Chapter 142

RATE AND REVIEW

" mummy!" An eight year old girl called as she rushed to embrace Becks.

" How are you my darling?" Becks asked as she carried the eight year old girl up in her arms.

" I'm fine mummy" she giggled. " Trish and I have a surprise for you and dad" 

" Where's Trish by the way?" Becks asked as she put the eight year old down.

" Somewhere" she replied and winked.

" I know she's somewhere. Where exactly?" Becks asked before keeping her purse on the table.

" Can't tell. Bye" she said and ran off.

" Liv!!" Becks called before going to sit " these kids". She poured herself a glass of water before gulping it in a go.

" Good evening madam" a woman who seemed to be in her early fifties greeted.

" Phew! Leah. Where's Trish?" She asked.

" Sorry ma'am, can't tell" Leah said.

" Are you kidding me? First Liv and now you..... You're all gonna drive me crazy" she said, grabbed her purse and left for her luxurious room.

She opened the door and walked into the room. The luxurious water bed lay at one end of the room, her reading table, closet, bathroom door, wardrobe, book shelf and every other thing a room needed to be luxurious.

She dropped her bag on the couch that rested on the wall opposite her bed before taking off her earrings and taking out an outfit from the cupboard and throwing it to the bed.

She walked into the bathroom and showered before coming out in a towel.

" Aaaaah" she screamed and tightened her grip on the towel.

" Why are you screaming like someone who's just seen a ghost?" He asked.

" What are you doing here Leonard?" She asked.

" Do I seriously need your permission to come into my own room?" He asked and took off his shirt.

" When did I say that?" She asked.

" That's what you implied" Leonard said and she grabbed her dress before dashing into the closet.

After sometime, she came out dressed in a white crop top and black jean.

" So how was your day? " She asked.

" Fine. So how was your meeting? " Leonard asked.

" Cool but there were weirdos present" she said.

" If there isn't weirdo, you're the weirdo" he said and took a towel from the cupboard.

" True. I'm going to check up on the kids. My shoot with Zach devices starts tomorrow" she said.

" Good luck" he said and with that, she left.

" Classic Becks" Leonard muttered before going into the bathroom.

" Trish, Liv... Where are you? " Becks called. She was tired of looking for them. " Where have these children gone? I bet they're with Leah. Let me ask" she took out her phone and dialed Leah.

" Yes madam"

" Leah, are you with the kids? I've being searching all over for them" she spoke worriedly over the phone.

" Yes madam. come with sir'' Leah said.

" What is wrong with you Leah? I expected this from the kids but not from you. Where are you?" Becks asked, she was tired of the whole hide and seek game.

" I'll have to confirm you're with sir before I tell you" she said.

" You must be joking. " She spoke " Leo!!" She called and Leonard walked down the stairs.

" What is it? " He asked.

" You should speak to Leah, she's driving me nuts" she said and gave the phone to Leonard.

" Speak"

" Come with madam to the garden behind the house. Trish, Liv and I will be waiting for you there " she said and hung up.

" You've gotta be joking" Leonard muttered.

" What did she say?" Becks asked.

" She said we should meet them at the garden behind the house" Leonard said.

" I wonder what they are up to. Come on, let's go" she said and they left for the garden.

They got to the garden and their jaws dropped. The garden had being beautifully decorated with roses, flowers, candles,and individual pictures of Becks and Leonard.

" Happy anniversary!!" Trish, Liv and Leah jumped out to wish

" Wow" Becks muttered.

" When did you get the time to do all this?" Leonard asked

" It's simple, we've being making preparations for days and since none of you hardly come here, it was easy for us to hide it" Liv said with a smile.

" Come here you two" Becks said and extended her arms for a hug while Liv and Trish ran and hugged her. " I love you so much"

" Love you too mum" they both chorused and she pecked them.

" Come on, have some cake" Liv said and dragged them to the table where a cake with a bold inscription of happy anniversary laid.

" Awwn" Leonard said as he took a piece of cake and fed to the kids.

" Daddy, you're so dumb" Trish said.

" What do you mean by that Trish?" Becks asked.

" It's his and your anniversary so he's supposed to feed you cake first but he didn't" she explained.

" Oh, sorry about that" Leonard said and gave a piece of cake to Becks. " Happy anniversary Becks" 

" Happy anniversary Leo" she said and fed him.

" Yay" they all cheered.

" Did you get a picture" Leah asked.

" Picture of what? " Becks asked.

" Well, we snooped in your room and we found out that you two don't even have a couple's photo except the ones you post online and we find it weird" Trish said and Becks stared at Leonard.

" Hey, I think we should all dance" she said, trying to avoid the topic.

" Great idea" they agreed, put on the music and started dancing.

After some time, they ate.

" I'm so tired" Becks said " I have a shoot tomorrow and I need to get some rest" she said.

" Alright Mummy. I'm also tired"

" Good night" she said and left.

" Leah, I'm feeling very sleepy. Can you tuck me in?" Trish asked.

" Me too " Liv said.

" Come on, I'll read you bedtime stories" she said and took them away.

" If only they knew the truth" Leonard muttered to himself and shook his head.

" Leah, why don't mummy and daddy have any couple's photos? " Trish asked.

" I don't know, maybe they lost it" Leah said.

" That could be true" Liv said.

" Enough about your parents already. I'll read you tangled" Leah said and took out the book.

" Yay tangle".

Becks lay on her bed, her thoughts on Raymond.

" Humans can never change, always after money" she muttered to herself as she pulled up the duvet.

She sighed, " I better get some rest. I have four shoots tomorrow". And with that, she closed her eyes to retire to sleep.

Raymond stared at the stars, " I used to think you were one of these stars Ari but now I know you're not because you're not dead. You're alive but why act like you don't know me? Something's fishy"
