Earth's IP Game Designer {BOOK I COMPLETED}

John Waters was your average otaku before his death. After finishing the final manga of one piece (a work that has spanned his entire lifetime) in 2050 he transmigrated to "Blue Star". In a world almost the same as ours, the technology tree seems to have missed a few nodes resulting in high-tech Full-Dive VR equipment without the well-developed game industry and Intellectual Property to go along with the technology. Along with John comes the "Earth's IP" system and with the backing of the "will of the multiverse" he will embark on the journey to bring enlightenment to this high-tech, yet, "un-enlightened backward world" called Blue Star. Of course, I don't own anything but the MC. Thanks to the original creators of all of the amazing IP that will span this entire web novel. Releases will be 3 - 4 chapters a week. #system #naruto #ATLA #SAO #Videogames #Onepiece #Pokemon #assasins creed #skyrim #Fate Cover Image came from State of the art text-to-image AI generator called Stable Diffusion.

Which New World?

In the private room of an expensive restaurant in BSV, Mr. Grey just finished relaying what the government is trying to force him to implement: The defamation and subsequent destruction plan of Raven Oscars.

His daughter and wife had different reactions, his wife seemed sympathetic and understanding while the daughter became irate.

"Why in the world would they do this? Raven Oscars give them money, entertainment, a new life.....why would they try a ruin Raven and discredit his multiverse?...." Chastain simply couldn't understand the issue.

Mr. Grey, the CEO of Blue Star News only sighed.....his daughter was intelligent and experienced in many things, but high-level politics wasn't one of them.

"Power.....it's about power sweety, at a certain level of wealth and influence, it's no longer about money and possessions. It's the power they want...and they hold no power over Raven Oscars and his "Travelers", and they cannot stand for that."

...(Scene Break).....

Raven Oscars, the man holding power the governmental bodies desire is currently torn between two decisions...he has already created two new worlds and they have been running in the "background" per se; they're not connected to Dome City antlion pits or Altissia's Gate of Worlds.

'Hmmm....which one would be a good next step for IPs in terms of power scaling, influence, Travelers' gains, and more?...' he considered thoughtfully.

Raven's available options are the Skyrim IP, which his old spymaster Hermaeus Mora is now the overseer of, or The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicles). There are positives for both, and potential for both...the only problem is scaling and Travelers' gains.

By simply doing the numbers, Travelers who dive into Skyrim will get more 'benefits' on average. For example, anyone can join the Stormcloaks or Imperials and thereby have access to basic training in various weapons and tactics, survival skills, and trades.

Moreover, those lucky enough to get into one of the colleges (Bard's, Mage, etc...), will be able to learn a higher level of standardized skills.....thus quite a bit of opportunity that is not too world-breaking with some balancing.

Therefore, the opportunity for improvement in Skyrim is high in general, but the truly valuable opportunities to gain immense power are simply too rare in the Skyrim IP for the average diver to obtain.

For example, such high-level opportunities could be found after making it into the higher level of the Thieves guild, Dark Brotherhood, College, Vampire Royalty, Dawnguard, etc.....very few will be able to join these organizations, and even fewer will survive, and rise in their ranks.

Moreover, the probability that they are lucky enough to transmigrate into an important character's body? Hah, infinitely low considering the entire continent has been enlarged and the population raised to span half of the generated planet. Most likely, Travelers will become normal peasants or military men/women.

The same issue belongs to The Name of the Wind IP, although it manifests in a different sense...the benefits from getting a lucky draw in TNOTW, are much higher than in Skyrim, but the trade-off is that the vast majority (More than in Skyrim) will be ordinary citizens of the world with little hope to gain power...at least until the world has gone through a couple resets and divers began to understand the power structure and geography.

To explain the potential for a lucky Traveler in The Name of the Wind, one can consider these scenarios...

If one has the talent for Naming, for example, and/or attends The University in the city of Imre, the level of potential and opportunity for strength is extremely high. Moreover, races like the Fae or groups like the Chandrian, the Amyr, and the Sithe.....are too powerful to be mentioned.

Essentially, while the power ceiling for both worlds is similar (Typical Gods), the opportunity to gain strength in The Name of the Wind is less in quantity, but higher in quality. While the opportunity in Skyrim is higher in quantity but lower in quality...

Thus, the decision for the next step is hard to make...

........

[A/N: Hello my Dear Travelers, I'm still enjoying talking to the Moon with you these nights, and I hope you are as well.

I understand that you might not like the above take on the power scaling of both IPs, so for this one time, I'm leaving it up for debate. I'll go back and make edits to this chapter to straighten out my assumed misunderstandings, all you have to do is convince this master debater and your fellow readers...

That's right! I'm actually encouraging a full-fledged otaku debate and will give you my guarantee to talk out of my @$$ like J.K Rowling, making things up as I go..... making it seem like I've thought things out...;)

P.S. EVERYONE! TAKE THIS TIME TO REVIEW THIS WORK, IT WOULD MEAN A LOT TO THIS WOLF]
