The forest was a difficult place to travel. I was scared that a beast might pounce on my neck and bite it. It was quite terrifying to go into the wilderness alone.
Although the tribe was close to the village, it took me a long time to get there.
The number of tribesmen in the area grew as I approached, making it increasingly difficult for me to move forward unnoticed.
I stealthily traversed through the forest, hiding myself with the help of the bushes and trees. At one point, I heard a few people from the tribe talking.
"Where are the reinforcements?" one of them said.
"Didn't you hear about it? They are all dead!" one replied.
"What? How are we supposed to conquer the village now?"
"It's not like we actually needed the reinforcements. That was just to reduce our casualties. We can still conquer it, so relax," the tribesman said.
