Earth: Reboot

Izak Smith was a Private Investigator that also loved Video Games. When the real world laws started to apply in the game he put both skills to work and what he found ended his very life, a group of players that were outside the rules of the game and could kill your real world body. But that was not the end, it was a new beginning. He woke up to right before the game started and used his knowledge to become the games strongest character. Would it be enough to stop them or would things end the same way?

Detective Andrews looked at the other patrolman, "please head out to my car and grab my laptop out of the passenger seat."

"Yes, sir." It only took a few minutes and he came back with the bag.

The detective saw the man that he assumed was Jacob. "Is there a place that I can set up and go through the USB that Ms. Callahan gave me?"

"Of course. I have an office right this way." The detective went to work on his laptop and made sure that it was isolated from the network so that in the event that this was a trap he would be able to protect the police network. Only then would he plug in the USB. There were only two files, one labeled 'Read First' and one labeled 'Evidence'. He opened up the first one and it was a single document.
