CH 10 EVIL PIECES

After the announcement of Rias's engagement between her and riser was announced at the party being hosted in the Phenex clan two things were pushed forward. the first being Rias's demand to get her evil pieces earlier. she was scheduled to get her evil pieces on her tenth birthday alongside me and Sona. the Satans thought it was a good idea for all of us to get our evil pieces on the same day that's why, but it looks like that isn't going to be the case anymore as father has agreed to hold the ceremony for rias within a week and today is the day she is supposed to get them. ' Sense that was the case I asked father if can get my evil pieces alongside her cause if Kuroka breaks free and kills her master before I have my evil pieces, I won't be able to help her as she won't be my servant. '

the other thing is related to the Phenex clan and the deal i brought up to ravel. like she said she would she brought the deal up to her parents' attention and they sent me a letter expressing their interest in the deal and where curious as to when a good day to talk about it would be. i am currently sitting down at my desk reading the contents of the letter. At the end of this week, I will be receiving my evil pieces along with rias, oh and the match between Diodora and lord Astaroth is in a few days, and I can't miss that. 

I turn to look at my maid Sandra who has just refiled my cup of tea on my desk. " Sandra? "

" Yes, my lord. " She replies to me in a professional manner.

" What time is Rias supposed to be here for the ceremony today? " 

" she will be here within an hour along with her father and mother accompanying her. " my maid swiftly replies to my question.

" I see. " I get up from my desk and quickly took a shower and got dressed for the ceremony. once I was dressed and ready I waited for a notice that the Gremory's have arrived and with that notice I teleported to the room where the ceremony was being held.

the room was all white devoid of pretty much everything except for a large statue of the king chess piece and beside it was my father patiently waiting for everyone to arrive.

father turns to look at me as I step out of the teleportation circle. " Ah my son, are you excited to receive your own evil pieces. " he says with a smile on his face as he looks at me.

" Indeed I am. getting a peerage is the first step that I must take. " I say proudly as I walk over to him and stand next to him.

" Oh, and those adjustments you asked to be made to your evil pieces have been made but are you sure you don't want them? they are there to ensure the masters safety. " Says Ajuka informing me about the changes that have been made to them.

I lightly nod my head. " I am sure father, but it seems like this conversation will have to be cut short as they are here. "

as I finish speaking rias walks through the doors with both her mother and father behind her as she makes her way over to us.

" Rias it's good to see you again it certainly has been a while I didn't really get a chance to speak to you at the engament party. " I say to her trying to strike up small talk. she turns to look at me with a frown at the mention of engament party before turning to look at my father.

" May we begin now? " Says rias with little to no care for formalities ignoring me completely 

' Okay maybe not the best idea to mention engament to her. ' I watch as rias ignores me completely and addresses my father.

both zeoticus and venelana have a wry smile as they watch rias addresses lord Beelzebub in a rude manner. Ajuka just lightly laughs unbothered by rias and nods as he motions for rias to place her hand on the statue.

" Sure to begin with place your hand on here and push your demonic power through and then you will form a contract becoming the king of your peerage. " He says guiding rias through the process. rias nods her head and does as she is told. the statue glows a bright red as she slowly removes her hand from the statue. 

" Now that the contract is formed here is your evil pieces my lady. " Ajuka holds a small wooden box open reveling a full set of crimson chess pieces. 

Rias looks at the evil pieces in awe admiring them with a smile as she takes the box from Ajuka and gives him a bow before heading over to her parents pretty much showing them off.

zeoticus gently pats her on her shoulder with a smile. " Congratulations rias. "

" Yes, I'm very happy for you dear. " Says venelana.

" it's your turn now. " Says Ajuka as he motions for me to come over. I go over and stand Infront of the statue just like rias. 

' Right so I just put my hand up to it and pour some of my demonic power into it and form a contract? sounds simple enough. ' i place my hand up against the statue and pour my demonic power into it as I do the statue begins to glow a bright green and i can feel the contract being made. once the light dies down, I pull my hand back and look to my father. he is holding a small wooden box just like the one rias has and opens it reveling my set of evil pieces.

Ajuka has a small smile on his face as he looks at the evil pieces. " Well would you look at that you have three mutation pieces son. " As my father said that I could hear the surprised voices of zeoticus and venelana as they spoke with each other in low voices. 

at my father's words I take a closer look at them and see that I do in fact have three mutation pieces. one is a pawn another is a bishop, and the last mutated piece is a knight. " Is three good fathers? " I ask as I am not entirely how rare mutated are or if they are any good.

" Yes, it is good just getting one is extremely lucky much less three. usually only one out of ten devils manage to get a single mutation piece. "

" I see. "

*clap* *clap* " and with that the ceremony is now complete. "

once we said our goodbyes to the Gremory clan I promptly left and headed back to my room to think. now that i have my evil pieces I have to be very careful about who I pick to join my peerage. I most certainly can't just throw my evil pieces at beautiful women to create a harem like some other devils. but who should I reincarnate humans with powerful sacred gears, people from different factions and races? what about their personality it doesn't matter if they are strong if they can't follow my orders. I should probably send out some watchers to the human world to look for anyone suitable to become my servant.

" So do you know who you're going to reincarnate first? " Asked Diodora as both him and Latia are on my bed looking at the evil pieces i have just received.

I turn to look at him with a slight grin on my face as he looks up at me with a frown. " I don't like the look you have right now Alexander. " Says Diodora in a not all to happy voice.

 Well, there is somebody or more like something in mind. for my first member I plan on reincarnating that dragon I fought when me and Diodora went out to the forest to train. I mean why not from what I can remember Seekvaira Agares has made a dragon into her servant so I don't see why I can't do the same. 

" Well remember that dragon we encountered a while back. " I say to Diodora sheepishly. 

" Dragon? " Latia says unaware about anything concerning a dragon.

*sigh* Diodora sighs loudly as he puts his palm up to his face. " Latia when me and Alex here went out to train for a week on the very last day, we came across a cave and at that time we didn't know it was home to a dragon and the farther we went in we found a whole horde of treasure and without thinking that idiot began taking as much as he can. " He points his finger at me still annoyed by my actions.

I just shrug my shoulders and smile as he continues.

" Anyways I realized that it belonged to the dragon that lived in that area and wanted to leave before it came back but sadly the dragon came back and saw that Alexander has pretty much stolen all of its treasure and flew into a rage blindly chasing us for hours. we only managed to escape by fleeing into a canyon where he managed to stall the dragon long enough for us to teleport back here. "

Latia turns to look at me. " Wow I can't tell if your cool for fighting a dragon or stupid. "

" I prefer cool. " I said to Latia.

" Definitely stupid. " Diodora says bluntly not missing the chance to insult me.

" HEYY. " 

" I mean what makes you think this is a smart idea in the first place. that dragon will most likely try to kill you on the spot the moment its see's you. " Says Diodora trying to get his point across that this is a bad idea.

I summon the dragon heart to my hand as a wide grin spreads across my face as stare at the dragon heart. " Cause I got an offer it simply can't refuse. "
