Bosmer And illusions (Chapter 12)

As she was handed the bowl, those eyes were strange to her. A four-pointed star where irises would normally be for humans, they seemed to be drinking in the golden brown. But then a green began to consume the golden brown as the woman stared at Ellehish. They lady stepping away from the hearth, as her steps moved around the young girl. A feeling of nature surrounded her while her senses were stimulated, after a brief second, she found herself within a sea of trees. Reaching far beyond what she had ever seen on earth, vines as thick as both of her arms together. Florescent bugs flying pass her as she looked and found herself standing on a large root from one of the many trees.

A voice spoke softly to her as if it was the wind. "What are you child? For I can smell the fragrance of nature within you, yet it is different from what a Bosmer would have." it muttered. A sudden feeling of warmth came from her head as she reached to touch it, she felt bands of metal curving around from behind her head as it made its way over her eyes. It was dark for but a moment as she felt something leave her body.

A small headache was beginning to form, opening her eyes she was standing back in the kitchen but this time she was sitting on one of the chairs. Looking around she saw the lady was back at the hearth. And in front of her was the bowl of meat stew while a piece of bread and cheese were on top. "Well go on, eat before it gets cold" The lady spoke. Ellehish finding this all to be strange she decided to focus on eating for now but made a mental note to be wearer of the woman. It had taken a few mins to finish the food, she had kept an eye on the woman as she finished. " Don't you know it's wrong to stare" she said in a teasing manner." She didn't respond to that as she placed her bowl down. " Thank you for the food" Ellehish said as she walked away and left the kitchen.

As she walked the sound of chatter was ahead of her, passing through the doorway she was greeted by people chatting and eating. beside her was the counter, the owner seemingly busy with a customer. Yesterday she didn't really have the chance to get a good look around due to the fighting and to how tired she was mentally. There were about 2 long tables on each side the door to enter the tavern. While 6 smaller tables were spread around further in. The counter was placed to the right side with the door she came from behind it. As her eyes kept looking around, she spotted the stairs leading towards the upstairs. A railing about waist high with a door spread about 9 steps apart. For a total of 8 Rooms up top. While a pair of second stairs seemed to lead down.

Above the door was something similar to glass, it was warped more than waves on a beach but light still passed in. " Good morning lass" A deep but soothing voice said from her side. As her head turned to look, it seemed the owner had finished speaking with the customer. " Right lass, so you will be working from dawn till mid-day, from then on you will have to train me or those i can find to help you. For how long training will go to will depend on your capability's." His eyes ever focused on her as he finished speaking.

"That sounds fair but i was hoping you could do me a favorer, it's going to come off as a bit rude, but could you not make me serve any Nord's" It would be better not to cause any problems for someone that's trying to help me Ellehish thought as she finished speaking. He simply nodded as he waved someone over. It turned out to be the lad from yesterday. If she had to guess, he was ruffly around 5'8 in height and seemed to be around her age maybe. " Sorus this is Ellehish she will be helping you today with your tasks. Help her get a feel for things, if my mother needs help with anything send her as i need those tasks done first" Sorus simply nodded towards Gersg. As she looked him over, His brownish red curly hair was shoulder length. A golden hopped earing visible on both his ears. The start of a stubble growing on his chin. He was wearing a green shirt with a red open shirt? it had black trims on the sides. Must be a culture thing she thought. His eyes were a light grey.

"Well come along first thing we need to do is bring some water for the upstairs guess." leading the way she followed him. For the Next six hours she spent it with him, it was funny when he seemed surprised at her being able to keep up with him. Bring up the conversation between them and she explaining she was different, now if that was a good thing or a bad one would be up to the people around her. Saying that she lived by a set of rules, those being that she would treat those they way they treated her and that she would never forgive those that had harmed her. He seemed to agree with those ideas, after saying their farewells as the sun rested high in the sky. He was an interesting guy she thought.

As she made her way back to the counter, she saw that the lady from earlier today was now there. She greeted Ellehish with a smile " How was it? Did you find anything difficult?" she asked. "No, I believe I'll be able to keep up without any problems" Ellehish respawned trying her best not to come off rude "Thats great to hear, oh I don't think I've introduced myself have i?" She chuckled" My name is Alawion Duskhollow.
