Chaos

This is the continuation of the book called Eternal Nights, I lost that book by this app signing me into another account and I can't figure out my old one! Please look that book up before reading this one! I know it says it starts on chapter two but it's really chapter one!

Thank you for reading my book! It has been over a 10 year process! I will try my hardest to upload more chapters more often!

It's been a couple years now sense I have found this new realm, was able to create creatures and a home, I found the love of my life during that as well and to this day I was glad he was still by my side! Things were still going very well, the people got along, having gatherings almost nightly. We were able to create real beds, blankets, food for those who ate food and I was able to create humans for a blood source for the vampires including myself.

They were falling in love and after awhile some were big with child. We determined to call each rise of the sun a day and the moon indicated night. Some where even talking about trying to track the days but sense I never did that in my home realm I had no idea what they were even talking about. Figuring someone would explain it to me when they figured it out.

"Geniveave." I heard behind me. Turning around I saw Talon making his way towards me, a smile forming on my face, these years he has proved his loyalty to me.

"Yes Talon, what can I do for you?"

"I was wondering if you were alright? Your castle has been seeming less alive lately." I looked up at my home, the place my people made me, and saw flowers surrounding it, making it look almost apart of the land, it was magnificent. When looking closely I noticed some of my flowers seemed to have been dying, which shouldn't be because I was giving them daily doses of energy to keep alive.

"Yes, I am alright, I must have forgotten to show that patch some love today." I walked up to where the stems were and placed my hand on it and concentrated my love to it, and watched how it became alive again. "See, all better."

"Yes all better." But he didn't seem to believe me, smiling I walked away, walking aimlessly around, not much was needed anymore, everything feel into place when we figured out this whole living thing, no one stepped out of their boundaries, no one caused a fight. When anyone was upset I would just take that pain from them and we would be happy again!

"Kill them." I turned around searching for the person who said that but no one was around, this has been happening a lot lately! I would hear someone say something but no one was there. "Murder them all, they no longer look up to you!" Again I searched, the person or whatever it was had to be right besides her, was this thing able to cloak themselves so I couldn't see them? Was there even a creature that was able to do that?

"Geniveave!" I heard a males voice, one that gave me goosebumps. My Elijah.

"Yes, my love."

"What are you doing this far into the forest?" I looked at him confused, then looked around, I didn't realize that I walked into the forest, I thought I was still walking around my little town.

"I….."

"Your spacing out again aren't you?" I sighed, this wasn't the first time this has happened to me, the last time I feel into a lake before I realized where I was.

"I don't know what's going on." I said looking at him desperately.

"We will figure it out." He replied, but I knew there was no figuring this out, we had no one to turn to, no one here who would know. I asked my gods to help me but they never answered!

"I'm hearing things now." I told him, I had to open up about it, I had to tell him, maybe he would know of a creature that could cloak themselves.

"What are you hearing?" I giggled, it sounded absolutely ridiculous.

"Kill them, murder them all, they no longer look up to you." I repeated the exact words I have heard multiple times these past few days. "Is there a creature that can cloak themselves?" I asked, I didn't want to think that I was going crazy, there had to be a reason this was happening.

"Not that I know of love, let's go see Talon maybe he will know."

"I do not want anyone to know about this, whatever it is I will work it out!"

"Babe, you need help." I raised my hand to silence him.

"What I need is for my mate to understand what I want, and what I want is to keep this between you and I."

"If you get worse, I will ask Talon I am not going to let you suffer." I walked back to my home, determined to just lay in my bed and hope sleep found me. I would no longer tell Elijah about what was going on, Talon didn't need to be brought into this! It was bad enough that I felt like I was going crazy, I didn't need my right hand man to think so as well!

It took us awhile to get back, I didn't realized that I even walked that far, my mind is slipping I lost all this time and couldn't even remember why. When we got back everyone was looking at me, and when I looked harder I no longer saw their admiration, their devotion or even their loyalty, they didn't seem to worship me, I was looked at as if I was just like them! I always wanted equality, but I needed them to know that I was the goddess. The voices in my head may have been telling the truth, they didn't seem to worship me anymore, that was something that couldn't happen, they needed to look up to me, I was their protector.

I made this happy place possible, I took their anger, I took their pain, I helped them give birth to their young, I provided comfort using my power so they had a easy delivery! I made sure everyone was fed by figuring out how to produces fruits and vegetables, flowers were easy to keep alive and took very little love but fruits and vegetables were a total different subject! I would half the time be extremely exhausted, we needed a lot sense there was a lot of us!

Now they were looking down at me? Looking at me with disgrace?

"Kill them, kill them all they no longer worship you." I heard again, and instead of looking around I knew the voice was in my head, something was directing me in a direction I needed to go.

"No, they no longer worship me." I whispered as I entered my room.

"What was that love?" Elijah asked shutting the door behind me.

"Nothing love, I'm just very tired." I walked to the bed and stripped off my clothing and laid down, hoping sleep would just take me. "Good night Elijah." I said loud enough for him to hear me.

"Good night my love."

Not long later I felt sleep come to me, but not before I envisioned my home up in flames with everyone stuck in the middle of it.
