Chapter 20 - Six years old

Upon grabbing the sword using my Mana to inspect the curse sword that seemed to bond with me as I felt how light it was despite being made from the bones of dragon king. I swung it a few times to see how sharp it is and unsurprisingly cut through anything with little resistance withouts manipulating the inertia and force of it. I tried activating its magic by pouring Mana into the blade and soon exactly 6 clones were created that had shared senses where I am at the center.

It was strange to be honest that I am able to process it without much confusion among myself. The clones seem to be kept close and Mana constantly poured into the blade to ensure that they stay since when I stopped feeding it turned the clone back into nothing. Though, the memories stay in my mind which meant that I could get stronger and train more in a shorter amount of time.

I once again made a clone but this time only one then tried sending it into my personal world only to find the connection was severed. It meant that I can't have clone training while I do other stuff that was a bit disappointing. I'm curious how far I could control the clone and for how long but I'll experiment with that later. I sent the blade in the Treasury of Empyrea before collecting the corpse of the mercenary walking around and looting their chest.

They had various types of currency with different continents but the most they had was Asura coins. They were chest full of Asura Silver coins and Asura gold coins that would be extremely useful for my expenses.

I believe the conversion of the coins are Asura Gold Coin equal to 1,000 USD, Asura Silver Coin equal to 100 USD, Asura Large Copper Coin equal to 10 USD while Asura Copper Coin is 1 USD. This meant that my finances wouldn't be a problem for quite a while. I stored everything I collected back to my Empyrea treasury and walked around the camp then found something that would be extremely useful for me.

'A book about summoning magic!'

This was the only magic that I have yet to learn and understand. There are a few things that interest me, namely the spirit summoning the Armored Dragon king, Perugius Dola, who was one of the heroes that sealed Demon god Laplace. I recalled that the magic spell is able to create a spirit out of the user's mana that functions according to the user's design, similar to computer programming.

The summoned spirit would cease to exist upon mana depletion under normal circumstances, but it is possible to summon highly intelligent and powerful spirits that could last for hundreds of years using secret arts developed by Armored Dragon King Dora.

I'm unsure how it is done but if I'm able to learn then perhaps I could create a subordinate under me that I could command. Though it would be trial and error that could take a while without proper instructions but if I understand the foundation of summoning then I'll manage. Not to mention, I am more into create Flying Raijin or even teleportation spell that I could mix with [ Shundō ]

Once I stored the book into my treasure and decided to walk my way back home while inspecting the mana crystal ball that I plucked from one of the staff belonging to the magician that I've killed.

Looking at it made me extremely hungry yet reluctant to eat a condense ball of Mana right off the bat. I played around with it until I had enough courage to take a bite of it, making sure to use Touki to strengthen myself.

'Taste like candy.'

Taking my first bite crushed it within my mouth, tasting an indescribable sweetness from it that quickly absorbed my body and felt the flow of Mana bursting from my body as the density increased but my Mana core barely purified in the process. I continue my treat before quickly heading home.

===========

It's been exactly a year since I've encountered that North Saint Rank and gained his sword from him. I have discovered a few things when using the sword that I stole. Firstly, the distance that the clone could go is around 20 meters apart and farther would delay the feedback to my mind which is the main body with the limit of exactly 70 meters that causes the clone to turn into Mana particles.

Secondly, the clones are not able to create their own Mana core nor could they purify my Mana core by meditating and only work when I do it. However, they are able to cast the same spell as I do and as much as I could do with only limit is Mana would rapidly drain since not only am I feeding the sword my Mana but also casting magic with clones simultaneously.

However, it had helped me in lessening the time to understand summoning magic allowing me to create spells that distort space. I wasn't yet able to create the Flying Raijin but able to create a teleportation circle that had two points that were linked together and allowed me to appear from point A to point B rather instantly.

The feeling was strange but I kept trying to understand it, which in turn gave me the ability to teleport anywhere that I see as long as my Mana hasn't depleted. Though, continuous teleportation distorts my mind and my intuition is telling me that it would be dangerous to teleport more than 20 times at my current state and preferably [ Shundō ] is to be used instead of teleportation when in combat.

