Evolutionis Player[Eng]

From the book: I produced a portal and came across his mansion made of white marbled stones. The mansion was shining under the moon of this dwarf planet, a moon of magnificent silvery blue color. I had to defeat this demigod. He had immeasurable powers and increased intelligence after all these years of existence. However my arsenal was no less advanced and my magic art was colossal. I amplified my voice: "You, Lumadis, show that I am putting an end to your life, a rat that you are hiding at the edge of the Universe!" "I am not hiding, on the contrary," replied a gentle and playful voice. "I'm just enjoying the view" I did not think any more and produced the black gaseous eternalis which was pouring over the house, violet lightning exploded in all directions and cracked the stone. Our story traces the path of a man who can evolve like a video game. He will progress by trying to unravel the secrets of the system that will help him progress in his destiny. His road will be littered with adversaries, encounters and challenges to overcome. Will our hero manage to survive in the face of these innumerable dangers? Will he be able to evolve or will he perish before?

Chapter 8 - In a parallel world part 2

My vision had still not returned, my senses had sharpened to the extreme in this cavity. By impregnating myself with the mana of the source, I had stored some fusic energy, I could alter this energy at my leisure for the use I wanted, so I sharpened my hearing and my sense of touch. I will be able to read my arcane books by simply touching the sentences, my sensory sensors will detect the contours of the ink and trace grooves in my mind allowing me to discern them.

The cave I had taken possession of was the most ideal and I had converted the survivors into slavery in order to establish my temporary camp. I had been there for 3 days and the goblins were working fast and well. A house on stilts had been founded above the source of mana and the alchemical equipment and enchantment had been gathered thanks to my infinite-bottom pouch. Thus, it had now been 50 hours since I had slept, in search of a solution to my non-existent vision, scanning with my numb fingers on the works I held. Among the grimoires I studied in detail, this found 'The red circle', 'The teeth of healing', 'Nightmares of the mind and body'. These priceless grimoires, I had acquired by the blood of the authors, who had knowledge of my power, and who feared the uses I could make of them. I remember their moaning when I struck the final blow. If only they had listened to my words, they would still be alive today. Because I was acting solely for personal purposes of revenge and self-defense. I did not care about politics, raging wars and power games.

My current perception allowed me to see around myself using mana. My body emitted an aura and like a modern submarine sonar, they reverberated on the surfaces and returned to me.

So I could discern kinds of yarns of different colors according to the atomic composition of the surfaces I discerned. Although effective, this technique consumed a lot of mana for moving targets. So I was looking for a way to perceive differently with my grimoires.

In two books I found the solution "The necromicon" and "The invisible of magic art". By combining knowledge, I was making a highly theoretical hypothesis that resulted in bone and sensory body development. The idea was to force the development of horns on my skull. These horns with very fine sensory receptors would be a bone extension of the skull. In this way, the vibrations of the air added to the internal photoreceptors will make it possible to perceive images rather than wires. However, I had to write the arcane formula perfectly and it was not easy. So I had to imagine prototypes of magic theory on some slaves.

I gave the order to build a magical test space, using a suitable material, namely infused bronze. This material reduced the parasitic emissions from the tests. I wanted to avoid contaminating the cave and the surrounding flora. It was common in the 'robotic city' that mutations occur among its inhabitants because of the ranges of tests that were performed daily. Thus, the necessary measures were put in place and soon the test area will be completed. I was happy with the meticulous work the goblins were doing, I had never used them before. Maybe I should bewitch some for other drawings.

I continued to establish theories until the building was finalized.

I was still in a kind of wave concerning the practice of my hypothesis, it derived greatly from a practice of necromicon to turn into a monstrous being but with extraordinary abilities. I had to limit the deformities of the body only to the level of the head and this caused another difficulty. Magical streams of mana flowed through vessels connected to the brain and altered even a little could have disastrous consequences. There was also the risk of magical radiation parasites that could impact the surrounding space but I had taken measures at this level.

I had under my control 37 goblins of intermediate type, moderately intelligent and very skilled of their hands to make potions. My trick was simple: pretend that a goblin had contracted a disease and take it away to place it in the test lab. I knew they would not be fooled very long, so I had prepared blocking golems that would prevent anyone from entering or leaving the cave.
