The door to my hospital room opened and a doctor came in.

'That's absurd to think Karma Randomization kept me alive thru all that'

The doctor reached into his pocket, took out a note, and gave it to me.

"Okay... Anyways, doctor how long was I out for and when will I be able to walk again"

"You have been out for exactly twenty-two days and eight hours so slightly more than three weeks... Your condition is fully stable, hell get yourself a wheelchair and you are free to go... However, I'm afraid you might never walk again. You see the arrow that hit you in the waist exploded, you were almost separated into two parts, so your nervous system got heavily damaged. There is still hope for recovery as your legs are still alive and your heart is pumping blood into them, but physical and mana therapy aren't going to cut it. I believe your cure has to come from external sources, such as an Elixir or anything of the sort, I am not too educated in dungeon drops."

"You can't be serious right... An Elixir, no offense doctor but are you insane? Last time I checked those things are as rare as legendary ability cores if not even rarer. The last time an Elixir was sold it made the global news because it was sold for a whopping 5 Trillion Đ. And it's not like I can just find one in a dungeon because there are no more dungeons"

I got myself a wheelchair and the second I stepped out of the hospital I called a certain man.
