Chapter 39: Dealing with Hades and Releasing Lilith

While the Naberius clan was receiving its cleansing, Trini and Pyran were going through the Realm of dead. They really had to wait for a long time before Hades decided to arrive. It seems that Hades was cautious and was waiting for any retaliation before appearing.

After a week, he allowed the 4 into his domain with the hostage. Once inside, Hades looked at them and said, "It seems you did a good job in handling the retrieval mission." He them pointed at Pyran, who was holding Trini in his Grim reaper disguise and said, "You. Follow me with the subject. I will start to prep her for experiments."

Pyran was not sure if it is luck or if it is Hades's bad luck. But he did not complain. Just followed Hades to the lab. Once inside, Hades pointed at a table and said, "Place the subject there and get out."

But something unexpected happened. The space got locked and Hades was completely isolated from the outside. There was a Barrier separating him from the outside. Hades was perplexed and was not sure what happened. But he was sure that he is done for. So, he urgently ordered,

"If someone barges in, just say that you saved her from the devils and unable to save the other girl. We just took her to the lab to check for any injuries. Got it!"

Pyran and Trini was gobsmacked due to Hades's shameless behaviour. He did not act like a powerful god, but like a low life thug boss. Pyran was speechless and said, "You know Hades, I came here with a thought that you will give us a good fight even though you will not be able to scratch a single hair on us, even if you use your full power. I think it was me who was expecting more." While he was taking, Pyran completely transformed back to his real image along with Trini.

Hades was shocked and asked, "Why are you here? How were you able to deceive the barrier? How were you able to copy the energy signature of the Grim Reapers?"

Trini was irritated and said, "I was really not sure that if you had any brain inside of the skull head. But now you confirmed it. I mean, are you that dumb to figure out that we came here to finish you off."

Hades got angry and said, "Impossible!!! As per the energy reading, we took you were only Mid-Low level till last week. How can you deceive me with your measly power?!!"

"Oh, that's what you are confused about! Once you have perfect control of your power, you can hide your power level to an extreme degree." Pyran said with a mocking smile and started to raise his power to Low-Original Level. 

Hades was enraged with the smile and without even considering anything, he started to fire death beams from his skull staff. But every beam was being stopped by a barrier. Even if it hits them there was no damage, instead they all got negated.

Trini had enough of it and fired her raw origin beam at Hades. That all it took to take down the old skeleton. Pyran and Trini were gobsmacked again. He was the strongest god in the Greek faction. Even Zeus did not hold a candle against him. But he got done in by a single attack that was too at Original-level and not even Chaos-level. 

When they went near Hades, he was knocked out cold. So, they decided to check the reason why he got done in by a single attack. And the Lab provided a wonderful opportunity. 

They mounted Hades in the machines that they were familiar with and started their diagnosis. They ran various tests and checked his reserves and divinity. When Hades woke up and found himself hooked up in his own lab equipment. He started thrashing, trying to get out. But his divinity and Mana got sealed.

After 2 days of research, suddenly Pyran started to laugh. He laughed so hard that he was unable to speak properly when Trini asked him what happened. After a minute, He gathered himself and went near Hades. Trini, being curious as to what happened, followed him.

Once he was near Hades, Pyran said in an amused tone, "I mean, how can you be such an idiot and genius at the same time. I'm really not sure whether to Praise you or mock you now."

All this while, Hades did not speak but he was as confused as Trini. Trini, then unable to hold herself, asked, "Why? What happened Pyran? Did you figure out something?"

Pyran turned to Trini and happily said, "Yes, I figured out what happened to him and why he was so weak. Infact what he did was so helpful to our people after some correction. This idiot here did something so awesome and foolish at the same time. If only he had tried to revise his plan, we might have had another Conceptual level being in our midst. But, after going through all the data he had in the lab, I know he jumped to the first thing he saw and did something useless."

Trini got more intrigued now, when Pyran said it was useful for the people in eternity, she was more excited to know what it was. So, she asked excitedly, "What did you find out?!! And how is it useful?!!"

Pyran the smile and explained, "You know that Hades is experimenting with creating artificial devils, right?" Trini nodded her head and Hades was shocked. He was thinking, 'How did he find out. Did he go to the lower level? No! He was here at the lab all this time? HOW DID HE KNOW?'

