8. Chapter – Prepare to leave

Noon's sun gently shone on the forest. Mei Lin didn't have a chance to see two cultivators flying in the sky on flying swords. A cultivator, looking around forty years old, returned near a very young one with an angry expression.

"Supreme Elder Dong, we didn't find Fang Yue."

Li Wei started packing things for their departure and picked up both axes, which were stuck inside wolf corpses. When he tried to prepare some tea, he discovered that the herbs inside were somehow different than before. He had made tea from the same herbs a few days before, but he had never seen this kind of pouch with herbs inside it. He tried to find this pouch in their picture book, and when he didn't find it, he threw all the herbs from the pouch into the fire.

This action nearly killed Fang Zen. His heart started bleeding. "What is that piece of shit doing? He burned all the herbs I gave them. It took me ten years to grow them." Supreme Elder started laughing and ordered Fang Zen to return to the sect. He then ordered other cultivators to continue the search for Fang Yue because he didn't believe Fang Zen could find him. If they didn't find Fang Yue, he would start hunting the Fang family, and they would probably cease to exist as an example for anyone else who might try to steal from the sect. With that, he placed a secret mark on Mei Lin and left.
