EPHS-Chapter 437 Chaos Unleashed

On top of a tall building in Tepes Royal City, Lilith sat on the railing, swinging her little feet. Not far away, Rizevim and Euclid were overlooking the city.

"Euclid, are you ready?"

"Everything is ready, Rizevim-Sama."

"Good. Let the action begin!"

"Yes!"

Euclid stepped back, and Rizevim gazed once again at the land and city below.

"What a beautiful vampire kingdom. Let me offer you a feast of madness!"

"Hehehehehe!"

Spreading his arms, Rizevim laughed maliciously. Simultaneously, a massive magic array unfolded beneath the entire Tepes Royal City. No, not just the royal city; all nearby towns inhabited by vampires were affected!

The enormous magic array slowly activated, emitting a dazzling light that shot into the sky. From a high vantage point, it appeared as a grand spectacle. However, for the residents of the Vampire Kingdom, it marked the beginning of their nightmare!

"What's this damn light?!"

"Ahhh... my body, my body..."

"No... no..."

"Ahhhh!!!"

Vampires, being nocturnal creatures, felt extremely uncomfortable with this light. But that wasn't all; one by one, the vampires covered by the light began to swell, transforming into dark Evil Dragons!

"Hooooouuuu!!!"

"Ahhhhhhhhh!!!"

Shouts filled the air as these Evil Dragons, several meters to even dozens of meters in size, began their transformation, immediately wreaking havoc, destroying buildings and attacking untransformed crowds.

Breathing fire, biting into the crowds, screams and explosions echoed in the surroundings, turning the entire city into chaos.

Meanwhile, in the embassy building:

"Tenraku-sama, Something's happening outside." Standing at Tenraku's door, Yubelluna knocked and informed him.

"I've already heard."

Shortly after, the door opened, and Tenraku stepped out of the room. Behind him were Raynare, Mittelt, and Kalawarner. The three fallen angels had flushed faces and their eyes were still shimmering with the lingering charm. It was evident what mischief they had been up to in the room.

The group, including Gasper and Valerie, had gathered in the hall. Tenraku, looking through the window, observed the situation outside. Massive Evil Dragons were wreaking havoc everywhere, attacking buildings, and some were even assaulting the embassy building's barrier.

"So, Rizevim has started his move..."

"Valerie and Gasper, stay in the building. The rest, get ready and follow me."

"Yes, Tenraku-Sama."

Tenraku issued orders, and Yubelluna's group quickly moved into action.

"Tenraku-Sama, I want to help too."

Clenching his fists, Gasper was somewhat scared as he spoke.

"What about Valerie? Your task is to stay here and protect her."

Tenraku said calmly while looking at Gasper. Although Valerie possessed the bloodline of a vampire, surpassing ordinary humans in physique, she was timid and had not received any combat training. 

She was completely ignorant of fighting matters. If those Evil Dragons broke through the barrier and charged in, the first one to be devoured would be her.

"I understand."

"Tenraku-Sama, I will protect Valerie!"

Gasper vigorously nodded with a surprised expression on his face.

Patting Gasper's shoulder and seeing that Yubelluna's group was ready, Tenraku led the girls out of the building and took flight into the sky.

"Hooooouuuu!!!"

Just as they flew out of the barrier, several Evil Dragons roared, charging towards Tenraku and his group. Yubelluna, with a cold gaze, waved her magic staff, causing multiple magic arrays to unfold in the air.

Hong Hong Hong Hong!!!

A burst of radiance occurred as all the magic arrays exploded, and the Evil Dragons wailed as they were shattered. These Evil Dragons were undoubtedly creatures transformed from vampires, and Tenraku knew that Rizevim wouldn't have any good intentions.

Assisting Marius in seizing power and aiding him in researching Sacred Gear – Rizevim was not one to act without a purpose. Sensing the situation, Tenraku gained some insight. A significant portion of Tepes Royal City's vampires had been transformed into Evil Dragons.

These Evil Dragons possessed at least the power Comparable to a Middle-Class Devil, some even reaching High-Class and Top-Class Devil levels. Generally, the larger the size, the greater the strength.

With a wave of his hand, Tenraku added extra layers to the embassy building's barrier. Simultaneously, he utilized the abilities of Demonic Sword Creation - Sword Birth and Holy Sword Creation - Blade Blacksmith. 

With a resounding Hong Hong Hong, enormous Holy Swords and Demonic Swords pierced through the ground, surrounding the embassy building, creating an area where Evil Dragons couldn't land.

At this level, it was unlikely any Evil Dragon could break through the defense and attack Gasper and Valerie guarding the embassy building. Even if they did, Tenraku and his group could return in time to rescue them.

Without hesitation, locking onto Rizevim's aura, Tenraku and Yubelluna's group flew toward the direction of the royal palace.

"Lord Rizevim, what have you done to us?!"

"Why did everyone transform into Evil Dragons? You must give us an explanation!"

"Where is Lord Marius? Why hasn't he appeared these past few days?!"

In a high tower beneath the royal palace, several elder Tepes Vampires angrily interrogated Rizevim. At this moment, even the foolish ones among them understood that they had been deceived by this devil!

"Gā Gā Gā…"

"Explanation? What more explanation do you need? They willingly accepted the transformation. If the experiment had a slight mishap, what could I do?"

"Are you looking for Lord Marius? Marius, come out and meet your beloved elders!"

Grinning triumphantly, Rizevim's words were followed by Marius Tepes emerging from the shadows.

"M-Marius-Sama, what happened to you?"

With lifeless eyes and an expressionless face, the vampire elders noticed the abnormality in Marius.

"Roar!"

Emitting a beast-like roar, Marius's body expanded at an extreme speed, and then, with a thunderous stomp, the ground collapsed. He transformed into a colossal black Evil Dragon, nearly a hundred meters in size. 

Unlike the other Evil Dragons, Marius's Evil Dragon exuded an overwhelming ferocity, with scarlet red eyes, and even featured a face resembling Marius on its forehead.

The face of Marius on the Evil Dragon's forehead suddenly opened its eyes, grinned eerily, and then the colossal Evil Dragon opened its mouth, swiftly devouring a vampire elder who couldn't react in time.

KaCha KaCha...

The sounds of chewing echoed as the remaining vampire elders looked on in disbelief, horrified.