Pyran continued, "This idiot, after his multiple attempts figured that he was unable to continue due to his death energy. After artificially trying to impregnate Lilith, who he kidnapped after the great war, he found out that he need divinity in Creation to continue. And this amazing fool, instead of developing his own creation divinity, he stole a shard of divinity from his mother, Gaia, and fused with it forcefully.

This made his whole death energy unstable and weak as both death and creation oppose each other. But what is useful for us is that the method he used to merge with it. He used his divinity core as a medium and forcefully sealed the creation shard in it. Then he started to absorb the divinity. 

But if we revise his method a little bit and use our core to absorb the law by meditation, we can have our people start to train in a particular law earlier and it will be easier for them, when the try to evolve to Law Reader in future. We just have to get some law shards and set up a training area for this method. If we research further in that direction, we will be able to develop a new training method for our people."

Trini was shocked, speechless and excited. She then said, "Now it all makes sense. Why he was weak. Why it was easy to take him down. Why there was a conflict in his divinity." She then turned to Pyran and said, "This means, in 200-300 years he might have assimilated them both and he will become someone equal to Ophis and Great Red."

She then said to Hades, "Like he said, I'm not sure of I should praise you or mock you. If you might've waited 200-300 years you would've gotten the chance be more powerful. Too bad you had to mess with us. But I will Thank you for now. The method you given us will be a huge boost to our pantheon."

Hades was shocked by the revelation. He was thinking, 'I got this close to become powerful but got done in because I messed with wrong people? NO! I will not accept it! This is all their fault!! I just have to escape for now!! I can wait for few more years to take revenge!!'

Hades then said to Trini and Pyran, "I don't know who you are but as you have got something out from me, isn't it time for you to release me?"

Pyran was amused by Hades's statement. He then said to Hades, "Let me think, you were thinking how you came close to unimaginable power and let it slip away and now you are unable to accept it. So, you are thinking of escaping and taking revenge later as it was our fault from your view point. Did I miss something?"

Hades was shocked. He was not sure how the man was able to figure out his thoughts. Trini then said, "Judging from your silence, it seems my lover was right. So, let me tell you what will happen. We have already dispatched our clones to take care of your cronies. Now we will take care of you. But, don't worry. We will not hurt your wife Persephone. We know you are a loyal one. So thought of sending her back to Olympia but we fear Zeus will take advantage of her due to your absence. So, we will take your divinity and give it to her. Then we will transfer the ownership of Realm of dead to her. This will stop Zeus or anyone approaching her."

Hades got nothing more to say. He was thought for a long time. He was unable to come up with anything that will save him. Finally, he sighed and asked, "I know I will die at the end. So, can I meet my wife and children for the last time?"

Pyran and Trini knew that he will ask for them. They already decided to let them meet for one last time. They were already informed about Hades's crimes and they were shown the lower level of the Lab by Pyran's Clones. So, all the unnecessary dramas were taken care of.

After few minutes, Persephone, Macaria, Melione and Zagreus were taken in. After a few hours all were back. Except for Hades, who accepted his death, rest were glaring at Pyran and Trini with hatred. Pyran then said, "I know you will all hate me for killing Hades. But who is there for to answer for all the crimes that he committed. Just be happy that I allowed you to meet him and did not disclose his deeds to the other pantheons. If his deeds were known, Realm of the dead will have no one to take care of the dead souls. Like I told you earlier, just say that he tried to merge with the Life creation shard and died due to the backlash."

Hades then said, "Don't worry nothing happened here will go out. I have already informed them of the consequences and my acceptance of my death. I have also made them pledge with River Styx so that they will follow your instructions. Now, let us get it over with."

Pyran and Trini gazed at Hades with respect and appreciation. Then Pyran forcefully extracted the divinity crystal from Hades. This made Hades weak as a normal human. He was only alive due to his goldy genes. Pyran then shot a energy beam that killed Hades instantly. Pyran did not do anything to the body. He left it for his family to bury. 

Pyran then split the Crystal into 4 parts. One bigger and 3 smaller ones. He removed the Life divinity shard and sent the death divinity to Persephone, Macaria, Melione and Zagreus with the bigger one going to Persephone.

