It Wasn't Her Fault That He Went Through Embarrassment!

A cold wind swept through between the faces of the two. Zhao Yuhui looked around her when she felt the water turning colder. What happened to the protective gear she had worn underneath? Why was her body turning colder?

Due to staying in cold water for a long time, her lower body had already gone numb long ago and the only reason she was still up on the surface was partially because of the wires she was tied to and partially because of the man's tight hold on her waist.

Tight hold?

The pressure his fingers were exerting, she could feel it increasing second by second and suddenly realised what was wrong.

She apprehensively looked up to meet his eyes and as imagined, they had gone red! And she was hundred per cent sure, it had gotten nothing to do with the cold weather!

Even the breath he exhaled was exhibiting the underlying turbulence and ferocity. Her eyes widened as she felt her sixth sense flashing red flags over the eyes.

She started struggling in his hold to get as far as she could from this expeditiously soaring volcano which could erupt anytime.

His lips twitched infuriatingly as he loosened his hold onto her waist without any further notice. And since she had lost the sense of her lower body, Zhao Yuhui couldn't maintain her balance and fell right back into the water. At an angle she was currently, the only thing in her sight was the dark sky.

She was hanging uncomfortably with her whole body inside the water.

Thanks to the wires, at least her face and neck did not get into the water otherwise she wouldn't have taken even a minute to give her last breath to the sea. The generosity this man had shown before, he was not showing it anymore!

Taking a deep breath, she held herself from cursing out loud at this dumb man. It wasn't her who had asked for help, alright??

Right at this moment, two men from the shore swam to get to Qin Lixin whom he recognized to be his guards. After giving a last look full of anger to Zhao Yuhui, Qin Lixin harshly shoved his guards aside and swam himself to the shore.

Those two men nervously stared at each other. They were already scared out of their wits when they were coming to him. Everyone around him knew how much Young Master Qin loathed the idea of receiving a helping hand at something he initiated.

To him, it simply meant that he was being looked down upon!

Since Qin Lixin didn't give them any extra order to return right away and they had years of experience of coping up with him, it meant that they had to help the lady whom their boss had initially come to 'save' but in the end, mercilessly left her to float in the cold water!

As her body was being brought up by those two men, Zhao Yuhui felt so angry and looked at the back of the man who was swimming effortlessly as if it was not the freezing water but instead a cool sea of some hot beach.

She didn't understand the point of showing her attitude when she wasn't even the one who yelled for help. Gosh, neither her character in the drama did!!!

Had it not been for his so kind-hearted help, she wouldn't be in this situation and would have already completed her scene. Because of him, she would need to reshoot the full scene.

Otherwise, she might have been going to her home at this time.

Qin Lixin looked like a devil who had been forced to rise from his sleep after he reached the shore. His aura was simply too much to ignore.

And for some reason, Director Song backed away to hide behind Xu Haotian. He didn't know the exact identity of this man but since Director Song knew Xu Haotian and Liang Guohua, he could only imagine the status of the man whom he had yelled at so awfully.

"Arghhh!" Qin Lixin let out a grunt as Liang Guohua helped him to get on the pavement.

"Qin Lixin." Xu Haotian crouched where he was. "Are you alright?"

Qin Lixin opened his frosty eyes and answered, "Try getting into the seawater in this freezing weather and tell me then if you would be alright?"

"If you could speak this much, it means you are fine." Xu Haotian laughed.

At the same time, Zhao Yuhui was also brought out of the sea. Director Song had completely forgotten about her existence and suddenly realised that she had been in the water for a very long time, "WHY NOBODY WENT TO GET ZHAO YUHUI OUT OF THE WATER???"

He yelled for the gazillionth time that day. The assistant of Zhao Yuhui instantly came after she heard Director Song roaring exasperatedly.

She had been to the washroom and because the port was quite far from the place of shooting, it took her some extra time to arrive back. "Sister Zhao? What happened to you?"

She asked as soon as she held the weak girl in her arms and made her wear an oversized coat. From the look of the area being gathered by so many people, it seemed as if there was some sort of accident. "Chen Peiling, Don't tell mom..."

As soon as she muttered it weakly, Zhao Yuhui was as good as a dead person. Chen Peiling's eyes widened, and she hurriedly started massaging her hands to provide them warmth as she called her name again and again.

Qin Lixin looked at the girl who passed out as soon as she was made to lie on the pavement. Her body shivered uncontrollably, and her breath went weak. Seeing her condition, Director Song shouted, "Where is the doctor on site?"

He had even forgotten that the intruding of Qin Lixin had exceeded the time limit till when Zhao Yuhui was advised by a professional to stay in the water to shoot. Why this day had to be so troublesome?

Yang Feiyu covered his both ears this time when Director Song yelled and quietly mumbled, "The Director's vocals are no joke!"

"I know right." Xu Haotian replied as he simply watched everybody following the girl who was taken on a stretcher.
