The Badass Boss

Abbey's heart beat faster than he ever knew.

His time was running out and right about then, there were zombies around them. He knew he had to act fast. For the sake of his life and for the sake of the girl next to him.

What was even her name? He did not know but he was sure as hell knowing that he wanted to live far long enough to know that.

He wanted to live enough to know what was happening to the world and why he had this system. It was obvious enough that the girl did not have this and he as. Or eager to share it with her. At least for now.

For now, he had to rpiopeise his survival. Plus he knew that if she had a system like him, then she would not be cowering behind him and even going as far as calling him master.

Having this system was a cheat.

Or so it seemed. He just had to live long enough to find out if this was an actual cheat that would benefit him in the long run or this was just something that he would gain and then die off.

But he did not want to die. His will to live was strong. If not for himself, for Ben.

He yelled out legally agaisnt the screen even as the running steps of zombies about him began to increase. His heart went into a speed faster than it's as even in the adrenaline state, he could even feel his body crumpling to the ground. It's as only his sheer willpower at this point, which he used to hold on to his sanity.

If this ass a system and like the system which he knew of, in his friends anime collection, then yer had to be something out here for himself

Something which could turn the tide of things for him. If not a deus ex machina, then, it had to be some sort of hidden skill.

There was, actually but the danger of using the skill was something he did not want to over look.

After all, that was what the system had told him.

He was right at the verge of his limits and consciounsss, his body was heavy. Even moving his limbs seemed Herculean.

He felt like closing his eyes and then sleeping off. Never waking again. Having to rest himself and tha. But at the same time, he knew that's one thing like that would only be death. At his best bet, that was the only skill left for him to try.

And even if it meant that he may very well have to go on a sex rampage, then it was only a slap piece to pay for their lives.

But he sure as hell didn't want that. There had to be another way.

The zombies on the other hand did not think that. They hurried in, pushing in further.

Abbey painstakingly turned, ignoring the intense pains in his body.

DING!

[Auto Pilot Mode turning off in 5.. 4… Host is advised to get somewhere safe.]

'Shit!' He could only curse.

The zombies were already gathering round about over them. This time, those zombies meant business and the very fact that they were out in the open meant that they weee exposed to all's per of dangers right about.

He swallowed instantly, shutting his eyes for a brief minute in a poor attempt to recollect himself.

Looking back, he hurriedly gasped at the girl who was frozen on the spot.

"You coming or not?" He called out.

[Auto Pilot turning off in 2.. 1.. Host will fall immobile now.]

'Shit!' He groaned out mentally. 'Activate Testosterone Rush!' He orders the system.

DING!

[New skill activated. Danger; Activating Testosterone Rush would cause a high sex drive and a possible rampage. Are you sure?]

One look at her, his heart sank.

He did not want to take advantage of her. Plus considering the fact that she as only tagging with him because of her safety, he was sure he would not have anything to do.

However, any death was better than dying to being eaten out. He steeled his mind now, swallowing as the skill activated.

At that moment, several zombies leapt into the air. Before he could react, his body went down, crumpled under by their weight. Abbey smiled sadly.

He knew what would happen next.

To be fully under their weight, there was no way that one of them would not be able to bite into him. He was done for.

However, the system did not think that.

DING!

[For activating simultaneous skills, System has awarded Host a skill]

DING!

[Due to emotional state of the Host, System would activate the skill automatically. ]

[Skill activated… Skill description…]

"Aahhhhh…" Abbey yelled out, dimssing whatever was reading in the screen.

In one Second, he felt an insane rush of energy through his bloodstream . His muscles blushed out as his biceps contracted. Acting instinctively, he pushed upwards, throwing out his arms in one sudden jerk.

Several bodies slammed out hard against the ground. Right there and then, he was free, his chest heaving out as he tried to stabilize himself.

His head hurt, but he was alive. And he was grateful for that. Turning back, he saw the girl, gasping out in relief.

Looking at the relief in her face, he felt like a badass. Like a character out of the anime movies. Like an actual badass boss.

And it felt good.

But there was no time to talk. The zombies were already rising in their insatiable hunger to come at them. It was time to make the next move and get out of there. To get into the safety do the grocery stalls.

"Follow me." He ordered, his feet pattering away with his shoulders slamming left and right into the oncoming zombies.

And with each slam, a little sheath of energy formed over his skin, oblivious to Abbey. But noticed by the girl behind as she ran straight, in tha path he created.
