We'll See Who The Master Is.

The master looked displeased. Zian knows its is forbidden to let a boy into this empire yet she acted so childishly. How can she be so naive and act so willfully? The master was utterly disappointed in her. She of all people should know better than this.

The master's eye turned two shades darker at the thought of this.

"Zian! How can you have such unrefined behavior? You of all people should know that boys are not allowed into this premises. They are not even allowed to lurk around the parameters of this school let alone stand in front of me in my study. You know, I believed in you and that was why I assigned you to stay at the gates because I trust your judgment but clearly, you've proved otherwise." she enunciated every single word.

The master clearly lost all her temper and if she didn't stop shouting, she was likely to get a heart attack. She turned her gaze to Titan who maintained an expressionless face. She didn't seemed bothered by the scene that was unfolding but inwardly, she was thinking of a way to make this master know that she was a girl and not a boy.

'Ohhh! Why didn't D tell me this on time?' She thought.

The master's eyes darkened but she control her urge to scold this little, probably lost boy. She therefore sighed and chose her words carefully.

"You may wait outside."

Titan, knowing that the master was referring to her, bowed and began to leave the study room. She was half way gone when she heard a voice call out to her.

"Wait!"

Titan turned and looked at the master who had called her. 'Why has she called out to me? Didn't she just ask me to leave? Or has she changed her mind? Does she know I'm a girl? No! That's not possible. No one can tell I'm a girl in this outfit. I haven't even thought of a perfect idea, Yet, she has called me back. She probably wants to scold me.' Titan's mind was running in different directions.

She turned around with a gentle smile on her face. That smile of hers always worked magic ever since she began to show it.

The master completely ignored Titan's smile and immensely focused her eyes on something that was in Titan's pant pocket.

"How did you get that?"

Titan was confused. She had no idea what the master was talking about but l when she followed the eye line of the masters eyes, she saw something cylindrical in her pocket. She furrowed her brow because even she had no idea what it was and how it got there.

"That scroll. Can I take a look?" the master asked politely. This attitude of hers was like a sudden one eighty degrees U turn. From the fierce demonic woman clothed in human mask to a gentle, angelic, heavenly angel.

Titan raised her brow. She slowly took out the scroll from her pocket but held unto it tightly. Looking closely at it, she figured she had seen this scroll once and when she thought deeply, she realized it belonged to D but she wasn't sure giving it to master chameleon would be the right decision.

"Come over child. Its important I know what's written in that scroll. Besides it might be in your favor." She persuaded. She was only coaxing Titan to hand over the scroll but only she knew she would never approve of a boy in her school.

Titan curved her brow. 'In my favor? Why would this woman think I would let my entry into this school be dependent on this scroll besides I am not the type of person who takes advantage of others in the slightest. I'd rather work night and day to gain entry than use D's scroll. She probably forgot it in my pocket.'

Knowing that D also wanted this admission, Titan couldn't trade the only key to D's admission for selfish purposes. Although they only met once, Titan believed in working hard to gain what she wants and not rubbing others of their possession. She tightened her grip on the scroll before gently slipping it back into her pocket. She patted the pocket in which she kept the scroll twice then smiled then turned around and began to walk away.

Zian was bewildered. No one had ever disobeyed the master's wishes not even the second in command so why would this little beautiful boy do this? Does he even want this admission?

The one who was more shocked was master chameleon. In all her years of heading this prestigious school, no one had ever refused her of anything in fact, everyone always wanted to get close to her in other to gain her favor and be in her good book but this little boy was different. He wouldn't give into her demand even when she told him she might consider keeping him.

She couldn't let him go just like that besides that scroll..... That scroll looks like one that she knows very well.

"Wait! ..... Don't leave yet."

Titan reluctantly turned. She was unsure why this woman had called out to her again.

"Sit."

'What a surprise. This chameleon can be nice. My father thought me about all these steps on how to gain ones favor in other to seal a deal. Keep playing master. We'll find out who the real master is. She took her seat and sat majestically with her right leg crossed over the left, her hands clasped holding her bent leg and her face, as matured as a business man just as her father thought her. From that adorable little boy to a serious matured man who looked like an elder. She really looked like a royal Titan.

This gesture of hers caused the master to flinch a little but no one observed it.

Even Zian was surprised. Titan looked like an old, wise business man. She could even feel herself shivering because of the domineering aura Titan portrayed.

"Zian, please get something for our guest." Zian was confused at the master's sudden change in attitude. No one had ever made her act like this.

The master didn't have an expression of trying to please Titan. Instead, she looked like she was in the middle of closing a serious business deal.

Zian bowed and was about to leave when Titan raised her right hand to signify a halt which caught Zian off guard.

The master raised her brow and her lips curled up.

"Hold on Zian."

The master ordered with her eyes glued to Titan's.

"So.... What is your name?" She asked

Titan still had a serious face and didn't utter a single word. The master was fasinated by her. Those emerald eyes of hers were enchanting. So beautiful yet dangerous.

"Leave us Zian." she ordered. Zian bowed and left the room. Now the room fell dead silent. Titan maintained her serious expression while the master just stared at her. Under her intense gaze, Titan didn't feel uncomfortable instead, it was vice versa.

The master leaned lazily on the armed chair and pinched the area between her brows. She didn't know what to do with this little creature.

"Where are you from?" She asked again after returning her hand to the arm rest.

Titan said nothing rather, her domineering aura seemed to have increased exponentially.

The master sighed. "You have to be more obedient if you want me to consider sparing you from receiving ten lashes of my horse cane."

Titan still remained mute but after a few heartbeats, she stretched her hand towards the ink and paper that was kept on the table and wrote, I'M TITAN FROM THE LYNX CLAN.

The master was happy her technique worked. Little did she know that Titan was thinking of a way to answer her question all along but had no idea until her eyes fell on the ink on the table.

"Why are you here? Your clan must have informed you that boys are not allowed in this school."

I'M NOT. She wrote then shrugged.
