Escape Hell to become a God

Adam lived a normal life until he was 16, that's when everything changed. All humans were connected to the 'system' and monsters spawned randomly all over the world. The monsters became more and more numerous and stronger and so the humans became stronger but also fewer in number. One day Adam died fighting one of these monsters and went to hell. But Adam escaped and his soul occupied the body of a newborn lying in front of a shrine. Luckily, Adam was found by a woman who raised him, the goddess Gloria. But becoming a true god takes more than being trained by angels and the goddess milk. So Adam has to cut off some of his powers and go to the mortal world... Yeah I know... I've started a few novels lately and never continued them. I just stopped enjoying these novels after a while. That's why I didn't publish this one, but since a few chapters have been jammed up so far, I wanted to share them with you. Maybe you like what I wrote in my little free time. I really wanted a character that would NOT go to the adventurers' guild. At first I thought of a salesman, but in the end I came up with something else. I am not a professional! Just an amateur writer doing this in his very limited free time because he enjoys it, so you'll find mistakes and things that may not quite add up, but I hope you enjoy reading.

The Fun is over!

For some reason, everyone had gathered in front of Adam's tent. Cody, Jean, Aldo, John, Nym, and even Tamika, the beast rider who shared the tent with Jean. Together they sat on the ground and Nym talked about life in the camp. As evening fell, Nym led the group to the canteen tent, where a long queue had already formed.

"Damn, we should have known that so many people would gather here! I'm so hungry!" John said as he stood on tiptoe and tried to look over the crowd.

"Isn't there a town nearby? Then we could prepare our own food!" Adam asked, turning to Nym.

"Well, Bredon isn't far and for you beast riders it should be a journey of maybe around 30 minutes or so!" The elf explained.

"Not as far away as I thought. Let's go there and get something to eat. It doesn't matter whether we wait half an hour or ride for half an hour, does it?" John asked the group expectantly.

"Hey, are you daydreaming? It's going on!" Shouted Jean, who had already gone a long way in the queue and was almost at the food counter.

"Then let's go to Bredon tomorrow!" suggested Adam.

The group entered the tent in agreement.

'Maybe I should have brought Mila?' Adam mused.

But the black panther lady was already nibbling on a large piece of grilled meat brought to her by one of the slaves who work in the camp.

*BANG* With a loud bang, two huge gold-fur-covered fists slammed on a wooden table in a small, dimly lit room.

"There's something wrong!" General Aslan roared as he looked at a mirror showing a large camp.

"Our scouts confirmed it, there must be around 60,000 Kapapian soldiers and there is no sign of the hero. The hero of Charbeilian is busy in the south, according to his reports the enemy also uses monsters." Said an older man, pointing his thin finger at a map, he had previously taken from one of the shelves filled with scrolls, books, and maps.

"Shit! Shit! Shit! What about our hero? Who's training him?" The table creaked as Aslan hit it over and over again.

"I have very good news! By the favor of the goddess, we have even been blessed with two heroes, the training being done by the priests!" The older man raised his thin bony finger with a smile as he told Aslan about their luck.

"Two??? Nothing like this has ever happened in the entire history of Treia! The priests? Such nonsense, they can't even swing a sword! I will personally take care of the training of the heroes!" With the statement and the thought of training heroes, Aslan unconsciously wagged his tail.

"HAHAHA, you are too predictable! I've already taken care of it and had the heroes brought here! Come on, they should be in the canteen now." Said the old man laughing.

The older man wasted no time and was already opening the door that led out of the small meeting room.

When Aslan and the short man arrived in the canteen, there were a young blue-haired man and a young woman with black hair in strange clothes. They had strange white armor with edges glowing blue, bladeless sword hilts on their hips and strange little cannons on their backs. Aslan was familiar with cannons, but in a world where walls and buildings were reinforced with magic, there was no point in lugging them around or placing them on the walls.

'Why would you make a weapon like that even smaller and then carry it around? Maybe for the hunt?' The General wondered.

"Good evening, my dear heroes! I'm General Aslan and I'll take care of your training starting today!" The tall lion man greeted the heroes with a deep bow.

"Mano Akane, I'm glad to meet you tw... ahh to meet you." With a bow, the girl introduced herself first but then had to correct herself, because Aslan was now the only one standing in front of her.

"I'm Tom, Tom Ackermann!" The young man casually introduced himself, by simply waving a hand.

"Don't worry, old Veril will take care of your rooms! Hahaha, he may be old, but he's as agile as a cat! So, Mr. Ackermann and Ms. Akane, I have the honor of showing you the Academy!"

Oh great! Oh, by the way, where Akane comes from, they say their last name first, so it would actually be Mrs. Mano." Tom explained.

Deep within the Kapapian Empire

"Ahhhh, please, please no more. I can't take it anymore, it's going to tear open!" Screamed a young black-haired woman with bunny ears, who was tied naked to a table in a dark room, dimly lit only by candles.

"Awwww, such a good bunny! I think you deserve another carrot!" Said a woman in black leather armor as she licked her upper lip.

"Ngnhhh... Please take them out, Mistress Baker! Ahhh, I can't take it anymore!" Cried the bunny girl, as the blond woman shoved another carrot into the slave's pussy, which already contained two.

