The duo at lunch in silence. Cheryl was lost in thought. She was hurt by the things Theo said. They were painful and it was hard to handle. But all those things were overshadowed by the thought of revenge. She was going to get it at all cost and nothing would stop her. She was even willing to go against her feelings.

Victor stole glances at Cheryl. He knew she was upset. He wanted to do more than punch Theo. Especially when he began to downgrade her but he had to hold himself back knowing fully well that she'd have been mad at him if he had hurt Theo.

But despite the fact that she was in pain and she was hurt, she was not shaken. She still had her composure and elegance .

He cleared his throat.

"Sweetie, you don't need to take what they said to heart. Don't dwell on it. It's not like they are true anyways ." He put his hand on her arm. He was trying to comfort her.

She moved his hand away.
