Burn the vines

The face was undeniably human, a grey jagged face, constructed with vines. Quin's appendages had all been locked up by the vines. The thing coiled around his body and inflicted pains of the twisted flesh upon him. Its thorn sank into his body causing him to gritted his teeth.

"How noble of you, sacrificing yourself for the greater good"

"Shut up, you didn't mean any of that"

"True but, you'd rather hear my word right"

The vines crackle and form into something that resembles a smile. It sent shivers down Quin's spine. It's a mix of disgust and bewilderment, the mother looked human but not human at the same time. It's just a poor recreation of it.

"Do you think that your little group of knights would be able to survive?"

"At least I could buy them some time, you wretch demon."

"HAhahaah," The vine crackle "You humans really love to do something even if it's futile. Great, I'll show you a dispairing sight then, sun priest"
