I’m the Boss
"Ring-ring!" A gorgeous jet black haired girl with jade eyes answered the phone.
"What?" She answered irritably. "Uh, do you need anything?" Rolls her eyes as she's losing her patience.
"Umm..Ms. Kiera your dad wants to ta—." The secretary over the phone said while interrupted immediately by Kiera.
"Tell him I'm on my way." Drops the call and walks inside a glass finished building.
Kiera is the CEO of Utopia fashion and make up trends. She is 22 years old and the only daughter of Philippines' greatest businessman, Mr. Tsubaki. As Kiera entered her office, her dad was waiting for her.
"What took you so long? A CEO shouldn't act that way. Would you please do your job correctly?" Kiera's father nags.
"DAD! Can you just give me a break? You know that my birthday is coming and it is really important to me. Besides, I've done my job already." A spoiled looking brat Kiera respond.
"Oh, about your birthday, the date of the events night about our new project is the same. Just celebrate your birthday with the shareholders." Mr. Tsubaki replied.
"Wait- what?! No! I'm having my own party." Kiera said and storms out of her office. Kiera messaged her best friend Amy to meet at the nearby cafe.
"I can't believe him! He just said that I'm not doing my job correctly. I'm fed up with his nagging. I really don't like the job he gave me but I'm still doing it perfectly." Kiera rants to Amy explaining what happened.
"Calm down Kiera, you shouldn't bother to stress over it. Your birthday is coming and you need to rest for your party." Amy said with calming voice.
Kiera hugged Amy and thank Amy for being there. "You're the best Amy." Kiera said.
"Now, what's the plan?" Amy asked. "Well, I already booked a venue, hired a chef and a dj." Kiera said. "So it's all set?" Amy asked. "Yup, my secretary did everything." Kiera confidently boast.
After a week, Kiera's birthday came and she decided to ignore the events night in her company. While Kiera is preparing in the dressing room, Amy came rushing inside and inform Kiera about something.
"Kiera! Kiera!" Amy shouted. "Amy would you please keep it low?" Kiera replied while doing her makeup. "It's just I need to tell you something." Amy said. "Then spill it!" Kiera said to Amy. "It's T-Tyler.." Amy said quietly. Kiera didn't respond and excuse herself. "I'll go to the restroom. Inform everyone that the party is starting." Kiera coldly told her secretary.
Meanwhile in the events night..
"Tonight! Is the night that we're waiting for! Let us welcome..." The host said entertaining the crowd. "Mr. Tsubaki! Ms. Kiera told me that she couldn't come." The butler said. "Let her be, the important thing is to succeed this event." Mr. Tsubaki said. "Umm..Sir there's another problem." The worker whispered to Mr. Tsubaki. "What is it?" Mr. Tsubaki replied. "It's Mr. Gold, he's back and he's attending Ms. Kiera's party." The worker said. "Tyler.." said Mr. Tsubaki gritting his teeth. "Hurry! Keep Kiera away from him!" Mr. Tsubaki said ordering his people.
"So..you gonna let him have fun here?" Amy asked. "Amy look, do I have a choice? I'm not gonna stop my party just for him." Kiera said.
While Kiera is busy dancing and drinking, she saw a silhouette beside the door to her dressing room. Kiera immediately went to check if there's someone and "THUD!" A man pinned Kiera to the wall. Kiera gasps and look up. "T-Tyler?" Kiera asked nervously. "Hey Kiera, did you miss me?" Tyler said sarcastically. "Tyler please, not here." Kiera said while shaking in fear. "Why? We can have so much fun tonight." Tyler said grinning and looking deadly to Kiera. Kiera ran away from Tyler and told her staffs that the party is over.
The guests are gone and Kiera was still at the venue drinking the night away. While Kiera was crying she drink more alcohol until she's drunk. The bodyguards of her father came to the venue and fetch Kiera. "Ms. Kiera, your father told us to accompany you until you're home." The bodyguard said. "Leave me alone." Kiera said and run away with her drink.
As Kiera leave the venue, she walk past an old man. "Young lady, could you give me some food and water? I've been lost for days." The old man said as he reach out to Kiera. "SMASH!!!!" Kiera throw the wine glass at the floor beside the old man. "Let go of me you dirty old man! I don't care if you're lost, my life's been miserable. Tch!" Kiera said as she pushes the old man. The old man sigh and cursed Kiera. "Go forth to the World of Dystopia. You shall not return to this world until Dystopia is at peace." The old left with the wind while drunk Kiera head inside her house.
The night passed and Kiera woke up in a bright light from the sun. "Hmm..why is it so bright?" Kiera said covering her eyes. When she opened her eyes she was in a unfamiliar place. Kiera stood up and opened the door. "WHOOSH!!" A horse passed in front of Kiera. "What. The. Hell?!!"
