Ch. 45 'The Arrangement'

Hokuto smiled and then stood up. "I know you could do it. Alright, I will take a rest. See you later."

Edward patted Scarlet's shoulder as soon as the door to the room closed again.

"Something's wrong?" Edward concerned the change of Scarlet's expression. She was pale, and her eyebrows were frown.

"At first, I thought the ones would be joining us are the white or green knight. I never thought they are the purple and colorless knight. Both of them have unique mastery, and each of them is dangerous. I don't care whether they are women or not. The matter is their mastery. Edward, you are right. This is getting dangerous."

"I know. Are you regretting it now?"

Scarlet shook her head. "No. I'm just scared." Scarlet leaned her head in Edward's shoulder. "What should I do? I've found six Elementalist knights and three more left. But until now, I still haven't found Princess Xiao Yue, the Time Master. Somehow I feel something bad will happen in the near future."

"We will never know when the prophecy will happen. You better not have to be too depressed thinking about this. We only need to deal with the present and face it bravely. When the time comes, just remember you are not alone at all. Not only me and your family, the other Elemental knight who already bonded with you will also help you."

Scarlet smiled with relief, hearing this. "You're right. Thanks, Ed."

Scarlet was very thankful that her inamorato was Edward. She could not imagine what would happen to her life if she did not meet Edward.

Izzy looked at a series of words on her paper. She had been told she could only subtract the energy of level A and S elementalists. The schedule for each level A and level S who was coming to the academy was there. There were some requirements that she must follow.

She was only allowed to take one percent of the energy from each Elementalist three times a day. And within a month, she was not allowed to feed on the energy from the same person.

The awful part was the fact that her most favorite energy was so little. There were less than thirty Flora Elementalists in this academy despite the fact that it had more than five hundred Elementalists.

She also had to take every lesson that the academy has given to her. She was not allowed to be absent, if not urgency.

What is this? Did Scarlet give a lot of rules to make her life like hell?

The longer she stared at the paper, the more annoyed she felt.

"What is this? I just want to eat flora energy. While the flora Elementalist here are twenty people, how can it fill me up?" she complained to Yuki.

Yuki read the paper given by Izzy to her and then sighed. "What can you do? At least you don't need to hide anymore to hunt."

"Hmph!" Izzy still did not accept the regulation.

What's the difference with a prisoner whose food is restricted then?

"Come on, Izzy, you don't want to cause trouble, right? Let's go around. Who knows you will find your inamorato here?"

"I really hope that my inamorato is a flora Elementalist."

"Me too."

In the end, they both tried to enter each lesson that was attended by all students with level A, while level S only came in the evening to take a mission. Unless the higher-ups called her for an urgent mission, the S-level Elementalist would not go in there daytime.

That was the sole reason why Izzy and Yuki chose to join regular classes instead of S-class. They could meet more people in the day time where all standard class attended.

This way, the chance to meet her inamorato was bigger.
