Oh Mister Ungrateful

Ethan

I smiled at Demyan's staff as I walked down the passageway to Demyan's office. It had been a while since I had entered, most times I had met him in the parking or the ground floor when I came to pick him up, but since he was working late today I wanted to extend the gesture and surprise him for once.

When I got to his door, I let out a breath before I knocked on his rustic wooden door. It took a few seconds but the 'come in' came in due time. I turned the door handle and entered with a bright smile.

His blue eyes were still focused on the sketches as he worked on a hologram design. His hair was half tied up and let down. He had changed out of this morning's outfit to sweatpants with a tank and his feet were in slippers. He most definitely planned to stay here for the long haul.