Persephone then said, "I will never be able to forgive you for what you did but I thank you for doing all this, despite the wrongdoing of my husband. I promise you that the instruction you gave us will be followed thoroughly. And I also Thank you for transferring the ownership of the Dimension to me. It will help us big time." Then without waiting for any reply she walked away with the corpse of Hades. Macaria, Melione and Zagreus sent one last glare and went away.

Pyran and Trini then went towards the lower level. They want to see the situation of Lilith, the mother of all the first 72 devils. After the Great war she mysteriously disappeared and all the devils tried to search for her. But no one knew that she was kidnapped by Hades using the Helm of Hades. She was then used for experiments and breeding cow for all kinds of monster in the hope of creating artificial devils for Hades.

What Hades failed to understand was that Lilith was not actually a devil. She did not even belong to the Biblical Pantheon. She belonged to the Sumerian Pantheon. She is one of Primordial Goddess of life, Tiamat's Children. Lilith got a small amount of power of life from her mother. But her inherent trait is Succubus. So, when she tried to seduce Adam, the first human, the biblical god cursed and banished her to the underworld. No one had the power to save her in the Sumerian Pantheon.

She then got together with Lucifer, who was cursed and casted out, and created the 72 pillars. Lucifer only used her as a Breeding factory to create an army for waging war against the heaven. The war, the kidnapping and the experimentation, she was one of the pitiful people in the whole fiasco. 

When Pyran and Trini saw the state of Lilith, she was hanging by a thread. She only had pitiful amount of vitality to keep her body functioning. In less than 5 years she will be dead.

Even after all the cruel treatment and experimentation, her beauty did not diminish a single bit. She is a succubus and she is proving it just by her looks. She had beautiful black hair that reached till her knees. Her eyes are crystal red and mesmerizing and her body had perfect proportion. She is about 5'7 - 5'8 in height.

When Lilith saw the new comers, she did not react much just looked at them and went back to staring at the ceiling. Pyran and Trini knew that she is sound in mind. Its just that she didn't care anymore. Pyran let Trini do the talking. He nudged Trini to speak with her.

Trini stepped forward and started to speak, "Hey there. I'm Trinity Hyperion Hexaron. You can call me Trini for short." But there was no sign of movement from Lilith. So, Trini continued, "I know you can understand me. So, let me tell you this. Hades is dead and we have come to free you. Can you tell me where we should take you."

This finally got some reaction from Lilith. She Looked at Trini and mumbled something. Trini was unable to make up what she was saying so she asked, "Come again?" This time both Trini and Pyran were able to hear what she was saying. They heard a chilling statement, "Kill me."

Pyran and Trini were surprised and unsurprised at the same time. After 1000 years of suffering, if one could say that there is no toll on their mentality, then it would be a lie. So, they understood where she is coming from. But Trini wanted ask the reason and to know if they can do something else for her. All said and done, she is one of her nieces. She has already suffered enough. So, Trini wanted to do something for her.

Trini asked, "I understand the reason for the statement, but can you please explain. I would like to know if there is anything I could do to help you changing your decision." Lilith just looked at her and then wanted to ignore. But something deep within her told her that she could trust the person opposite to her and she would not judge her. So, Lilith after a long silence started to talk,

"I'm not sure if you know this but I'm actually a Sumerian god. I was just cursed and banished by Yahweh because I tried to seduce his creation. But after all that was said and done, it was my fault and I accept it. But my siblings had a chance to save me but they turned their backs and abandoned me. That was why I took the first chance I got when Lucifer was sent to the Underworld."

She then talked about how they created the devils and how she tried to use lucifer. Then how she fell in love with him. How he betrayed her and sold her to Hades. 

"….. I loved him so much. I was ready to give up all my revenge, dissatisfaction and pleasure for him. But he just threw me away like a trash. I was waiting from my death which hades did not allow me to have. I'm tired of all of this. I just wanted to rest. So, please end my suffering. Please!" by the end she was crying like a child. Trini's heart ached for her. She did not know how hurt Lilith was but she knows that if something like this happened between her and Pyran, she will die then and there. So, considering all this and as her aunt, Trini decided to give what Lilith desired the most. It was the day Trini lost one of her Nieces, Lilith.
