Chapter fifteen

My mother and i arrive at my grandparent's house, it is a six room house, with a lot of cats and not a single dog, i love cats so much that i wanted my grandmother to give me one but my mother hates them for no particular reason so no cat for me.

"Koko! hi" i excitedly greet my grandmother with a hug "Hi peanut, how are you? How long has it been? You are such a stranger" "not too long koko, just a few weeks, I'm good and you? Where's papi?" She laughs and high fives me "I'm good, he is in the back garden" "ok let me go and greet him."

I walk to the back and find him kneeling down next to a carrot plantation, "papi! Surprise!" "Peanut! What brings you here? Oh my sweetheart come and help me up quickly" i help him to his feet and hug him tightly "how are you?" He asks me with a smile revealing his wrinkles "I'm fine and you" "I'm old but still kicking" "oh papi you're not that old" i giggle and hug him again.
