Chapter 86 We are family.

Behind her desk, sat Sirzechs Lucifer with a kind smile on her face as she watched her sister in adoration.

"Onee-sama." Rias made a bow and the rest, her entire Peerage, with Issei included, followed.

The Super Devil came from her spot and walked over to Rias. The Crimson-Haired Princess really didn't like it but there was a spot where she relaxed when she felt her older sister's arms around her, giving her a proper hug.

"Good to see you again, Rias." Issei watched how Sirzechs lifted Rias up from her spot and put her back down.

"The feeling is mutual, onee-sama."

The other Peerage members couldn't escape the hug either although the reactions were different. Akeno was a bit more eager to take that hug in as she felt the warm arms around her while Grayfia had a small giggle.

"I hope that your days have been pleasant, Akeno-chan. Ria-tan didn't give you too many issues." The giggles were even louder which Sirzechs found good enough.

"I'll take that as a yes."

Kiba's hug wasn't as tight but the [Knight] just smiled when he felt the arms around him.

"Pleasure to be in your presence again, Lucifer-sama?" The woman ruffled his hair and admonished him.

"Oh, Yuuto. We are family. No need to be so stiff."

Koneko didn't know if she was up for it but she stood before Sirzechs, reluctant but the [Rook] couldn't keep the smile from her face.

"Hello, Koneko-chan." The Super Devil wrapped her arms around the small girl and it was all too easy to lift her up.

It was more akin to a giant cat which made sense the more Issei thought about it. Then she grabbed the face of Koneko and got her closer to the body.

"Good to see you too, onee-sama." With another tight hug gone, Sirzechs put Koneko on the ground while the [Rook] couldn't keep from smiling.

Sirzechs looked over to Asia and from the looks of it, she was a bit more apprehensive. Letting go from Issei, the [Bishop] stood before her and it was only a head-pat that made her smile as well.

"Asia-chan. I don't think we have properly met before. I'm Sirzechs Lucifer. Your master's older sister."

The blonde Nun bowed to the woman and with a smile that made everyone mimic the action, she looked at her.

"I'll be in your care, Sirzechs-sama." The Maou found that good enough.

"Adorable, you certainly know how to pick them, Ria-tan." Then came Issei who lowered his head before the woman.

"Issei Hyoudou-kun. You certainly didn't make it easy for me the last few days." The Dragon sheepishly rubbed his head, with the same uneasy smile.

"I hate to have been a bother."

Sirzechs then grabbed him by the hair and softly, she rubbed it like he was an unruly child.

"Well, I do believe you deserve some leeway from my Ria-tan from her fate. And perhaps, there are some ways to thank you."

He wondered why he got a hug from her that landed his face, right between the chest of Sirzechs who enjoyed the gasps from the ladies while Issei's face turned bright red.

"Welcome to the Gremory family, Issei Hyoudou." There was a collective teamwork from Akeno and Rias who pulled him out and Issei composed himself, remarkably quickly.

The Super Devil just smiled in a fond fashion while her little sister glared at her. It was adorable to see her so jealous.

It was in her nature though that Sirzechs got what she wanted.

"Did you ask us to come here, just for you to embarrass us or do you want a serious discussion?"

The Maou sauntered over to the sofas while swaying her hips. She missed that Issei was pinching the bridge of his nose while Akeno and Rias were somewhat relieved to see that he was annoyed, not aroused.

Or not as aroused as he was annoyed.

Grayfia couldn't hide the small smile from her face. Her master was right about their feelings towards the young Dragon.

And the developing feelings that Sirzechs had for Issei Hyoudou.

"Not at all. I am here to discuss quite a few matters." Flopping down on the sofas, Grayfia, the ever dutiful [Queen] took her place behind her master.

Rias took the opposite seat while her Peerage, Issei included, took their place behind her.

Sirzechs looked up to him and there was again a smile.

"Oh, Issei-kun. I'd like you to sit down. I do think you deserve that spot, given the fact that you are Ria-tan's new fiancée. I suppose that you have already consummated your newest agreement."

The Maou laughed as Grayfia actually chuckled. The teenagers though were less than amused. Asia and Koneko turned bright red, Akeno was thinking of murdering her older sisters, a thought shared by Rias while Kiba was turning white as a sheet.

The Dragon facepalmed as he stared into the eyes of Sirzechs.

"I have a lot more respect for myself and your sister to think that I would ever think that was appropriate."

"Are you saying you do not want to have fun with my little sister?"

"There is a time and place for everything." The Dragon retorted while Rias looked up, thankful like that.

"I take that you have not bedded, the others from my sister's Peerage." His arms crossed, Issei glared at Sirzechs, as much as he dared.

"They are ladies who deserve to be courted, properly." His head turned to the three who couldn't keep the smile away.

"I like to say that we are moving along. But you have called us here to talk about this engagement." Sirzechs began to understand why Issei wanted to move along. Rias felt a comforting hand on her shoulder which squeezed softly into the bone.

"Yes, my [Queen] informed me that you were ready to take Riser's place. You do intend to carry that out? Despite your nature."

Issei felt Rias's eyes on him while she nodded. He got the all-clear.
