Extra And MC

One Hero Is Not Enough To Save The World. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amael, the hero, singlehandedly wiped out more than half of the entire demon race all on his own and even won against the demon king. This should have put him at ease but unfortunately for the human race, the demon king and his race were fated to come back to life again after thousands of years, just like it's always been. "You may have won this time Amael, but the next time, there'll be no one as powerful enough as you to save this world" the demon king cackled with a malicious laughter as he faded away. "This is only a temporary peace..." "Very well then... If this is what I must do to completely eradicate them, then I will" Amael then made a decision. A decision he had hoped would ensure the safety of the future for generations to come. _________________________________________________________________ "We were supposed to be dead, but when we both woke up, we found ourselves in this new world... a world that was all too familiar to both of us" _________________________________________________________________ Author Note: The first few chapters (Around 20 chaps) will be written in 1st person POV but after the introduction of more characters, I will seamlessly switch to the third person POV. Also, as you might've noticed, there will be two male leads. I really hope you enjoy reading the book as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Chapter 104 - Flowers & Affection

A few minutes after Evie left the fissure, Aiden and Flynn also did the same by jumping atop the cliff overlooking the snowy area they were in and followed the mana beacons back to the fissure's entrance.

Immediately they walked through the fissure and found themselves back in the buoyancy of the depths of the lake's crystal-clear waters, both brothers watched as the fissure's dark, starry slit, thinned gradually until it completely vanished out of existence.

Taking that as their cue, the youths swam back upwards and soon, found themselves on the soft grassy plains that surrounded the beautiful lake.

With a relieved smile, Aiden motioned to his brother with a fist bump and Flynn returned the gesture with a similar smile mirroring Aiden's.

"Mission complete!" Flynn commented with a grin.

"You said that as if you just finished a videogame's mission" Aiden replied with a small chuckle.