"Ahhh..., such a good girl! Scream some more for me! Huh..., what do you want? I hope you have a good reason to disturb me!" Annoyed, the woman looked at the uniformed man kneeling on the floor in front of her.

"Ahm m... my... my heroine, I've been assigned to check on your training progress! I've also brought you another slave girl. I... it's a present from earl Bolty!" The man said, trembling.

"So? A slave? Tell your superiors my training is going well, i can already summon hundreds of monsters. And now to the important part, show me my new toy!" The heroine replied rather casually, as she spanked the bunny girl's well-formed butt, causing the slave to yelp.

"I...I'm glad t... to hear that!" The man opened the old wooden door behind him and with a wave of him, a brown-haired catgirl hesitantly entered the room.

"HAHAHAHA! Isn't that awesome? People kneel in front of me and I don't even have to do tedious chores like a queen or something and they even give me cute demis as gifts!" The heroine burst out in a roar of laughter.

"I'm going to go now. Blessed be the Kapapian Empire!" The man gave a short bow and left the room.

"Haaa... haaa... haaa... and? How was I this time? I think I've gotten a lot better." A black-haired woman with bright green eyes asked, leaning exhaustedly on a two-handed sword.

"Mila, you've gotten better in the last week, but it's not enough yet!" Adam said, standing in front of her and resting his blue shimmering sword on his shoulder.

"Well, I think you're quite good!" exclaimed Nym, who was sitting comfortably with Cody in front of Adam's tent.

"I'm not saying that you're bad, just that it's not enough for the battle!" Adam comforted the panther lady, who had lowered her gaze a little.

"They don't stand a chance against my claws anyway! But now let's eat something, I'm really hungry!" Mila said as her stomach growled loudly.

"Hey look! Jean, Aldo, and John are coming back from the patrol!" Nym shouted, as he was about to relieve himself at the edge of the forest, which was only about 20-30 meters away.

Adam could only see Hector, when he looked into the forest, blocking the view of the others behind him with his huge feathered body. But soon John rode Shredder smoothly past Hector.

"HA! Did you see, how my shredder ripped the goblins apart?" John yelled, patting the giant wolf on the side.

"No, sorry, I was way too busy killing the hobgoblin you didn't even notice!" Aldo said aloud, his expression unchanged.

"Now be quiet! We're at the camp now, so they can hear us!" A female voice was heard calling out of the forest.

Jean has always had them both under control like a big sister. She gracefully rode Nala behind the two men.

When the group finally got to Adam's tent, the beasts settled themselves in the warm rays of the midday sun. While Nym, Cody, and Jean prepared the meat, they had brought from Bredon, Aldo prepared a picnic. In the meantime, John pulled Adam aside.

"Adam, you, me, Jean, and Aldo have the next week off. I'm going to get married and I want you to be there!" John said.

"Hold on! I didn't even know you had a fiancée!" Adam was completely surprised since John had never mentioned such a thing.

"Are you not engaged?" John asked in surprise.

"No, I haven't found the right woman yet!" Adam replied, scratching the back of his head.

The conversation ended awkwardly when something hit Adam in the face. Before the object fell to the ground, Adam was able to catch it. It was a leather glove.

"I, James von Ramberg, challenge you to a duel!" Chin raised, the young nobleman stood not far from Adam, in front of his broadly grinning land dragon.

Adam had totally forgotten about the annoying young man with curly blond hair. Actually, he had blocked him out completely, but now Adam remembered, that James had sworn revenge when they once had to scrub the floor of the canteen together.

"Right now?" Adam pointed the tip of his sword at the young noble.

"This is not the right place, we are here at the front lines and could be attacked at any time!" Jean yelled, as she got up and walked towards the two of them.

"You don't need to intervene! I'm going to fight him for a bit and when he's on the ground we'll have lunch." Adam said, still pointing his sword at James.

"The duel is at noon tomorrow!" James said, in a sneering tone towards Jean.

"We'll see, who wins!" said James, turning to Adam.

"I'm just suggesting that the training tent would be best!" added Jean crossing her arms in front of her chest.

"ALARM!!! We're under attack!" A man yelled loudly, accompanied by wild pounding on what must have been a pot.

Immediately, James, Adam, Jean, and the others jumped on their beasts and rode to the north side of the camp. The melee fighters had already lined up in front of the camp and behind them the magicians. The Beast Riders, however, stood on either side of the formation.

"Look up!" yelled Cody, riding his griffin over the heads of the group.

A truly majestic beast, but Adam didn't have time to admire it and turned his gaze to the sky north of the camp. But, what he saw made his breath stop!

A blonde, long-haired young woman in black leather armor was floating in the air. This woman radiated an eerie aura and Adam knew immediately, that this woman must be incredibly strong. The soldiers, who until recently were still recruits, were becoming restless. Cody landed his griffin behind Aldo and John seemingly wanting to hide behind Hector, a few of the soldiers near the group muttering something under their breaths. Until a man in the middle of the formation shouted it out.

"A...a...A HEROOOO! ENEMY HERO!!!!"

As if it was a sign, he had been waiting for, James, standing slightly offset in front of Adam, turned pale and vomited.

"Yes, that is a hero! But now calm down, she's alone!" Yelled Commander Bella, who was standing on a wooden Box.

Calmly, she tied her long black hair in a ponytail and adjusted her eye patch. Maybe she was so calm, because of the person right next to her.
