The Party

"Make sure to do it today without any mistake and without leaving any trace of evidence or suspicion," a man ordered over the phone. Then he ended the call. Uneasiness can be seen in his face.

After that, he brought out another mobile phone from his safe, turn it on and dialed a number.

"Follow him and you know what to do after he does his job." He waited for a response then ended the call.

An evil smile can be seen on his face, "After this, everything will be mine."

He switched off again the phone and put it back to his safe. He locked his safe and left the room.

At the party, guests slowly filled the gathering hall. Foods are displayed at the corner and wine are constantly served by the waiters.

Most of the guests and employees approached Andrew to congratulate him and his company.

His wife just stayed on his side holding his arm and a smile on her face is always there while they go around and meet and welcome their guests.

"Congratulations brother in law," they turn around to see the person who spoke. They saw a smiling person approaching them.

It's Oliver Kim. Feliz older brother. Not her real brother but was adopted by her parents when they found him crying alone in the market. He was barely started to learn to walk when he was found.

They tried to find his parents but it seemed that they intentionally left him and no plan of getting him back. Since they don't have a child that time they decided to bring him home and considered him as their son. After 3 years, Gia's mom was born.

"No, congratulations to us," Andrew smiled back and accepted the handshake from Oliver.

"After all, we all worked hard to get this company where at it is right now." Andrew further added.

He is the company's Vice president. It's not because he is the only one with close ties with Andrew's wife but he showed that he is capable to do the job.

Just then the speaker informed everyone that the program will be starting. Everyone went to their designated seats.

The program went smoothly. It started with a video clip that was played on the big screen showing how Unifel Corporation started and its growth for the previous years.

The executives and new leaders were also introduced. Then a brief presentation of the company's financial status followed together with their mission, vision and future goals.

Then the speaker introduced the company's president and ask him to come up to the stage to deliver his speech.

Andrew then stood up and made his way to the stage.

Since everyone is focused on the person going up the stage, no one noticed the smirk on someone's face.
