"Lady Shawl..." Maximilian sounded polite. "Is something the matter?"
"Are you not going to invite me into the Villa, Your Highness?"
"Is there something that you need to talk about?" Maximilian asked, ignoring the woman's question.
"I came to consult you about something."
"Does it have to do with business?" Maximilian said. "My wife and I just got back from the palace and… My wife is quite tired. Surely, this is something that can wait until tomorrow?"
"I—" Diana side-eyed Eve, who was standing next to Max all this time. However, she still maintained a smile on her face. "Unfortunately not, Your Highness. Tomorrow, I would need to go to the mines to examine some relics. I do not have the time."
"Hmmm…" Max then signaled Garan. "Take the Lady to the seating area on the second floor."
