A Night To Remember

sitting under the corridor of a wooden old house Emily couldn't think of anything else but her parents and are unborn baby brother she felt pain and heartache all at the same time .With tears rushing down her eyes she tried to calm her self down and recall in detail all that happened that night it was a rainy Friday night and Mrs Dave has already prepared all that would be needed for their vacation trip tomorrow Emily was their only child at that time and they wanted to surprise her by taking her on a trip to were she always long to be when she was a child , it was the most happiest day of the little princess Emily was parking what she thought she would need for the trip she was so happy that she parked all most half of her room into different bags Mrs Dave was trying to prepare some snack while Mr Dave was ensuring that the car was in good shape. But Emily was busy forcing some toys into a small bag when she was caught by her mom trying to justify her act she told her mom it was for her baby brother to play with ,her mom was caught off guard and could only respond with a smile and told her that the trip would only last for two days and she wouldn't need much load and toys Emily was a bit sad but had to obey after dinner she kiss her parents good night and went to bed early in order to wake early Mrs&Mr Dave remained in the living room in order to watch their favorite episode drama . But very soon all of there joy and ambition were lead to rest when their house door was forced open by some armed men they came in with a man who was covered in blood due to different types of assort that he went through Mr and Mrs Dave were surprised at what just took place but before he could make any move to secure his family he could feel the hot smoke coming from the mouth of a gun that was been placed on his head and he was told to remain calm the reason for the invasion was still uncertain and unclear to him, he was told to look at the man that was covered in blood to see if he recognized him when he looked up he was surprised to see Fred a guy from the street who he saved several times from different situation and in different occasions and place Mr Dave was just a loyal police officer that usually fall in night patrol most of the time he was dedicated In his job that he was awarded with most bravery award and most dedicated officer he served his county and it citizen with an open heart

But that very day he couldn't help but watch the only love of his life die with their unborn child after much interrogation in the living room Fred was shot in the head because they had no use of him any more they had who they wanted the living room was turned upside down it was a total mess after several beatens Mr Dave and his wife were draged into the basement the light was put on and a new set of questions began again Emily was woken up by the sound of her mother scream she was happy because she thought her baby brother was on the way she then made her way to the living room to check were the sound was coming from she couldn't hold her excitement and curiosity she was shocked when she saw blood traces on the floor but held her self together entering into the living room she was surprised to see that it was a total mess but she stood her ground because she made a promise to her dad Neva to be scared she moved further into the living room but almost screamed when she saw a lifeless body on the floor with blood around it she held her mouth with both hands in order not to scream tears were already pouring down her cheeks she could still hear the cry's and it was coming from the basement she made her way towards the basement and found it unlocked she pushed it open and went in she could hear voices but didn't know who it was she successfully reached the bottom of the basement and quickly hid in a dark corner of the basement when she heard the man they call boss ordered them to bring her down to the basement she could hear her mother cry and beg telling them to leave her out of it that she was still a child but the man refused both her parents were tied up and helpless Emily could feel her heart beat faster and her tears ran down like rain when she heard the basement door open and the news that she's no way to be seen was told to the boss she could see and hear the anger in his voice when her told them to turn the house upside down and bring her out when they all left the boss and some other guys still stayed behind Emily could seen there face clearly and only felt pain,anger and hatred for them she felt like killing them and set her parents free but she couldn't she was still a child and don't even know how to kill a fly she felt guilty and pain but promised herself not to get caught because that what her parents wanted .the men came back with the same information the boss became angry and tried to force Emily's hidout from her parents mouth when he saw it was to no avail he killed them both not listening to the plea of a pregnant mother they all left the house through the back door leaving Emily and three dead bodies alone in the house Emily came out and tried to wake up some lifeless body on the floor with tears in her eyes she ran back to the living room to get some first-aid kit she tried different procedure but to no avail with tears in her eyes and blood all over her body she made an emergency call for help when she was sure they would come she sat down and rested her ear on her mother's tummy trying to hear something but it was dead silent her baby brother was gone too she was left alone in this wicked world to suffer unstoppable tear rolled down her cheeks she tried to stop it but couldn't she saw her parents die she watched it and let it happen she was still lost in thought when she heard the ambulance she stood at the basement door and watched her her parents bodies were been carried into the ambulance all her hope were cut short no more trip,no more bed time story,no more baby brother,no more Mommy,no more daddy she was now all alone little Emily now has to fend for herself .The police arrived just In time Emily narrated all that happened to the cops when she was done she left them to talk alone she sat under the old wooden shade to hid from the rain as she sat there she could still remember all that occurred nobody came to help no body came to their rescue they left her parents to die .
