Han Shuo sent out a strand of his consciousness and with a quick observation he discovered that the mystical demon attacking her had penetrated her body's defences and was corroding her soul.

"Idiot!" Han Shuo said in a low voice. He thought to himself, "You're a Lowgod who cultivates in the elemental energy of death, but you don't know how to use the method of attacking the soul that you should be an expert in. It serves you right.

Perhaps Li Wei had never experienced such a situation before, but when she felt that a mystical demon had entered her body, she panicked and had no idea what to do. She lost her usual cunning and wit.

"My lady, attack with your soul!" as Li Wei screamed in panic and horror, Colbert shouted from a few steps away.

Colbert and Li Wei had identical strengths, but he certainly had much more battle experience than Li Wei. When faced with the crisis, Colbert managed to find an effective way to defend himself against the mystical demons at the most critical moment, and he immediately informed Li Wei about it.

When Emperor caught up with Eriksson, he looked ahead at those shrouded in absolute darkness and pondered for a moment before advising Eriksson beside him, "We have more important business to attend to. There's no point in rushing. We can fight her to the death when the time is right!"

Having heard Emperor's advice, Eriksson was silent for a moment. Then, instead of rushing forward, he groaned, turned on his heels and left!

Both Emperor and Eriksson returned to their four teammates and continued to work together to resist the mystical demons' attacks. They had no intention of fighting on two fronts. After the midgod duo returned, Donna withdrew her Domain of Divinity of Darkness . The space around Han Shuo and the others returned to normal.

Han Shuo thanked Donna sincerely.

"We are all on the same side. You are welcome!" Donna replied smiling.

From the fact that Donna alone could make Eriksson and Emperor, two Midgods, feel intimidated and worried about their actions, Han Shuo was certain that Donna's total strength exceeded that of Emperor and Eriksson combined! This realisation once again filled Han Shuo's heart with awe. When he looked at Donna again, there were a few more traces of respect in his eyes!

"The reason they did not attack immediately was because they had used up too much of their divine energy dealing with these bizarre creatures. We had just arrived and had not suffered many injuries. That is why they were so careful with their attacks! Donna explained quietly after looking at Emperor and his party.

Han Shuo did not answer but nodded his head.

Donna looked at Emperor and his party and thought in silence. After a while, as if she had suddenly remembered something, she looked at Han Shuo in surprise and said, "How come you seem so relaxed?"

Han Shuo stared blankly and immediately came to his senses. During and after this frightening but harmless experience, the mystical demons never stopped attacking. Even though their Lowgod teammates were finally able to defend themselves against the mystical demons, they were too busy to be distracted. The situation was similar on Emperor's side. With the exception of Emperor and Eriksson, the Lowgods were all exhausted and seemed to be under a lot of pressure.

Apart from Donna, Emperor and Eriksson, the three with Midgod powers, Han Shuo was the only one who could maintain his composure at the moment. This secret discovery filled Donna's heart with even more doubt. She couldn't understand how it was that none of the mysterious creatures attacking them were tired, but the one attacking Han Shuo was significantly weakened.

Donna watched Han Shuo carefully for a moment. She noticed that Han Shuo had now resumed his screaming and looked desperate. But after witnessing Han Shuo's performance just a moment ago, there was no way that Donna would believe that Han Shuo was afraid of those mysterious creatures!

Donna found it both funny and annoying to see Han Shuo pretending to be tense. After thinking about it for a while, she came to another shocking conclusion.

Could he have hurt that strange creature? Impossible, I must be mistaken. He's just a Lowgod If I couldn't find a way to diminish the energy of the strange creature, how could he? But how could my senses be wrong? It can't be. I have never made such a mistake!

Donna's heart was like a turbulent sea at this moment. She stared at Han Shuo in complete bewilderment. It was as if Han Shuo was hiding some great secret that she had no idea about.
