At her house

After our introduction, i received my hands back from the hand shake. Still a little shy and nervous i asked her about her debt. "So how much money is your total debt?"

She hesitated, didn't want to let me know about her debt. "You did save me from their but you don't have to actually worry about the money i will get the amount all by myself." She didn't want to rely on someone else.

But i couldn't just leave her at her own. I wanted to help her. "You couldn't pay the money in last two months how will you pay it this month?"

She looked a little upset. "I will manage it" a little pause "somehow."

"No" i raised my voice " I'm already involved in this. The deal has already been made i will have to pay double of the original debt if you failed to repay him the money. There's no turning back now."

"I guess whatever i say you won't change your mind." She accepted me with a cute smile. "Okay then i will get you involved in this." 

"Okay so how much is the debt."

"Well.. actually" she hesitated to tell me. She looked embarrassed at that moment and finally revealed the big amount. She whispered "50,000 yen". (449.96 usd)

My body frozen but i questioned her again to confirm if i heard the amount right. Yes that was the amount 50,000 yen. That was a real big amount. A feeling of tension flew up to me it was like the ground feel apart and the world ended. A feeling of terror of not being able to pay this big amount. All that confident which was stored inside me vanished.

She saw and understood my condition. 

"Hhh you don't have to worry about it so much." She said to encourage me who looked so helpless to her. "You are not assuming that i didn't store any money up until now?" She looked happy about it.

A sign of hope appeared on my face. " So- So how much money you collected?"

She folded her hands and said with a proud feeling "20,000 yen". 

"Just 20,000 yen" i shouted. The hope i got seemed lost now. 20,000 yen that wasn't enough at all. "How were you thinking of earning 30,000 yen in a month?"

"Well that's i haven't thought about yet"

I released a puff. Looking back to her, her proud feeling and hope turned into despair too. "So we need 30,000 yen more. Well it won't a problem anymore". I show her a little hope.

"Huh what do you mean?"

"I mean i can get 30,000 yen until next month."

"And how will you do that?"

I raised my eyebrows. "By passing the entrance test". She looked confused. 'Entrance test?' She must have thought.

I continued without letting her ask any question. "It was my deal with my parents if i pass in the entrance test of University they will buy me a telescope and that telescope would be worth at least 30,000 yen"

She finally understood. "But i can't do that, it will be a gift from your parents and i can't sell it to pay my debt." 

"Nah it's nothing to be concerned about. I don't really need a telescope this early and i will buy a new one again whenever you will return that money to me."

"But still-" i interrupted her. "That is our only way to get 30,000 yen in one month. And don't forget the amount will be doubled if we can't pay till next month."

She felt a guilt about it but accepted my offer as it was her only hope. 

"Okay so all you have to do is pass the entrance test well that will be easy"

"Easier said than done." I said with a dull face knowing that how weak i was in my studies.

"It isn't that hard I'm also studying to pass the entrance test for a university. All you have to do is just study study and study." She said as if she was a teacher.

"That's the thing i can't study at peace. Not at home or outside. I always come to the library only to find out all seats are taken and at my home-" i stopped before explaining the whole thing "i just can't study at home too."

She put her fingers at her jaw in a thinking position. She glared at the sky then looked at me.

"So… You wanna come to my house?" She said.

"Huh?"

"I mean my house is one of the peacefull place in the world. There is no kind of disturbance. You can study there whole day if you want."

That idea wasn't so bad and it was the first time a girl invited me at her home i couldn't just say no. " Well if you think so i will come with you." I said while rubbing my back of hairs with my hand.

We left. Reached her home. It wasn't too far from the loan shark's shop. It was a normal house. There was a little lawn outside the doors. Lot's of flowers at the side of the lawn. We walked on the pathway to the doors. She picked up the key from her hand bag and unlocked the door.

She entered and took her shoes off. I also entered. "Sorry for the interruption" i said. It was a thing of sincerity that you say whenever you enter someone's home. 

"who are you saying that to there's no one home."

No one home? "So are you parents out for  some work? When will they be coming?"

"They won't be coming because i live alone." She looked at me when she said that.

Wait- Wait- Wait- Wait- Wait- Wait-

So does that mean I'm alone with her in the house today? 

Like alone with a girl in her house? Like for real?

Is something supposed to happen in this situation? Something- Something- huh?
