The Start: Nine tails attack

Ahhh…

The entire village was engulfed in flames, and countless wails reverberated through the night.

The air was thick with the agonised cries of the villagers, their screams creating a despair that drowned the village in terror.

The men's ferocious roars, the women's piercing shrieks, and the children's terrified cries intertwined.

At the centre of this village stood a giant red-orange coloured kitsune with black fur around its red eyes that stretched up to its ears and nine long swiping tails.

It had the upper-body structure of a human, complete with opposable thumbs on its clawed hands.

Its eyes were filled with unconcealed rage as it wreaked havoc on the entire village.

At that moment, a man flashed in front of it, his bright blue eyes shone with sadness as his hokage's robes fluttered around his trained body.

"Kurama." Minato shouted and turned back, leaving the place in a blink.

Kitsuna looked at him with unbridled fury, crazily chasing after him with its giant body. The ground shook from it.

Although his body was big, the agility of the nine-tailed was simply terrifying.

With the rage filled nine tails, he followed Minato like crazy before he finally arrived at an altar without even noticing it….

No, not noticing it. The nine-tailed was teleported here.

"For the sake of the village."

Minato, with a burning fire in his eyes, uttered, in this altar sat a baby with similar spiky blond hair and blue, indifferent eyes...

Indifferent eyes!?

This baby seemed to be completely different from the others, as his eyes sparkled with wisdom beyond his years.

He didn't cry; he just gazed at the scene with that pair of indifferent eyes.

"Sigh, Minato, do we need to do this? I can sacrifice myself and take that nine-tailed kitsune with me," a red-haired woman beside Minato said, her eyes filled with maternal love as she looked lovingly at her child.

"We have no choice. I am going to use the Eight Trigrams Seal," Minato said firmly.

At that moment, the nine-tailed fox had already arrived near them, ready to bear its fangs.

"Eight Trigrams Seal," Minato shouted, laying down the seal immediately.

He bit his finger, drawing it on the scroll while simultaneously making an unknown hand sign in a matter of seconds.

However, his expression slightly changed.

"Naruto will not be able to bear the whole nine-tailed body." Upon reaching that thought, his frown deepened.

Thinking of this, Minato used the Dead Demon Consuming Seal trying to cut its chakra in half, leaving only its yang chakra.

"Dead Demon Consuming Seal!"

Minato formed countless hand seals again, this one particularly complex. Within moments, his soul emerged from the body suspended behind him.

Suddenly, a strange aura of death pervaded the surroundings, and a shinigami materialised behind him.

The nine-tailed fox immediately found itself rendered useless under the shinigami's presence, able only to helplessly watch as Minato sealed away its yin chakra, leaving only the yang chakra of the nine-tails.

After doing these, Minato fell into a period of weakness.

Despite the bloodshot eyes of the nine-tailed fox flickering with intelligence, it spoke with venomous intent.

"Hahaha, you damn Kushina and Minato. I hate your entire Uzumaki clan. How dare you try to seal me again?"

With cunning flashing in its eyes, the huge body of the nine-tailed fox made a direct move toward the small baby.

"Oh no."

Minato and Kushina's expressions changed when they saw these.

"I am not going back to being sealed again," the nine-tailed gritted his teeth as he tried to kill the baby in front of him.

Despair gripped their hearts as they saw the fast-approaching tail.

Minato immediately used his own body, as he had no strength left.

At that moment, Kushina also moved, supporting her husband and blocking the road.

Splatter!

Blood splattered on the walls, but it was not the baby's. Instead, Minato and Kushina were pierced in the chest; they used their bodies as a shield to block the attack.

"My baby, you must live."

A tear fell from Kushina's eyes as she tenderly looked at her child, blood splattered onto the baby's face.

From the baby's pair of indifferent eyes a small tear formed in his eyes.

"Noooo…"

Kurama's voice was filled with unwillingness before he turned into a ball of light that entered the small child. Countless densely packed lines filled with letters appeared on the child's abdomen.

The two fell to the ground, powerless and with barely any strength left. Kushina spent the last moments of her life embracing her baby.

"Gerotora here is the key to the seal, give it to my master Jiraiya."

Minato said weakly.

"Yes, Minato," the frog said, swallowing the key before vanishing with a puff of smoke.

Bang!

The barrier was broken from the outside, and a small-statured man with a goatee entered, his expression indescribable as he looked at the almost dead Minato.

"What happened? Where did the nine-tailed go?" he asked.

Minato didn't speak. Instead, he pointed at his baby. "Please regard Naruto as a hero for helping save the village and not hate him for containing the monster that had killed so many."

"I am sorry my child, I could only do this much for you."

After uttering these words he slumped to the ground with eyes wide open, but in those pairs of eyes there was no life.

The newly ascended Fourth Hokage of the village died just like that in his youth.

Hiruzen slowly crouched down and closed his eyes slightly, poking him as if to confirm he is dead.

In his eyes, there was no sadness, not even pity, just excitement, and his lips curled into a smirk.

"These went better than I expected," Hiruzen muttered while looking at the baby.

"The nine-tailed fox, huh," his eyes narrowed.

Small droplets of tears fell from the baby's blue pupil, which contained a deep indifference.

However, Hiruzen didn't know that this would be the last time this child would cry.

"You will be my excellent pawn in the future."

While Hiruzen was reeling with excitement, there were Anbus and other ninjas who had just arrived at the scene.

His face instantly changed into sadness.

"This is the container of the nine tails," Hiruzen lightly said, not explaining much, and handed the baby to Anbu beside him.

"Send him to the orphanage and allow a nanny to serve him until he comes of age."

"But…"

"My order is final."
