Episode 37

Ava's Point Of View,

In the morning-

"Good morning Ava. Wake up. Do not you have to go to college? Get up or else you will get late", I heard my mom's voice and I just shook my head.

"Mom, I took a vacation leave", I said and she just yelled hard. I quickly opened my eyes to see what happened. Why she is yelling like this?

"Mom, are you okay? What happened", I asked her as I rubbed my eyes and saw her. She was standing just near my head and looking at me with a big smile on her face.

"I am so happy that you finally took a vacation as I said. I told you that you needed it", said mom and slowly caressed my hair and I just glared at her.

"Mom, you just yelled like someone is gonna kill you. You literally scared me", I said to her and she just laughed so hard, she is really unbelievable.

"Oh come on honey. I am really happy that you did it", mom said and I just smiled at her. She is my mom after all, and I can not ignore it.

I am just confused that the principal actually gave me a vacation. And he also said I can take it off as many days as I want. That is really strange, right? He was not allowing me to take one day off and now he is giving me a vacation of my wish.

"Mumma, Mumma, where are you", I heard my boy's voice and a big smile came on my face.

"Good morning my baby boy. Come here and give Mumma a kiss", I said and he came close to me and kissed both cheeks and he just pulled back and started coughing.

"Good morning Mumma", he wished me with a smile.

"What happened? Why you are coughing like that", I asked him and he just made a puppy face.

"I ate ice cream the last day, and I just got cold", he told me in his baby voice and I just glared at him and make him wear a mask.

"Luke, you are not allowed to remove it, baby, okay? Just wear it if you want to go out and play", I warned him and he just nodded his head slowly.

"Mumma, will you please make a cup of coffee? There is an uncle in the park who slept on the bench for the whole night. And he was shivering, so will you please make it", he asked me and made a sad face and I just nodded my head.

"Okay just wait for me okay? I will make it for you but do not forget that he is still a stranger, so do not touch him and do not get interact with him, okay", I made him understand and he nodded his head like an obedient kid.

He just took the cup from my hand and walked out. I just started thinking about the guy who was sleeping out. Why would someone sleep out the night?

Did someone kick him out of the house? Maybe something happened, God knows. I just washed my face and jumped on the bed again.

I wanted to sleep for so long but it is just my mom woke me up now. But I can sleep back, so I just jumped on the bed again.

I just know that I could not sleep again. I was just laying on the bed and cuddling with pillows. I was feeling so bad for James.

Luke was so angry with him last night and he would be feeling so bad. I looked into his eyes. He was just so upset and I could not even say anything to him and he did not even message me yet. Or else every morning I get a good morning text from him, seems like he is still so sad.

"Mom, I am thinking that we should go somewhere out. Where do you want to go, just I, you, and Luke will go, okay", I asked her when she walked into my room with a happy face.
