Li Lin the Tour Guide.

Han Li woke up early the next morning and hit the gym. He had never had the time for it previously and even some light exercises would have left him breathless and sweaty. But his Extreme Physique was something else.

The trainer taking him through the session was even starting to question if he had prior experience. Han Li could only say that he had always been athletic.

His stamina and strength were insane and he could press weights of up to 400 kg without breaking a sweat. He would have liked to press more, but it would not make much sense if he did that.

Imagine pressing weights equal to a world record holder with his lean body. It did not make sense.

Plus, that was not his objective. All he wanted to do was warm up and get into the habit of working out. It helped with discipline, or so he had heard.

It was also a good place to vent his excess energy. He did not have to worry about food and shelter, and neither did he have to report to work or anything like that. Han Li could see himself getting decadent if he did not form some sort of routine.

He left to get ready for his tour when it was time.

He had booked a week-long tour around Shangwei that cost him 56000 yuan and he did not want to miss it.

Despite staying in the city for years now, he had never really seen places. He was always busy and bound to a specific cycle that he would find difficult to break. Any chance that he would have got to do so was used to lick Mengmeng. What a disgrace?!

*RING*

"Hello, who is it?"

"Good morning, Mr. Han. I am with the tour agency, my name is Li Lin. I will be your tour guide for the week."

"Do you need something? It's thirty minutes before the scheduled time."

"There are a few things that I'd need to confirm before we start the tour."

"Alright. Ask away."

"Mr. Han, are you on a business trip or a tour?"

"A normal tour. Why?"

"I wanted to know if you'll be occupied with something else so that I can create some room for your convenience."

"That makes sense. I just want to tour Shangwei, and spend money. I'll be yours during the tour."

"Wonderful. Do have your own means of transport? A personal vehicle would be great especially this time of the year."

"I can arrange for one."

"Do you have any preference? A place you want to see or maybe a local specialty you want to taste?"

"I'll leave everything to Ms. Li to arrange. I have no particular preference for anything."

"Okay. Thank you, Mr. Han. Meet you in thirty minutes."

Han Li looked at the contact number and could not help but feel funny. The voice of the girl on the other side was… addicting. He had the urge to call her just to listen to her speak. But he held back. Thirty minutes was not long, he would meet the real deal.

Han Li prepared himself after texting Wen Qing and asking her to prepare a car for him. This lady was very competent when she was serious.

Her airheadedness seemed to be only tailored for him to see. It was refreshing just thinking about how silly she could be.

They had gotten pretty cozy with each other yesterday and Han Li felt like she was a perfect fit for him. If only he could gather the guts to move forward. *Sigh*

Han Li threw these useless thoughts away as he dressed and got ready to leave.

Thirty minutes was not a long time and he was standing in the lobby when a beautiful girl approached him.

"Mr. Han. Nice to meet you, I am Li Lin."

"Oh, nice to meet you. Ms. Li."

"Please call me Li Lin Mr. Han."

"Alright. Call me Han Li as well. You look stunning. A perfect match for your voice."

"Thanks for the praise."

Han Li observed Li Lin. She had a beautiful face that was hard to read and a full figure that made her look more mature than her age.

Her simple dress made him feel like she was down to earth but it somehow amplified her beauty. It was quite the sight.

Han Li did not spend too much time looking at Li Lin as he waved goodbye to Wen Qing who was staring dangerously at him before guiding Li Lin out of the hotel.

He found the same guy that drove him yesterday waiting for him outside and with practiced motion, the driver held the door for both of them.

"Mr. Han, where to?"

"Take us to a good breakfast spot. I have missed dumplings."

"Ok."

Such a short conversation made Han Li feel strange but the dude seemed to have a grudge against the world. His face was too serious. But that was also good.

"Li Lin, I saw that you are studying at Shangwei University in your 3rd year. Are you sure you can spend a whole week with me on this tour?"

"I have already taken care of everything. Brother Han does not have to worry about this."

"Seems like the rules are more lax than when I was studying there."

"Brother Han is an alumni? That's great…"

Han Li tried to make conversation as he tried to familiarize himself with Li Lin. She was quite guarded and Han Li understood why, but he did not want that to get in the way of them enjoying themselves.

And as he had expected, Li Lin was more open when she learned that Han Li was telling the truth about studying at Shangwei University. There were just things that only students of the institutes would know.

Han Li also learned many things through this conversation, including the reason many university students would be willing to do such a dangerous job like this.

Don't look at how well-behaved Han Li was and think that everybody was like that. There were some bad eggs that thought that the agency was an escort agency instead of a tour agency.

It was fine if that was all, but some did not know what the word 'no' meant. But what could these students do?

Someone like Li Lin was clearly a good student with exceptional performance, but she had to take these risks to afford tuition and upkeep.

Han Li understood what Li Lin was telling him as he had also gone through something similar.
