Invidia

"Master. When you were reincarnated you wished for many things. The Miracle Box was one of them." Tikki started explaining why I was like this and why I had the Miraculouses themselves.

"What were the other wishes then?" I was confused, I had no recollection of anything beyond my death. It was just like a dream to me.

"They are all recorded in the tablet. However when you wished for them you requested that you needed to find out about yourself otherwise you would not grow stronger."

I nodded, that indeed did sound like me. I knew that if I relied on external objects too much I would not be able to survive much longer.

That was why the only thing I could use were the Miraculous Jewels. "Very well Tikki, you may go now."

She nodded and returned to her dormant state. I picked up the Horse Miraculous and wore them.

Without waiting for Kaalki to finish I yelled out. "Kaalki, Full Gallop!" I now had a full bodied brown suit with a horseshoe strapped to my back.

My hair was now a shade of dark brown in a ponytail. There were also multiple braided locks. A fashionable style that I did not even realise I liked at all.

I wore short heeled shoes with two wings in the side. It was quite strange as under the heels resembled a design similar to a horseshoe.

I put my right hand out forward and shouted. "Voyage!" My hands shot out a beam and a light blue portal appeared out of nowhere.

I took the tablet and box and stepped into the portal, I found myself in a desolate hall. I saw red carpeting faded away by time. Huge marble pillars covered in moss and vines could be seen entwining it.

Up on the stairs were two lavish yet aged thrones. It was an ancient castle. Gaia had found it for me.

"Dismount." I switched to the Butterfly Miraculous hastily and prepared to undo the transformation on Gaia.

The vines started to wriggle and condensed into a humanoid being. Clicking my fingers the Akuma was purified.

Gaia caught it once more and bought it to me. Handing over the tablet I infuse my power into the butterfly again.

Placing the Akuma into the tablet I started to speak. "Terraformer. I grant you the power to remodel your surroundings. Bring forth the artist within!"

Hazy smoke spread out infectiously, it covered the entire castle itself. The throne room returned to its natural state and was rid of any sign of old age.

It was new and sleek. It had a very modern and unique feel to it. The entire place was riddled with futuristic technology.

Hovering platforms, sliding doors and lock pads. The pads themselves seemed to contain an A.I. Terraformer had fused herself into the castle.

She was now the core of the entire place and was the reason it looked like this. I felt waves of satisfaction fill me.

I pressed on the pad and placed my palm print for recognition. The floor beneath me changed into a octagonal shape and started moving down.

I was going down to my lair. I arrived feeling surprised on how much it looks similar to the room Hawk Moth had. The room was large, dome-like and dark.

It had a large window with a butterfly (or flower) design that opened revealing multiple white butterflies that were hidden in the shadows.

I had Nooroo eat to restore his energy before bringing forth another Akuma. Then out of nowhere a deep sadness welled within my heart.

It was not mine, but another's sadness. It was a deep and forlorn love filled with sorrow and regret. "Ah, to lose the love of her life to another woman. How pitiful."

I had already transformed into Mariposa but this time I had another Miraculous on standby. The Ladybug Miraculous.

In order to see how the people of this world would react towards a powerful being and how they would handle it I had to be extremely vigilant in case anything went wrong.

That was why I had the earrings in case I needed to purify the Akuma before they killed my chosen champion.

"Go now creature of the dark! And mend her broken heart." All I needed to do now was wait.

"George! Wait for me!" A girl came running towards a tall and handsome man. "Oh? Sorry, I forgot!" He stopped midway of his walking and turned towards her.

"Sorry about that Lily. I did not see you coming." George laughed it out making Lily pout.

"Oh okay! I'll let it slide for now." Lily turned her face away feeling slightly angry about him.

However she knew that she wouldn't truly be angry with her, it was due to her feelings. She liked him but he was too dense to realise it.

They both chatted and walked around the city for a while before stopping. George had parted ways with her which made her slightly sad.

She decided that she would take her time today and just buy some soft bread. Going into the bakery she smelled the beautiful scent of fresh loaves.

Dusty flour lingered in the air causing her to cough a bit. This attracted the attention of Mr. Guette. He was the bakery's most experienced baker.

"Let me guess a loaf of bread and some savoury bites." She had frequented this shop for a bit which made the baker very familiar with her.

"Add a little honey this time. I have a small craving for sweets right now." Her favourite bread was the honey bread.

Mixed and folded gently into the dough the honey would permeate into the bread creating an extra added sweetness to it.

"Ah, good news we have collected the Golden Stinger Bees honey." Her eyes glowed and she started to drool in satisfaction.

Golden Stinger Bees cultivated the best honey as they were very picky about the quality of nectar resulting in fine honey.

The sweetness of it alluded many treasure hunters as they were a rare delicacy. The only way to gain the honey was through a special method.

This method was lost for decades and the only people that still used it were very little.

The Guette family was one of them. As she waited for her order she hummed a gentle song and looked out the window.

She inhaled the sweet air and breathed out. Watching people as they passed by. Then something caught her attention.

George was with another woman. She saw her rubbing her well endowed chest against his right arm.

Lily was shocked, she wished she had never seen this. An intense jealousy burned within her.

She wanted to destroy her at all cost. Tears dripped down her face as she took off her ruby earrings.

Clutching it within her hands a dark butterfly entered her palm. She raised her head as a butterfly mask went over her face.

"Invidia. Your love has been stolen away from you leaving you alone with nothing. I am granting you the opportunity to take it away from her. In return you must wreak havoc upon the kingdom."

A gentle yet alluring voice called out to her. She smirked and agreed to her request. "Let this world be trapped within darkness forever!"

Black smoke engulfed her body. As the smoke faded it revealed a grey skinned woman with long indigo hair wearing a headdress.

A silk veil covered her face and she wore black tight clothing that seemed to stick in her. A silk skirt tied around her waist with tiny stars on the silk representing her loneliness.

She tapped her low heeled boots and ran out at full speed flying into the sky. Her eyes glowed green as she raised her hands.

A giant sphere of energy came crashing down as they split into lances. The orb revolved growing and creating destruction wherever it trailed.

"I am Invidia. I have been gifted with powers beyond understanding. I shall now sacrifice those that believe in love."

In her current state Lily did not believe in love and felt that it was pointless. Mariposa was surprised that she would be so dangerous.

Her personality took a 180 switch. This was so much more embarrassing than the time she was caught reading BL.

If she knew that she had unleashed such a terrible monster out she would definitely have told anyone else that she had no relations to this person.

But this was no time to complain. It looked like she needed to use the Ladybug Miraculous after all.

Then she saw something. A man ran up to Invidia with no fear at all and shouted. "Lily! Is that you?!"

It was George, he realised who she truly was in the blink of an eye. Actually if you compare her voice and figure it was easy to figure out who it was.

George just had an amazing sixth sense. "Why are you doing this? No wait how are you doing this?!" Mariposa resisted the urge to slap him.

It was obvious she was in pain and you just ignored that? Feeling that it was going nowhere she clicked her fingers.

Lily fell to the ground and Tikki who had already awakened had used her Lucky Charm to restore the peace.

Even though it was short lived Invidia was an already powerful asset. Due to this she wondered how powerful her Akuma's could become.
