76. New start

"Xia, take of the clothes and go take a bath." Xia quickly took off the robe and jumped into the bed. She was so happy to lay in the comfortable bed after over half a year of roaming, that she would kill for the bed. Despite sleeping with Mei Lin on the mat, the bed was never good enough and constant hunger with cold didn't help in the slightest. The bed she was in was large easily accompanying two people, maybe more. Mei Lin returned her robe and went down to give the robes to Yu Lan.

Mei Lin found Hao Fey who was spacing off at one of the tables. She was sitting there and drinking the wine from the bottle they had in their room. Hao Fey had just finished the bottle and looked at it with strange interest. She, once again was inside her world, her eyes black watching Mei Lin.

Mei Lin moved around Hao Fey so that Hao Fey could see her. It took Hao Fey a long time despite her eyes turning blue and her casually putting the bottle down on the table. Hao Lin's eyes lazily shifted and focused on Mei Lin. Mei Lin was still patiently waiting until Hao Fey answered her.

Both of them were staring, until Yu Lan came from the kitchen and saw Mei Lin and Hao Fey in stare stare-down fight. It looked quite comical, but then Yu Lan saw Hao Fey's black eyes. Yu Lan knew that Hao Fey had a problem with concentration and every kind of basic thing when her eyes turned black or even when her eyes had normal color, but they had never talked about it.

Yu Lan only knew that this started when the demons attacked their village, but she didn't know what exactly happened to Hao Fey. Yu Lan did not want to interrupt them and was quietly standing at the doors to the kitchen.

Mei Lin slowly moved her veil and her eyes were able to be seen red eyes. Both Mei Lin and Hao Fey were staring at each other and as Hao Fey saw the red eyes she immediately froze in fear. Mei Lin quickly covered her face as she saw a sudden change in Hao Fey's reactions as she sobered up a little thanks to fear.

"What have you done to Fey?"

"I don't know, but she seems somehow, strange. What happened to her?"

"Well, Fey is like that for the time demons attacked our village. I don't know why, but she sometimes can't think for herself and then she can't do anything for a while. Her body can't do what she wants."

Mei Lin followed Yu Lan into the kitchen, pulling out a cultivation robe covered in dirt. Despite its dirty appearance, the red robe looked majestic, as if it were woven from spider silk. Yu Lan was not pleased at the prospect of having to do laundry, her face reflecting her reluctance.

 "Do you want to wash even the clothes that you are wearing?"

Mei Lin looked at Yu Lan who was covered only by the upper part of the old green robe, which was quite oversized and managed to cover most parts of her wet pussy, which had a red tone of color from the intense sex from before.

"You can take off your clothes here and then go to take a bath on the second floor. I will bring you clean clothes up after they are cleaned."

"All right, do you have any spare clothes for Xia?"

"Yes, I will bring them up. They are not new, but they will surely fit."

They had been traveling for a month through the frost plains, and as she stepped inside, hot steam enveloped her beaten body. Mei Lin swiftly washed the dirt from her body, which had accumulated after the long journey, and then sank into the bath. The instant her body touched the warm water, she felt her muscles stiffen momentarily before beginning to relax. The flesh and skin on her neck had already healed, leaving no scars from the serious wound.

After taking a long, long bath, just as she was beginning to fully relax in the water, someone knocked on the door. Mei Lin was nearly fully submerged in the water only her nose sticking from the water. Yao Ji entered the room and saw Mei Lin in the water. Yu Lan placed the clothes on the shelf which was outside the reach of the water.

Yu Lan went next to the bath and watched Mei Lin until she finished. As Mei Lin finished and rose from under the water, she was surprised by Yu Lan. Yu Lan smiled at Mei Lin as she was rubbing her eyes. Both of them looked at each other for a second and then Yu Lan stood up, and went for Mei Lin's clothes.

"Are you done miss? Your and your friend clothes are also. I also bring her a towel. Do you want help?"

Mei Lin stood up and as she was finally ready to leave the water, showed Yu Lan her naked body. She quickly went forward to Yu Lan, and Yu Lan started drying her up with the towel. She was very quick in every move she made with the towel letting her speed up the process.
