Down And Into Supernatural Territory

"Goddamit!" A male teenager with black hair that is slightly covering his eyes is seen walking down the street he seems to be a high school student due him wearing a school uniform with him looking on his phone not minding his surroundings .

"More politics and chaos that I want no part of" The teen looks at his phone seeing feeds on various political views and states in different parts of the world with news of a huge demon horde continuing its surge.

Unbeknownst to him he was about to cross over a manhole cover that had particles swirling around "And whats with this Bulls--!" before he could finish speaking the manhole cover seemed to expand and swallow him whole.

-A Few Moments Later-

"AHHHHH" the teen screaming bloody murder while falling for what seemed to be for eternity finally halted after hitting the ground as he felt pain on his whole body.

As the teen moved his body upward he could not help but curse due to these circumstances "Wait A Minute" as he finally cleared his mind he noticed the change of surroundings before he noticed his I.D. on the ground probably due to the gravity.

As he gets his I.D. it has 'Rune Elwyn, Freshman,' on it as the teen now named Rune sighs in relief "thank god its not broken since this is the only thing that can get me in the school and also why does the school not give out extras if they accidentally get ruined or lost" Rune complains.

"Oh yeah...." Rune finally looks at his surroundings more intently now seeing it in a hellish scape with the roof being rocky with red hues glistening above and the cavey floor having jagged stones "I'm so fucked" Rune quietly tells himself as panic finally sets in.

As Rune looks around trying to find a exit he sees flashes of light and smoke happening at a distance he does not want to go there but he suddenly feels a chill behind his back and as he turns around he sees a flying head with its instestines hanging out.

Rune did what any sane person would do and ran to the light and smoke "Why did a Manananggal appear there" he thinks to himself as he does not look behind him since it might make him lose focus on any obstacles he would crash into.

-A Few Minutes Later-

Rune was there hiding behind some rocks where the lights and smoke were. he was panting heavily due to him running at a fast pace without a break as he recovered his breath he looked over the rocks as he did a spear made out of light almost grazed him. He was about to retract his head before he saw what looked like two people fighting against a goat demon that was very big.

As he observed intently he noticed the details of the two people a man with slicked back blonde hair wearing heavy armor, and a girl the same age as him with a white short ponytail wearing what an archer would wear. "Lancaster!" The girl shouted to the man as she fired of a volley of arrows to block the vision of the Demon "On It!" Lancaster ran to the demon with him materializing a light spear in his hands as he plunged the spear deep within the demons chest area.

The demon roared in pain due to the spear as it thrashed around Lancaster dodging its attacks with ease "Miss Hilda! Nows your chance!" Lancaster shouted at the girl who already loaded had ran behind the demon and started another volley of arrows piercing the demons body.

The demon now having been weakend by them had fallen before being finished by Lancaster having pierced another spear into it killing the demon. "Good job Miss Hilda" Lancaster gave praise to her in a professional manner with her humbly responding before they saw Rune having still been peeking out.

They raised their weapons at him and observing him with a scrutinizing gaze "Who the hell are you?" Hilda asks in a raised voice "Who am I who the hell are you?" Rune responded calmly.

"I asked first" Hilda said to Rune "Ladies first as they say" Rune retorted making Hilda angry before doing anything drastic Lancaster intervened "Miss Hilda you should be the first to introduce yourself before asking others" Hilda relented and introduced herself.

"Fine, my name is Hilda Filch future great Excorsist!" she said with pride before having that shatterd with the reply of Rune "I dont know who you are but since you know introduced yourself its my turn. Names Rune Elwyn a high school student that was transported here without consent" he said calmly watching her expression turn from pride to brokeness.

He then turned his head to the blonde man which he asked "And you Mr.?" with him responding respectfully with "Lancaster Hart Mr. Elwyn, Miss Hilda's Gaurdian". After that Hilda asked him why he was here he furrowed his brows "You did not hear? I said I got teleported here you deaf hare." that made Hilda angry and yell at him before being calmed down by Lancaster.

"Can I get out now since I really dont like it here since I need to charge my ph-" Rune was about to finish as he searched for his phone before he realized he lost it while running away from the Manananggal. He fell to his knees with a expression that said he lost his life.

As he did the other two noticed his expression change from calmness to defeat which elicited a chuckle from Hilda "Oh poor you how sad you lost your phone" which caused Rune to glare at her before she told him that she could give him a phone but on the condition he would try and get tested to see if he had awakened an ability to which he readily agreed.

-Hours Later-

- Awakeners Office -

We see the three of them enter a building with advanced technology displaying advancement of the world. Rune looks around in awe when he enters it fully admiring the highly advanced equipment adorning its halls "Wow this place must have costed alot" He exclaimed which brought a smile on Hilda and Lancaster as that is what they also had thought when they first entered they swiftly navigated through the building with ease as the employees warmly greeted Lancaster and Hilda.

- A Few Minutes Later-

"Were here!" Hilda exclaimed as they reached a futuristic metallic door with a sign above it stating 'Evaluation Room' she knocked on the door they waited for a few moments before the door opened and a man with gray hair tied in a long pony tail greeted them with professionalism "Hello Ms Filch, Mr Hart" he glanced at Rune before introducing himself "My name is Dr. Eules Trin a researcher and creator of this" he then showed him a high tech chamber that a single person can enter "This here is the Excorsist Evaluation Chamber Machine or E.E.C.M for short it will evaluate a person if they have or dont have a ability. If they do have a ability then it will categorize its grade and it will also grade your potential, something that will indicate how high your ability can go through practice before stopping" he explained with happiness.

As he explained its feature Rune glanced back at Hilda and Lancaster with trepidation as he does not want to do this but he will keep his word since that is how he always lived like that. He has always lived a life of normalcy with a monotonus cycle even though he always lived like that this evaluation might change his life for the worse or for the best. He steeled himself with a resolve since he accepted the deal he was prepared for the contents of it. With steps slowly going there as it opened his normal life will be gone and a new life of the unnatural will appear and take its place

With only his thumping heart he entered the Chamber.
