The rain-slicked roads of New York were treacherous.
When Du Wei arrived at the villa district in the city center, his expression was one of surprise.
Earlier, after flipping a coin and having it land on heads, Du Wei had just hailed a taxi and told the driver to meander around New York.
But when they reached the villa district downtown, the car just happened to run out of gas.
It was unclear whether to call it good luck or bad.
Regardless, Du Wei was forced to get out of the car, and it just so happened he stopped right in front of the villa—he knew this must be the destination.
"But why this villa?"
When he first joined the church, the first case of possession by an Evil Spirit that Du Wei dealt with involved Mrs. Mina and her daughter.
Her daughter was possessed by an Evil Spirit and ultimately died in the second-floor bedroom of the villa.
Mrs. Mina did not survive the ordeal either.
