Carrisa waved her hand, dismissing the holographic image that had been floating before her. Three hours had passed since she had put the others in their place, and they had gradually returned to their original discussions.
The room had settled into a more focused atmosphere, the earlier tension now replaced by a sense of purpose.
Argint glanced between Carrisa and the now-dimmed holographic display.
"Now that we have everything in order, there remains one crucial matter. What are you planning to do with the Espers?"
Elizalina, her silver hair cascading over her shoulder, turned her attention toward Carrisa as well.
"You weren't initially planning to let them live. You had every intention of allowing Alicarde to eliminate them, but you changed your mind after learning the full extent of that Chrona woman's abilities."