Interestingly, when I got Lostvayne and recalled the Seven Deadly Sin Verse gave me the inspiration to recreate Full counters that were the base of the Water God Style and Distort the flow of Mana along with the space. I made 3 of my clones to replicate it while me and the other 2 focus on the magic circles written on the books that I've collected.

Furthermore, they were books that had Beast God, Fighting God and Demon God Language allowing me to study their language but Surprisingly they were all languages similar to the one in my old worlds.

Aside from that, I was also able to place magic enchantment into items thanks to the books and added many spells on the necklaces that Roxy gifted me for protection. I've also made some Gravity Bracelets to increase the burden I'm under which is now at around 15 times the gravity.

Before I forgot to mention, Rudy was able to form his Mana core and had grown significantly so I believe he'll manage to stay safe. The only thing he lacks is battle experience and getting used to killing a person but I won't intervene and let him experience it himself. I'm not his babysitter.

That aside, my prisoners were quite helpful in giving me a lot of materials regarding biology and transmuting them into other races. Based on their reaction I could guess changing their biology was excruciating but helpful since I saw that I can change a person into beastmen and men to women.

How do I turn someone into a beastmen when I don't know the biology of them? Well, there were quite a lot of beastmen in their group that provided me with some understanding of their biology. I was able to test a lot of things like what kind of poison works perfectly and doesn't.

I kept them alive as much as possible by constantly healing them and improved my healing so that I could say that I would be at the Advance or even close to a saint rank. I'm certain that I am able to create limps and turn myself virtually immortal as long I don't run out of Mana.

I've thought of trying to change my body but I thought it might damage my growth and didn't continue and ignored the idea. However, there are a few things I've discovered about my body and that my blood has an extreme healing property that resurrected them. This was extremely dangerous if anyone found out and tried to see if it was possible to not revive them but to my surprise it actually works.

This meant that my blood could be healed to anyone that I desired and when the person revived had instantly become a loyal servant of mine who would die for me. How sure am I? Well I told them to kill themselves and was successful.

New question came to my head and pondered what is the limit of it. Like could I revive someone who was only bones now? Or even just a piece of their cell? I doubt it's possible it doesn't hurt to try but I decided to test it next time.

The most interesting thing I have been trying to do and inspire me was the ability that a certain fake hero had which was [ Trace On ]. Right now at this moment, I was trying to copy my curse sword before trying to make other swords. I might be a bit of a stretch here but something created can be replicated as long as it is in the world and I understand what I am making.

If my memory serves me right then I believe there are exactly seven processes in using trace on. I took a deep inhale then exhaled as I let my Mana churn within my Mana core flowing through my body then expelling the energy outward.

'Judging the concept of creation.

Hypothesizing the basic structure.

Duplicating the composition material.

Imitating the skill of its making.

Sympathizing with the experience of its growth.

Reproducing the accumulated years.

Excelling every manufacturing process.'

I concentrated on tracing the finest detail regarding my sword that began to form before my hands. This was taking a toll in my mind trying to perfectly capture the sword but regardless, I stared at my creation and tightly gripped it then took out my original and found that at least 80% was captured from the sword. This is the first time I did this after hypnotizing and was pleased with the result.

This made me believe that as long as the sword exists or I have firmly gripped what I want then I am sure to be able to trace it. Though, this all depends on the concept of the sword and can't make a weapon that lets say cut anything. Maybe it could cut a Myriad of things but in the end it won't cut everything. That being said, the fruit of my labor was enough for me to be satisfied.

'Now only, Flying Raijin and Magia Erebia are the things I need to create.'

I stared at the replicated sword and ate it without hesitation finding out that I could eat anything and absorbed its Mana. Afterwards I went back home where it started to rain and moved as fast I could.

"I'm home."

"Welcome young master Rein. The bath is ready, please warm yourself before you catch a cold. Young master, Rudy and his friends are also going to take a bath."

I perked up hearing her then used Teleportation to appear upstairs surprising Lilia but she was already used to this kind of thing with me and soon found Rudy had just removed Sylphy Clothes.

"Rudy, what are you doing with Sylphy?"

"R-Rein!? This isn't what it looks like!"

"What's going on here-Oh!"

My father came in to check the commotion to find us with Rudy finally realized that Sylphy was actually a girl where me and father glanced with each other giving Rudy a smirk. After that, my brother took a while trying to apologize with Sylphy and had new things to tease him about.
