chapter 1: Graduation

[ 0725hours 2080 May 29 ]

'finally graduation day!' A man wearing dress slacks with a long-sleeved shirt and leather shoes in approximately 180cm tall with a shave jaw black eyes and black hair happily muttered showing two dimples on his cheeks while walking to his 2018 Toyota fortuner , holding plastic bag containing cap and gown.

Even though he owns eyecatching car he's not well known to the school aside from his friends, he doesn't participate much in school activities just doing what his subject teachers assign to their student and not going out that much to his friends to fool around or going in the brothel for fearing getting deadly disease. The school also doesn't have much female beauty. It's rarer to have a girl in school that only offer electrical engineering after all most girls afraid of being electrode.

'After driving 12 km in 26 minutes I arrive at the designated place for my graduation. After parking my car, I was greeted by my friend. '

''Ui!! Jayson!! Damn! Driving cool car as always! I'm so envious I wish I have a car to pick some chicks, you're just missing style! Like wearing black glasses and taking it off while getting out of the car!" says the fat man in a loud voice talking rapidly with a bulging belly dark skin and tall as jayson, he has covered his face with his fat And made his thighs heavy with flesh while laughing sweat hanging his face , wearing toxido.

People around sometimes take a quick look at their direction.

''stop barking early in the morning with that pig face of yours? Joseph, don't try teaching me like an expert and stop watching movie at night. " I said in a joking manner with smirk, as I approached him slapping my arms down on his fat shoulder creating a wave while rolling my eyes.

"shut the fuck man!!, I actually lose 9 pounds in a week! Do you know the secret? " said he with smirk. While we're walking at the gymnasium.

"what?" even though I can think of the obvious answer I still asked with slight smile on my face. While my eyes looking straight ahead the way.

"he he he" he just laugh with an evil smile.

'I'm not surprised, hanging with this guy's around can let you easily tell whats in their mind.'

'boasting their life, talking about the positions and how can you please woman, sharing X videos and all they experience in life they'll make up stories like they're the top of the world! even though I myself sometimes talk like that i got tired soon, most of the time I always let them do the talk and I'll just listen half heartedly not completely believing.'

Looking at his lewd smile and his fantasize I turn my head at the gym, there three sets of rows with eight feet in between them to allow for foot traffic. The rows themselves have at least two feet of space in front of and behind each seat to allow guests to move around comfortably.

In front of the podium is the school logo and symbol at the center of the stage with the look of 5 sockets in red and shape of star interconnecting each other's back,

Hanging a large school banner behind the podium. Decorating the base of the podium with a few bouquets of flowers in the school colors with an elevated stage with microphones. The very front of the seat is the teachers and the parents are at the balcony.

There's still 5 minutes before the start.

We casually chat ahead , while looking for our designated sit in alphabetically arranged that we rehearsed.

I give Joseph high five and said goodbye.

"see you later brah!"he said.

'I nodded to him' with a smile,

An opening announcement was heard and the graduation ceremony commences. Processional music filled the air , the audience stands, and the academic procession enters the hall. The Bible bearer leads the academic procession onto the stage holding the Bible with two hands high in front.

'finally! After 1 hour and 30 minutes the boring events of the graduation ceremony is done, holding my degree certificate I wave at Joseph together with his mother, seeing his mother talking to him I waited for a couple of seconds seeing them stopped talking before approaching them.

"good morning auntie!" I take the back of her hand placing it in my forehead as a sign of respect. With slight smile on my face.

His mother already noticed my presence after I gestured at Joseph so she stop talking to him after a few seconds seeing me waiting for them, I greeted her as she smiled showing her teeth with red lips coated in lipstick.

I meet her after Joseph invited me to his house, we talk about how I meet her son but Joseph stop us midway and said I am his visitor so he is the one who'll entertain me at their home she didn't argue back and just smiled , casually left after saying she'll go make a juice. Her mother's age is around 56 years old wearing black short-sleeved sundress with 1 inch heels. Hair hanging around her shoulder, fair skin and visible wrinkles in the face covering her beauty in the past.

"hey! Jayson! ,How are you today?", she said With joyful smile hanging around her face.

I replied back to her saying that i'm doing fine while smiling, she congratulated me and his son that is listening to the side, and i said thank to her.

"mom! I am going to celebrate with my friends for our graduation!" said joseph with pleading tone.

With strict tone and eyes shifting to me and her son she replied

"ok but don't get too drunk and don't come at home too late at night ok!?"

"yes mom! Don't worry about me I can take care of myself , look your son is already old! I know what i'm doing" - joseph said while saying in proud and haughty expression.

"ok as long as your okay! you also jayson , take care !"

"Dont worry auntie i will take care of your son" i said with smile.

I watch joseph hugged his mother and kiss her cheekbone while saying goodbye. We walk at my car while talking about ramdom staff, i start the engine and proceed to our destination.

Of course we didn't forget to take a picture and selfie before we set off.

In 'cidad degupan city fishing village' where

A restaurant at the corner.

People are drinking , eating and laughing at each long tables while you can see a group of people performing a song, beautiful sound and melodic voice reverberated to the surroundings.

There's a young man standing alone at the corner leaning his arms at the modern fence while holding a cup of wine, he look at the bright sky , one would see he is in deep thought.

On this modern day it was rare enough to see it because of light pollution.

I look at the bright sky in surprise, tonight many stars could be seen reflecting at the water ahead whiles you can see fishes swimming at the reflection of the moon light.

Making my soul and body feeling comfortable and relax.

In regards of how did i got here alone, together with joseph we meet our buddies and classmates each company has an aura of joyful presence we indulge on our own and talk about anything we can think of, after that i feel bored and make random excuses to be alone.

I hear someone's footstep coming behind

"hey! what are you doing here alone by yourself?"

I turn my head to see and said in surprise

"nothing i just want to be alone to take some fresh air."

She comes at my side and said

"am i bothering you?"
