Chapter 22 That is different.

"I'm not an idiot. I can handle that just fine. Just don't make it too late." Issei nodded to her.

Kissing her on the lips, Raynare's eyes widened as she felt his tongue slipping into her mouth.

"Please forgive me for that matter. I had to make sure."

"I am not in a position to hate you." With that said, Issei could smell French toast.

Going back to his room, he changed into his uniform.

When he walked into the kitchen, he saw that Asia was cooking. Mittelt was glaring daggers at him. Ignoring her, he turned to Asia.

"Good morning, Asia." The former Nun smiled at him.

"Good morning, Issei. I hope you don't mind that I cooked. It was already late."

"You're a saving Angel." Then he realized what he said.

Raynare muffled a laugh while Mittelt still kept her furious look.

"I missed your cooking though, Asia." The lady smiled as she looked at the rooms.

"Doesn't Kalawarner-san come out? I cooked for her as well." Raynare who was seated next to her whispered something in her ear.

Instead of a blush, Asia just had a sly look. Oh, great, corruption had already set in.

"Issei, you're a perv." She stuck out her tongue and Issei just ate the toast. It was delicious and he continued to eat.

Pretty girls could always lighten up a day.

When he got ready to leave, his head turned to the three inside.

"I'll give you a ring when we can go shopping. Make a list of all what you want and we'll see how to get all things. I hope that I can get you out of this."

"Issei, not to complain but I'd like some fresh air," Raynare asked as she had been in the house for nearly two days.

"You can't leave my house." Issei shot back.

"But when you lay on the roof, they can't complain. So do that." Issei then left the house. Asia took Raynare's hand.

"Come on. Let's get to the roof." Rolling her eyes, Raynare followed Asia.

It would be the only living soul that could be talked to. Mittelt would stew for at least two weeks before she would let this grudge go. Oh, she knew how her shorter companion was. Mittelt wasn't stupid.

So that was why Issei laughed her off.

Kalawarner would still be asleep.

"Hey, Raynare-sama. How can I get Issei's attention?" Oh, this girl. She had already begun without her help.

Raynare knew that she couldn't go too far but turning Asia into a teasing minx would be fun.

"Let's see how we can do that. My stupid master might need that."

Issei wondered why he decided to do this. School life wasn't all it was made out to be. But he kept his mind up as he took notes.

The less he attracted attention, the better. Although he knew that it was impossible as he had talked to Rias Gremory. The teachers left him be for the most part and Issei could write it down.

His hopes for hoping that people would forget his name died during a break.

"Ara, is Issei Hyoudou-kun around?"

Turning his head around, his eyes landed on Akeno Himejima.

Most of the classmates were fawning over the figure that was worthy of worship. Meanwhile, Issei just turned to the raven-haired beauty.

He wondered why she and Raynare were so alike. Akeno looked like a mix between the two personas that Raynare had created.

Besides that, their hair, eyes, faces, and most notably chests, appeared to be alike.

"I'm here. You need something from me, Himejima-senpai?"

"Yes, I'm here to inform you that Rias wants to see you at the clubroom when class is over?" Issei did something that most could only hope of dreaming.

Blowing Akeno Himejima off.

"You didn't have to come and tell me. I know that I had to come in."

The Nadeshiko's smile twitched a bit.

"I am also to inform you that we are all going to be present. So don't cause a ruckus." Issei simply pointed his thumb to the class.

"Like you are doing now?"

The woman looked behind her and saw how the class was reacting to her.

"That is different. Don't forget." Issei smiled back at her.

"Will do. Thank you for reminding me."

Issei didn't care about the grudges or hate he received. He was long used to that.

Scene skip

When Issei walked through the door, he came to find that the entire Peerage was gathered there. On the couch sat both the [Rook] and the [Knight].

Koneko Toujou just nodded at him while Kiba Yuuto smiled at him.

"Ah, it looks like our latest member would join in now."

"Guess so." His head turned to Akeno who was brewing tea. His ears did tell him that a shower was running.

"Why do I hear water rushing?"

"Buchou likes to shower before our meetings," Akeno said and giggled. Issei didn't react as any had thought.

He just sat down next to Koneko. Looking up at a plate of cookies at the table, he pointed at them.

You going to share those?"

Koneko bit through one. She looked back at him and it was a mixture of a neutral look and a glare. Issei just returned that glare.

"Yes or no?"

"Just one."

"Thank you," Issei said as he took one.

They weren't bad but Issei liked gingersnaps more. He ate them when he worked together with a few Exorcists who came from the Netherlands.

"So when does Gremory-senpai comes out? I don't have all day." Issei said. The three Devils glared at him as they looked back at him.

"You'll wait until Buchou is done showering," Kiba replied and the Dragon rolled his eyes at him.

"I'm not her servant and my time is not hers to waste. So please."

"I'm sorry, Issei but things got a bit hectic. Give me ten minutes." Issei sat back as he waited patiently until Rias would come out.

She looked as pristine as ever. Sitting down in the chair, she leaned on the desk. Her smile caused him to forgive her a bit.

"So I take you want something from me?" Issei asked as she looked at Rias.
